On arrival I was greeted by a delightful young lady called Sophie who was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. I had asked for a secure location to store my cycle and this was shown to me straight away and I was given the keys for my room. After check-in and exploring the local area I decided to try the bar meals and was not disappointed at all. My meal was delicious and once again Sophie made sure everything was fine for me. The following morning I arrived in the breakfast room and once again the service I received was outstanding. My room was located at a quiet end of the property overlooking the car park and was just fine. All of the staff I met were indeed exceptionally friendly and helpful.

I don’t think there was much that could have been improved upon.

I have been going To Glastonbury for 2 years while Training as a priestess so every six weeks So I have stayed everywhere and this was the best hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying Staff where amazing Rooms so clean and comfy And had everything I needed including My own iron and ironing board The location was amazing and I absolutely loved it Food was excellent also The only very small problem was parking for residence other than that nothing could of been better Thank you so much and I Know I will stay again without hesitation

Parking

The location is superb for trips to Glastonbury, wells ,Clarkes village. The staff are very friendly Breakfast is delicious. Very good value for money especially for a weekend in the summer. This was a return visit and we will be back again

Room 6 didn't have a mirror in the room , only one in a bathroom which was challenging with 2 ladies getting ready at the same time. The heat in the room was awful but not much the hotel could have done ,we had a fan provided but 30 degree's all weekend outside

An older style property so not one of these ultra modern characterless places. It is ideally situated as you enter the main street in Street so a short walk takes you to some of the eateries. Unfortunately evening meals had been suspended the few nights we were there due to work being done so I can’t comment on the meals. Breakfasts were good though. Service was lovely. Bedroom was slick and span, very clean and we were able to control the temperature. Our room was above the bar area so we could hear the murmur of voices but to be honest it didn’t bother us, and didn’t stop us from falling asleep.

There wasn’t anything not to like, although like I said, it is a mature pub/ b and b and could do with the odd spruce up here and there and this is reflected in the price but we were very comfortable.

The food was exceptional. We had some of the tapas..the garlic mushrooms and the cod croquettas were amazing.My husband is catalan so we know this food well. Breakfast was also exceptional, we had the vegetarian one..I would go there just for the food. Also 10/10 Guinness which was also exceptional. Very good location for Strode theatre,10 min walk. 15min walk to the red brick building/old tannery. 10 min walk to Clark's village. Bedroom very comfortable.

Nothing personally but the stairs up to rooms are quite steep if you had mobility issues.

Have stayed a number of times and not found any problems but for this time, we were not able to get the heating to work in the room, the shower out let we feel was blocked so was the washbasin and there were no glasses to have a drink from, I have informed the staff who thanked me , otherwise our stay was as expected, beds very comfortable, tea making equipment was very good with plenty of tea etc in the box. Will be staying there again when I visit the family.

Nothing, the room was quite, clean not too warm but for one night we were able to cope thank you.

What a lovely building in the heart of Street! We had a relaxing room facing the main road which was mainly quiet. The grape vine covered patio leading from the bar to have morning coffee and evening drinks was a bonus. If using Booking,com and you have mobility problems, please enquire direct with the property about a room with a walk in shower. My booking showed a picture of a walk-in shower for my room but it actually had a bath with a shower which would have been very difficult for me to use as it was quite high to climb into and, with no rails to help with balance. A massive thank you to the staff who kindly sorted me out with another room - I was so grateful and lucky they had availability). Breakfast was lovely. I felt I had transported back in time to the 70's where you had a small menu and chose what items you wanted from it. It included fried bread and fritters which you rarely see anymore! Evening meal was lovely too. Bonus was the hotel being dog friendly and that our small dog was able to accompany us in the dining room. Plently of parking. I would have liked to have stayed longer!

Extra pillows would have been nice, but just being picky. The TV reception was poor, and hardly picked up any channels, but it was late so we did not bother complaining. May have been an issue if we were staying longer.

Good location for our stay. Ample parking. Very friendly staff. Public rooms had lots of character and the bar served a decent pint. Breakfast was freshly cooked and of good quality. The room was comfortable and clean. Would happily stay here again.

Our room was clean and comfortable but a bit worn around the edges - some flooring stuck down with tape; a few cracked tiles in the bathroom; toilet roll holder lose. All minor things which didn't distract from our stay.

What a lovely cosy B&B. Me and my partner stayed here for 1 night after visiting cheddar gorge. We also came here with our 2 jack Russell's diesel and roko. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable!! Staff were so friendly and ella/Ellie (sorry couldn't remember your name) behind bar was so kind after we told her about our car trouble. Thank you! If we are ever in need of a place to stay again in the area we will be back! So doggy friendly which we loved!! And the breakfast was amazing!!! Thank you again for a pleasant stay.

That we didn't stay longer

We were warmly welcomed, with a smile. This set the tone for an excellent overnight stay at Mullions 51. Every member of staff was friendly, cheerful and helpful. Our room was available a little bit earlier, so that was a bonus. It was comfortable and immaculately clean, with a super shower and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was delicious and generous. Parking is possible on site. Mullions 51 is a traditional hotel/B&B which offers excellent value for money. We would certainly return and stay here again, when we are next in the area.
