A beautiful, comfortable and friendly place to stay in a great location. We discovered and stayed at Worth House in July and loved it so much that we couldn’t wait to be back. We will definitely return to Worth house in the near future as it is a little gem. A huge thank you to Sarah for making our stay at Worth house so enjoyable and for being so knowledgeable about Wells and its surroundings. Thank you also for the delicious breakfast and for being so dog friendly. Muffin was really delighted to be treated to a delicious breakfast sausage and definitely enjoyed all the attention.

Amiable, welcoming host. Brought us a cup of tea in the garden on arrival, which was very much appreciated. Nice touch. Ample onsite parking. Good sized room, with a very comfortable bed and White Company complimentary toiletries. Had a very relaxing night's sleep. Garden rooms have view over field - complete with cows and bunnies. Very clean throughout property. Historic, rustic decor, with a relaxing, cosy vibe.The breakfast - both continental/cooked - was really plentiful, both good quality and tasteful, with a range of options including fruit/yoghourt/croissants and lovely fresh coffee. We loved it.

No internet channels. Normally, we would have gone out for food etc, but on this occassion, we were so tired from travelling and had an early start the next day, we wanted to just chill in our room and watch a film. Wouldn't stop us from recommending however. If available, would have been an extra bonus.

The rooms are on the first and second floor of this old farmhouse and have been fully converted with modern quality fittings. We heard very little noise from other guests, the bed was comfy although we had to peel off the winter quilt at 25 degrees, and breakfast was excellent. The host was charming and helpful. Really enjoyed the eclectic musical and arty feel of the place.

Heaving the cases up two floors was a trial, especially with odd height steps and overhead bulkheads to duck. The large pothole in the entrance was difficult to dodge.

This little B&B is the best find ever. We found it last year and have returned a few times and booked again for later in the year. Its a family home so its full of charm and home comforts. The breakfast is wonderful using local produce. Beds are very comfortable, and Sarah will help with anything else you need, including booking the local restaurants/pubs for supper. Plenty of car parking space on site and a lovely garden to sit in.

Sarah is very welcoming and chatty. She was able to suggest somewhere local to eat in the evening, and then booked for us. We stayed in the Loft Room, its a whole apartment space but without the kitchen. Right at the top of the house, narrow stairs. Very comfortable master bed, and bathroom. Little fridge for fresh milk and any items you need to store. Tea/ coffee making etc. Two little armchairs could have been more comfortable but getting furniture upstairs is difficult. Most furniture has been hand made for the room, and works really well. Fabulous views from the windows. Breakfast very good, with lots of choices. Parking on the grounds.

Delicious breakfast. I'm not into full english, but it looked & smelled v.appetising & my scrambled eggs were great. Tims yogurt a real bonus-what I have at home. Lovely garden. Excellent car parking.

I feel the staircase could benefit from an inner side handrail or rope for folks feeling a bit wobbly on unfamiliar stairs, though the little grab rail at the top helped. The twin room beds have quite slidey duvets which tend to slip around/fall off on a chilly night, but I doubt this can be avoided..

Worth House is the perfect getaway and so peaceful and relaxing. In an incredibly quiet area. Rooms are good sized, exceptionally clean and cosy. Lovely en-suite. Breakfast is home cooked, local and delicious. Sarah is the perfect host and so kind, attentive and makes you feel so looked after. It’s well located to lots of different places of interest so there is lots to do. Loved our stay and will be back again. Thank you!

Loved it all

Sarah has created a really beautiful home from home place to stay and some! We were welcomed warmly at the end of a long day by Sarah whom settled us in. The whole place is super clean. We stayed in the loft which was lovely 😍. The bed was very comfortable, we got a great nights sleep and even the extras were the best quality. The full English for breakfast is highly recommended! The breakfast room was full of well rested happy guests! Thank you Sarah. We shall be back x

stunningly beautiful 400+ year-old home with a warm welcoming environment and hostess. Setting was gorgeous, the house is well equipped and extremely comfortable, and everything was absolutely spotless! Wish we had been able to remain longer!

A friendly welcome to a period house in a quiet location was perfect for our first day of our escape to the country and first night's rest in a comfy bed. The small village setting is ideal and it is conveniently located for access to Wells and Cheddar Gorge. The selection for breakfast was amazing and must be one of the best around - don't forget the lovely jams. The recommended pub, Ring O' Bells Wookey, proved to be bang on for a superb evening meal rounded off with some local Somerset cider, Thatchers. Thank you Sarah
