Where do you start? This place is amazing. From the moment you pull up outside the building you will be amazed. This stunning listed building has outdoor space for you to sit and chill either at the front or around the back. The back garden area has lots of very comfortable seating and has a very calming and relaxed vibe. Then you meet the hosts, who are so nice and welcoming, you feel at home straight away. The evening staff member Emma told us all about the history of the building and its owners, and gave us a tour of the whole building. The first room you come to is the dining room, one of the most spectacular rooms I've ever been in. The long table with grand chairs and all the quirky decorations around it is a sight to be seen. Throughout the house, there are ornaments, pictures, books, statues and many more witchy, mythical and magical things. The bedrooms are beautifully done with comfortable beds, large bathroom with shower and bath. There was a fan in the room and a TV. There was a seating area like a living room with a TV and books where you could chill. The kitchen area was full kitted out with kettle, microwave, fridge and iron. I've never felt so comfortable in a B&B before as I have here and I really hope we get the opportunity to stay here again. Thank you so much for our stay.
There wasn't anything I didn't like.

The Covenstead was comfortable and inviting in every way. The rooms and the breakfast space were spacious, luxurious, and filled with interesting artwork. All of the staff made every effort to make us feel at home. There are always snacks in entryway for those of us too busy to eat.Freya, in particular, was a ray of sunshine and always willing to help. I was in Glastonbury for a Reiki training. The supportive environment at the Covenstead helped me focus my attention on the class and have a wonderful experience.

Located right in the middle of town. The place itself is very interesting in the history there. It was a Nunnery at one time. It’s right next to I believe St. Mary’s church. Then a witch bought it and owned it for seven years and decorated it in a very eclectic style which is quite interesting. Emma the manager cook breakfast every morning and it was fantastic. They were super accommodating, allowing me to get in early on the day that I arrived. It was just a great day and I would recommend it to anyone.
There’s really nothing I could say that I didn’t like everything was just fine.

Staff were very welcoming. They also let us know that the room was available earlier than the normal booking time, so we were able to leave our luggage there to enjoy our stay and relax more readily. The room was comfortable, warm and there were many oddities and interesting artifacts to look at in the property. There was a choice of breakfast which was tasty, hot and served at a banquet table with other guests. Location was excellent, you couldn't be nearer all the must go to areas. Thoroughly enjoyed are night stay, wish it could have been longer.
Some people might not like to sit next to other guests for breakfast in the morning, although this was not a problem for us.

Tony, the charismatic Owner of The Covenstead already has a devoted following and stellar Reviews that testify to the magical escape he offers Guests who enter that enchanted wonderland that is The Covenstead. There is simply nowhere like it on Earth and I count myself lucky to have spent time there. In this age of commonplace, corporate hotels, The Covenstead is absolutely unique. It is a treasure-trove of all things Pagan, Peculiar, Witchery and Wonderful on a prodigious scale. Every inch of space is crammed with Fascination. Every room - bedchambers, parlour and dining-salon - is captivating. In sheer contrast to the otherworldly, spellbinding ambiance of The Covenstead, Tony and his Staff are down to earth, warm and welcoming and full of vitality. One of the Pleasures of staying at The Covenstead is being part of The Covenstead Family. Tony and Staff have mastered the art of true hospitality; being friendly and engaging, yet remaining professional and courteous and attending smoothly to all the tasks that ensure a Guest has a wonderful and memorable stay. The breakfasts at Tony's are simply the best I have ever had. The delightful menu of juices, hot drinks, croissants and fruits followed by a perfectly cooked and stylishly presented scrumptious main course is enhanced by the pleasure of all Guests sitting round a long baronial dining-table so they can enjoying socialising. The Covenstead is the sort of place that draws together kindred spirits from across the globe and international travellers are frequent Guests here. It is true that Glastonbury is a place of pilgrimage with Old World and New Age attractions, but it is most often observed by Tony's Guests, that visiting Glastonbury and not staying at The Covenstead would be a somewhat hollow experience. It was a pleasure on this trip, to see Tony, Donna and Beth again and also to meet Emma, the newest recruit who was a joyful, perfect fit with the divinely decadent ethos of The Covenstead.

From the minute I stepped through the door I was enchanted. This is like no other b&b I have ever stayed in. The decor is absolutely beautiful. The staff were so lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. It’s rare that you want to spend so much time in the place you stay but this is it. It’s so comfortable and so much to see in the house. It has a very welcoming vibe. The breakfast was amazing. I absolutely loved it
Not one thing. In fact I’m planning to go back and stay in a different room as they are all so individual

Emma gave us a very warm welcome, so relaxed and friendly. The place is so well decorated with so many interesting things to look at. We were also allowed to use the dining room in the evening to eat our takeaway. Met 2 other lovely couples and we all had a great evening, chatting with other people who love Glastonbury. My friend and I had a huge room with 2 double beds, so comfortable. Perfect bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast was exceptional, so good I could have eaten it again 😋. Met Tony the owner and he was very friendly too. The morning waitress was lovely too. Such a wonderful and memorable stay, can't wait to stay again 😁, thank you so much

We had one of the uppermost rooms which came with a little kitchenette and lounge area…very handy for chilling Prosecco. Lovely comfortable bed. The location is perfect for exploring all of Glastonbury and the house itself is a masterpiece of decoration on the esoteric theme. I especially liked the selection of tarot cards to use (some I’d never seen before). The breakfast was exceptionally good.
The only possible thing I can comment on was that the water in the shower was slightly too hot (yes I know, a rare sort of complaint).

What is not to LOVE about The Covenstead - it’s full of character, charm and eclectic beauty! Tony and his team always go above and beyond to make your stay exceptional. The breakfast is always sumptuous, plenty of delicious options (you won’t go hungry). Pristine bedroom and bathroom, with tea and coffee making facilities. The shared spaces are gorgeous, I especially enjoyed accessing the garden area in the evening. Thank you again for a magnificent stay, I can’t wait to see you all again soon.

Truly Exceptional in every aspect and more like a five star hotel as this is not your average B&B by far ! The most beautiful décor the most comfortable beds, stunning home cooked breakfasts with the most amazing & hospitable staff. I can honestly say that this is the very finest B&B ever with top marks for cleanliness and a super relaxing and peaceful ambience on top. Thank you so much to all the team ... I will be back xxx
