The friendliness of the Receptionist on Arrival who answered our questions about meal times and gave us directions to our room which was very spacious.A firm mattress and firm pillows ensured a good night sleep. In the morning when you open the curtains, you get a lovely view of the river. The meals were wonderful although you have to book for Dinner because they are very busy. If you don`t want a sit down meal ,there are take away shops very close by. Very quiet location. The Visitor Information Centre is just across the road for ideas on what to do while you are in Renmark

Hotel Renmark is a unique historic hotel owned by the Renmark community. Although some guest rooms in the original building remain on the second floor, the accomodation we stayed in was in the modern motel wing of the large hotel. It provided comfortable accommodation with views of the Murray River. The community owned hotel has retained the striking deco exterior, however much of the hotel’s common areas have been modernised. All is not lost , because in a tribute to its rich history and pivotal role it has played in Renmark’s cultural life, the hotel maintains an excellent museum on the first floor.

Upon arrival, we found the front receptionist very friendly and pleasant. The room was very spacious, very clean, very comfy bed, very quiet considering it was on the main street. We dined at the rooftop Verandah, which we thoroughly enjoyed after a long drive. Nice relaxing view over the park\river. Food was very good as well, good service , cold beer ontop wine selection was good. Everything we needed to unwind before setting off again. Highly recommended when passing through Renmark. Hidden little Gem.

Very clean and tidy. Great location, river views. Room was modern and had everything I needed. It was quiet too. Wifi worked fine and was fast. Bed firm and solid. Ceiling fan very welcome! Spa was big and good - not too noisy.

Had to order room service by a QR code but the ordering website just did not work - kept telling me every item I added was unavailable, happened over 15 minutes frustratingly repeating. But when calling the kitchen it was all in stock. AC was very noisy at night - gas gurgling noises. Might need a service. I detest those bulk pump packs on the wall for shampoo etc. They creep me out.

Great location. Spacious bathroom. Beautiful art deco style. Free parking. Food was delicious. Nice coffee. Great view of the Murray River from the balcony.

The room was very dated. Hopefully the beautiful art deco renovation in the foyer will be transferred to the guest rooms. Strange that when ordering breakfast, it isn’t bought to the room in the morning. The guest has to go a get it from the dining room and bring it back ourselves. Very hard bed. Internet wouldn’t connect to the tv so guests can chrome cast to the tv or watch streaming services. No mini bar. When on the balcony, the panel separating the rooms was see through. No privacy between guests on the balcony. The panel needs to be a solid wall.

Location was good, on the Murray River. Unfortunately the river front is being rebuilt, so access to the river walk in front of the hotel was barred. We walked further along (left out of the hotel) and found we could walk along the river near the water towers. The Nanya restaurant was good for dinner and breakfast - be warned the portions are large!

The first room we were given had an adjoining door to the next door room, through which we could hear normal conversation voices quite easily. We asked to be moved and were given a family room further along - more spacious and very quiet. Beds were comfortable.

We love the Renmark Hotel. It's a beautiful building in a great location on the river front. The room was above our expectations.

Didn't like getting woken up by the cleaner who then proceeded to let themselves in well before checkout time. We were still in bed. It was very awkward. Other than that it would have been nice to have a couple of bottles of water in the fridge for when we arrived. Or even a drink fountain where we could fill our bottles with cold water.

Lovely clean room stay. Very hot dsys there....and cool airconditioning was a relief! Everything was made easy and straightforward. The staff were exceptionally helpful.

There were no wardrobes for our stay. I'm a wardbrobe kinda fella! Like my clothes into drawers out of my luggage. Also....a humming I think of someones airconditioning was not a nice thing to find annoying in the middle of the night with every possibility it could keep anyone awake and unable to sleep.

Location is perfect. Dinner was excellent and good value for money. Beautiful building, beautifully kept. Was up early enough for sunrise and a perfect breakfast. The balcony room overlooking the river was lovely. I think next time I’ll book ground floor accommodation so I can simply walk straight out of my door to the river across the road. Really liked the walk-in shower (so many of these old hotels have the shower over a bath).

A very convenient location, close to everything, restaurants with in 2 minutes walk away, the bed was really comfy and im very hard to please. we just absolutely loved our 3 night stay and other than the river unfortunately being fenced off during our stay i honestly cant fault anything !

Unfortunately the river was fenced off during our stay...which of course has nothing to do with Hotel Renmark but that was a disappointing factor, i was looking forward to crossing the road and sitting by the banks but it wasnt to be sadly
