Lovely property and the hosts could not have been more accommodating! Great value for money considering it was weekend rates too. We had to ring the hosts in advance to let them know we might get to the property late due to traffic and the lady I spoke to was so kind and made sure to sort everything so we didn’t have to worry or rush to get there! Then in the morning we found there were ponies in the field right behind our rooms! We went out and got to pet them which was such a magical experience! Thank you so much burnt house farm for a great experience!

Carmen and Steve are lovely hosts and communicated well prior and during our stay. They let us check in early, were friendly and made us feel like we were staying at mums. They have a lovely home and although on this occasion we stayed 1 night; we would have happily stayed longer. The rooms are very clean, tidy and have all you need - WiFi, TV, views, parking and peaceful. Delicious breakfast, views and excellent location for Bridgwater carnival and other sites. Happy with The Annex and would stay again (minus the kids as they took our double bed)!

We had a lovely family break staying here , we stayed in the three bedroom and two bedroom cottage on the bank holiday weekend and they were perfect , lovely welcome from Carmen and Steve who were really nice and made sure we had everything we needed , the cottages had everything we needed for our stay to cook and eat and were nice and warm and cosy and comfortable on a rainy weekend , there is a nice patio outside that you can sit and have a cup of tea in the morning with the peaceful countryside all around and listen to the gentle mooing of the cows from a nearby field , it has a nice green space to take the dogs into as well for a toilet break and such a nice picturesque walk into the lovely little village nearby , its a great base to stay to explore somerset with parking , we couldnt have asked for better and would most definately recommend

Beautifully decorated, comfortable and homely. Owners were so helpful and made sure we had everything for a good night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast in the morning.

Compliments to the Chef, Steve, as breakfast over the 7 days was brilliant. Room was very clean and the bed was really comfy, slept like a log. Great shower with very precise controls. Good sized TV on the wall with great Wifi (after we figured we were using the wrong network) The area was very quiet, lots of parking off road. Carmen and Steve were brilliant hosts, could not do enough for us.

very quiet location. no noise from other guests even though we stayed 4 nights. lovely bright room. clean. well stocked. lovely big fresh English breakfast. nothing too much trouble. informative hosts and a nice bunch of guests passing through. home from home atmosphere or like visiting your granny, very pleasant homely place complete with dogs and horses and country views.

Farmhouse annexe and cottages are around a courtyard with idyllic views across the fields all around. The coast and Mendips are great to visit.

Paying extra for each dog staying - should be included in price quoted before booking. Having to bring own bath towels. Also only a teatowel provided in our cottage, so a handtowel and another 2 oven trays would be good for kitchen.

We where going to my friends 60th in Mark. We booked for one night , we arrived sat afternoon host made us feel very welcome Beautiful country side all around ,great views across the levels. Great pub nearby the white horse where they do great food. Slept well and woke to a fantastic cooked breakfast from local farms.l would really recommend this establishment .

Breakfast was a bonus for our guys, the location was quiet, which was perfect as they were working nights. Comfortable, clean rooms. The hosts were extremely proactive and called me as soon as I had booked to discuss access arrangements, accommodating our unusual check-in time. They even made sure the heating was put on so the property was warm for the guys when they arrived early in the morning.

Breakfast was lovely and the owners were very friendly and helped us settled in and feel comfortable. We loved to chat to them in the morning over breakfast, which was very yummy. We appreciated that this was there home we were staying in but the the place is setup very well for guests.

There was some confusion about kids being allowed in the room we had booked. Nothing was obvious to me whilst making the booking so it came as a bit of a shock there would be any sort of issue. There are other rooms that families are welcome in but thankfully our kids behaved and there was no issue. The place has a very relaxed grown up feel so not somewhere interesting for young ones but lovely for country get aways or stop overs whilst traveling.
