The lodge was nicely decorated, modern but cosy. The hot tub and the log burner were definitely the highlights. We had lovely views onto fields with sheep grazing. The beds were comfortable and the lodge was nice and warm. We were able to park right outside our lodge. The late checkout on Sunday was very appreciated.

The decking was a bit slippy (although it had rained a lot, and the signs warned us to be careful). One of the radiators in the lounge was a bit lukewarm (but it didn't matter because the log fire was on). The lane to get to the lodge was quite narrow in places (although it's a rural farm, so we knew what to expect!).

Extremely comfortable! A lovely place to return to after a long day walking and exploring the local area. We loved the fresh eggs for breakfast every morning and the views! The kitchen was very well equipped, beds extremely comfortable, showers very powerful, log burning stove with plenty of kindling, hot tub on the deck, bbq. Excellent base for exploring Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury Tor, Wells, Weston Super Mare, Wookey Hole. What’s not to love! Would definitely return

When your buyer pulls out a few days before exchange you want a bit of cheering up, decided last minute to go away and booked Tor Farm. Not stayed before but it was perfect and ticked every box. We generally only leave a review if it's for somewhere good we have stayed, but there is something about Tor Farm; the quality of the lodge, the professionalism, the welcome and the area itself that exceeds every expectation of self catering and I would honestly rate it 20/20 if the system allowed and we have not thought that way about anywhere else we have stayed on a self catering basis.

Very modern Lodge, peaceful location but close enough to Cheddar and Wells along with lots of other attractions. A very well equipped kitchen, I have to mention the exceptionally quiet washing machine, which is great in an open plan living area. Beds are very comfortable with soft, clean linen and great pillows. Bathrooms are also very clean and modern, the Log burner was great and is made up ready to be lit on arrival, great for those colder nights, although the heating works well enough without it. Overall a fantastic place, and I would not hesitate to recommend it, I would definitely return, although we tend not to go to the same place twice.

Its hard to fault and this is being very picky, but the hot tub was temperamental, and the jets would occasionally pop out, but screwed back in easily enough. The hot tub could also benefit from some sort of pergola or cover over it for when it rains, as we used it even when it was raining to soak the muscles after the long walks over cheddar gorge. Don't let these comments stop you booking though it's a gem of a place.

This was a self-catering lodge. It was immaculately clean. The bed was really comfortable and I slept like a log. The hot tub was easy to access as they'd sunk it into the decking which made it more graceful to get in and out. We didn't use the pool so I can't comment on that, sorry. The weather wasn't great, but you could see the clouds coming in across the beautiful view across the valley so you could judge when to get out of the tub 😉 I would seriously recommend this venue as a place to holiday. We don't have a dog and our lodge was dog free but others on the site are dog friendly (I asked as I want to recommend it to a friend who has dogs)

The WiFi was really poor. You couldn't stream radio or TV, and other Internet usage was patchy. This is not really a criticism, but the local lanes were very narrow and you needed to learn which corners were the most dangerous, and where the best passing places were behind you -- we had to reverse a long way for a man driving a camper van who couldn't reverse 😀

We were expecting great facilities and comfort, from the photos and reviews, but they really don’t show how amazing this place is! The lodge was clean, warm and comfortable. Decorated and furnished to such a high standard, with everything you could possibly need and set in such a picturesque location. The hot tub was amazing!

This really isn’t a criticism, but parking was a little awkward at times and we had to park blocking people in a couple of times

The lodge was immaculate, spacious and modern. It had everything we could need. The late check out on a Sunday is a brilliant idea. I would highly recommend this site and intend to visit again.

If you want a site where you can walk into the village or go to the local pub, this isn't for you. Be aware that it is a single track road to the site. But the owners have no control over this. We managed to get where we wanted to for the weekend.

The piece and quiet, the standard of the cabin. Everything was absolutely lovely. Highly recommend staying here. We are looking to rebook for our honeymoon!

The only niggle we had was the lack of basic things like, salt and pepper, clothes to wipe down the sides. The master bed was lethal for catching your knees on as the corners are a bit pointy. But thats it. It was absolutely wonderful and we had the best time there.

Spacious and well laid out and well equipped kitchen. Lovely location and views, very peaceful. Very friendly staff/owners. Bed was lovely and comfortable.

A few minor cleanliness issues (coffee table clearly hadn’t been wiped for a while, dust here and there… my partner notices these things!). Hot tub was a bit temperamental, wondered if it might need a service? These are minor niggles and certainly wouldn’t put us off staying again!

Nice, spacious, comfortable. The bed was nice and I slept well. Bbq outside was a decent size. Dish washer and fully equipped kitchen. Hot tub was big and great. Sun loungers, umbrella on the deck and a sun terrace. Can’t go wrong. The price was good for 3 nights as well. Pool on site - we didn’t go to the pool though.

I don’t understand why people these days ask guests to take their trash out. Surely thats why you pay cleaners? Not for me to go sort my rubbish - i can do that at home. That’s the only reason I’m marking this property down. Another thing i found odd - though im not taking points off for… the door to the second bedroom was locked (we only paid for 2 people). Good thing we didn’t tell our friends we are going away, otherwise we would have ended up with guests not having where to sleep lol. Last, be careful with the bed frame. It has sharp-ish edges that my boyfriend kept banging his legs into.
