My husband and I loved everything about this property. The entire layout of the hotel is very unique. The hallways are super cute and different. We clearly didn’t see pictures of the room prior to paying for it bc we were so surprised to see bunk bends as we are walking into the room. We really thought it was just a simple room but no, there was even a kitchenette equipped with everything you need! I didn’t even notice the actual bedroom until I was walking back to the front door when I glance to my left and see a cute room! I was blown away by seeing a cute window that looks out to the hallway . It has metal bars so don’t worry , it very safe . The bedroom has a door behind the bedroom door that enters into the bathroom . I loved that. Not to mention we got a beautiful view of the ocean and the balcony chairs were super comfy! We truly enjoyed this room and will be staying there every time we cruise bc it’s lovely !

We loved the junior suite. Loved the set up and all.

Needed toilet paper after 11:00 and had no way of getting any.

The property was located perfectly across the beach. The room was clean and had a nice clean smell. We didn’t use any of the utensils since we ate out and didn’t really stay in the room. We used the laundry room which was not that far to walk from room. It took quarters and the cost was $2 to wash and then $2 to dry. Ice machine was on second floor and it came in handy for cold drinks. We had a relaxing fun time on vacation. The pool area was always nice and clean. The kids had lots of fun and us adults too.

Great location and better value than a traditional hotel. Having the kitchen gives you more options and makes it feel more like a home away from home during your stay.

The elevator closest to our room made a suspicious vibrating noise every time it came to a stop on the way up. It almost made us want to walk to the one farther away or take the stairs. Also a lot of the property is starting to show rust and weathering and could use some freshening up. But I have far more good things to say about this place than bad.

I liked the rooms and location of the hotel. Friendly staff.

The only thing I didn’t like is that the pools were hot. Don’t heat the pools in summer. One of the the biggest things I looked forward to on vacation is relaxing in the pool but these pools were not refreshing at all. So hot! No relaxing in the cool pool. 😒

The maintenance guys gave us a hard time over storage of our electric bikes, checked out B4 morning staff made it in so the security took our check out keys. I asked her to have the staff email my receipt. I wrote down my email address. After 4 hours of not getting it, I called the front desk from my car and asked for a receipt again and gave her my email. It's now 9 pm and still no reveipt6

No hot tub or spa

We have stayed at Casa Del Mar several times and we have never been disappointed! When the AC went out in our room, the maintenance man came promptly to fix it which worked for a while but went out again. The staff then promptly found us another room which was just as comfortable and clean.

Our second room was in need of a bathroom remodel (new tub/shower). The chairs on the balcony need to be taller to be able to see over the railing.

The view and the location made it super easy to get around. Walmart, Kroger, Randall's were all within a block. The beach was easily accessible and being able to sit out on the balcony each morning and evening was super relaxing. We will definitely be back!

No maid service the entire stay. We were in charge of taking our own trash out which is fine but when we ran out of trash bags we were out of luck. Especially since it happened during the hours that their lobby was closed. Also their lobby hours are between 8 am and 8 pm, I assume most people who are traveling are leaving before 8 am to get on the road or catch a flight, with that said there was no drop box for the physical keys to go in. We had to track down security to hand in our keys. This took 30 minutes out of our time. Had we been trying to catch a flight that could have put us behind. A drop box would be very handy to have.

The rooms were a little small but overall it was great.

I didn't really care for the outdoor furniture, patio furniture would be nice and the bunk beds were not to comfortable but overall it was good.

The front staff lady on Sat night was very ugly/rude. First off Yes she knew that we had just laid my stepson to rest that morning but acted as if i didn't or couldn't read a receipt. The young man helping me check in told me a rate and charge but yet i was charged an extra $100.00.! NO1 could explain to me so here I am saying something and WILL be calling them today.
