We wanted a property near to many attractions and with a little bonus of a four poster bed and jacuzzi bath.

The room we had was as advertised so no complaints, but and this is a personal but as I never pull my curtains/blinds in the bedroom. The room has 2 windows overlooking the car park, with only a pair of heavy curtains. So to make sure we couldn’t be seen you needed these curtains pulled all the time, which I didn’t like at all. Also the electric car charging stations were outside the windows, each of which have bright lights on top which again led to having the curtains pulled through the night.

The property is nestled in a peaceful village, away from the hustle and bustle—perfect for a relaxing holiday. The tranquil surroundings and lack of crowds made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was exceptional—fresh, delicious, and a great way to start the day. I would highly recommend booking a package that includes breakfast, as it’s definitely worth it. The staff deserve special recognition for their outstanding service. They were respectful, polite, and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. There was ample parking available, which was another great plus. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return for another peaceful getaway.

Showers could be modified and didn't find phone to call the reception.

The room was beautiful 4 poster very comfortable and the bathroom with jacuzzi bath and rainfall shower was very luxurious . Our meal in the restaurant the first evening was delicious and well presented . The lady on reception was lovely and very helpful and friendly and the housekeeping staff were great room was very clean .

There was work going on to improve the property which made sitting outside a little difficult but it was fine and the workmen were very friendly and these things need doing so I suppose mid week is easier for the hotel . Breakfast was ok . Coffee machine was faulty on the second morning but was fixed quickly . The full English was a little on the small side with only one rasher of bacon and tinned mushrooms and the smoked salmon and scrambled egg with toast wasn’t the best as toast wasn’t toasted

We arrived on Friday evening and quite late already to find a restaurant open. Can't thank enough Prashant and the chef for preparing something for us to eat. We we took the choice to stay at Crossways to celebrate my wife's 40th Birthday and enjoy a weekend around Glastonbury and Wells and we are so happy with all we got. On Saturday after a long day off we made the call to stay to have dinner and cocktails and so glad we did. absolutely brilliant PS: across all our stay Prashant have been brilliant looking after us and all the guests as well. He is a genuine individual and his costumer service is absolutely amazing. See you soon! Nelson and Lucilia

The staff are amazing, the rooms spotless, the fit out new and very classy. The beds are comfy, and everything you need is in the room. There is bottled water, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and biscuits on the hospitality tray and an iron, board, and fan if needed. The bathroom has soap, and shampoo and hairdryers are provided. There are sockets with USB's beside the bed as well as light switches. The TV allows you to connect to a mobile device so you can watch what you want on a big screen. The food is superb and I always have my dinner here. It's the best place to eat within a 25-mile radius. They do specially themed food evenings and even have a Nepalese special menu. They cater for meetings, events, and weddings and have a bridal suite with a hot tub and terrace! Lots of free parking with EV chargers and views across open country to Glastonbury Tor.

All staff were helpful and pleasant. Room was completely adequate and comfortable with all the facilities you would expect. Lovely breakfast and a good evening meal, which was value for money. Situate in a lovely quiet village which is worthy of a walk around if you have the time.

Not the hotels fault but they have a policy of accepting pets. For someone who dislikes dogs this can be a downside especially when dogs appear in the restaurant area. Believe it or not not everyone thinks dogs are great. Access to the village is by narrow lanes but the traffic is minimal. This is Somerset however and this is to be expected.

The Breakfast was really good, especially the poached eggs, lovely selection of fruit and cereal variety of coffee and tea available. extensive cooked breakfast menu. I was concerned by the extension lead in the restaurant for the toasters etc, there seems to be a lack of electrical sockets. Our room was a bit on the small side, electric kettle was placed underneath TV which was on the wall, an extension lead was also used for the kettle. we didn't eat dinner at the hotel because we ate out. The menu looked good. it was a comfortable stay very quiet good sleep.

Liked the bedrooms and the breakfast rooms. The location was peaceful and we found it easy to get into Wells which we really enjoyed. Parking was easy and plentiful.

There didn't seem to be enough staff and they were often busy doing more than one job particularly at breakfast. Not having toast made for you with your breakfast was inconvenient even though you could make your own as you were never sure when breakfast would arrive. First breakfast a good size but subsequent breakfasts were small with the last one having very few beans as though they had run out. There were various items at different times missing such as extra knives for toast, small plates again for toast and extra spoons.

The food was very good - Breakfast buffet limited, but acceptable - the cooked food good. Gluten free bread was available.

We had dinner in the hotel - it was my birthday. We gave the order at 7.45 and had to wait until after 9 for the food. It was good when we got it, but we were jaded by the wait. The waiting staff were very good but they said there were only two in the kitchen! And the restaurant was busy. The manager came over and gave us free drinks - all the staff very pleasant. My bedroom was excellent, apart from the hand-held shower, which refused to work. It may have been that I didn’t find the correct way to use it? Anyway I reported it so it could be checked.

Hotel is for those who like to be in the middle of nowhere. Restaurant, bar and outdoor space is lovely but unless you're spending your time there the rest of the hotel was basic. We stayed in a Deluxe double and looking at the website we was expecting something more but the room was basic, nice but basic. Nothing Deluxe compared to other hotels at the same price. We got a reasonable rate and if we had to pay close to £200 p.n we would be very disappointed. As I said, Nice modern bar and terrace and very peaceful. Just don't get your hopes up on the Deluxe side....
