I had the pleasure of staying at The Langford Inn recently and was so impressed that I returned again just a few days later. The experience was exceptional from start to finish. The staff were incredibly hospitable and welcoming, which made all the difference. Lauren, in particular, went above and beyond, though the whole team was fantastic—even if I can’t recall every name. The rooms were modern, chic, and spacious, offering a great level of comfort. I was welcomed with a complimentary drink on arrival and enjoyed a delicious breakfast the next morning. A lovely touch was finding cookies and a handwritten letter waiting in the room—thoughtful details like these really elevated the stay. Highly recommend, and I’ll certainly be returning again.
Not enough options for vegetarians on the food menu.

We stayed for one night in the family room while en route back to Manchester after a week in Cornwall. We had a great experience. Its a beautiful location and lovely old building with heaps of character . We found the staff very welcoming and attentive. The two girls working the evening and morning were so friendly and really made the experience feel special. The room itself was very comfortable, lovely big bed and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was delicious. Would we would stay again and will definitely recommend.
Nothing really. The only very minor drawback was that on booking.com the room was listed as having a refrigerator however there wasn't one. This is understandable for a pub however it meant some food we'd been travelling with went off and had to be thrown away. So would be good just to update this info on booking.com.

I recently stayed at The Langford Inn and had such a great experience. The decor and the building itself are absolutely beautiful—full of character but finished to a really high standard. The food was a real highlight—plenty of choice for both the evening meal and breakfast, and everything we had was really tasty. It felt like proper, well-thought-out pub dining with quality ingredients. My room was comfortable, with a huge bathroom and lovely toiletries provided. The bed was super comfortable, and there were some really thoughtful touches—like the Roberts radio, good coffee and tea facilities, and bottled water on arrival, which made the stay feel a bit more special. I’d happily return and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a charming country pub stay with great food and attention to detail.
The only downside was that the bedside tables were a little dusty, and the room (Rowberrow) housed the hot water tank, which made it quite warm. There was an air-conditioning unit which helped, but it was a bit noisy when running. Not a major issue, but if you’re sensitive to heat or noise, it might be worth requesting a different room.

The room was indeed cozy, and the facilities were exceptionally clean. The staff members were remarkably friendly, exuding warmth and comfort. They made us feel genuinely welcome and were incredibly helpful. The breakfast was absolutely delightful and very tasty.
The room had a slight humidity issue, there was a noticeable odor and the dehumidifier in the room was rather noisy. Regrettably, the hotel was at full capacity, so we were unable to be relocated to a different room. Additionally, there were wild animals running around on the roof at night which repeatedly disrupted our sleep.

Beautiful decor, lovely pub and dinner.
The shower hadn't been cleaned we noticed! We were on a really early flight so didn't use it but if we had we would have asked for it to be cleaned. Our biggest issue was the breakfast to go was forgotten!! We left at 3:30 am having been promised the night before it would be delivered to our room that evening, we waited up for ages and decided perhaps it would be left on the door as suggested so we went to sleep, but in the morning nothing was there. Very disappointed, it spoilt our stay I'm afraid.

Our flight from Bristol Airport was around midday so we travelled from Cornwall and spent the night before here. We were welcomed warmly on arrival and later in the early evening we were given complimentary welcoming glass of wine. The room was comfortable with well thought out facilities. Parking was free and near the room (our room was just across the courtyard but there were other rooms in the main building). We reserved a table for dinner later that evening and the food was brilliant and the atmosphere friendly and busy. The staff cannot be faulted. We slept well and the breakfast the next morning was excellent. I realised that our boarding passes had not been printed properly at home and the staff rallied round and helped me to reprint them. Nothing was too much trouble. We shall return.
A minor dislike was that the main light in the bedroom was shaded so that light was not as bright as we are used to - but others might like this.

Staff very friendly and welcoming; bedroom very well designed, apart from the ongoing hotel fetish for multiple cushions, bathroom huge. Had dinner alone but dining tables widely spaced and well positioned, I never felt - on a very busy night - that as a single diner I was just an added extra, and the service was outstanding.
My only quibble was the lack of a shower mat in the shower: as part of a more aged demographic the shower base felt slippery so that I ended up placing the bath mat in the shower. A small detail that would be much appreciated by fellow wrinklies.

Excellent Inn for a stay before flying out of Bristol airport, what a great way to start our holiday! The room was lovely with an excellent bathroom/ shower, we had dinner and breakfast - great food and a real treat. The staff are attentive and friendly and we felt very well looked after, especially by Jack who is a real asset to the team. We parked our car at a farm in the village who do airport parking/transfers, so convenient and a great service - www.bristolairportparking.uk We will definitely use both of these local businesses again when travelling

Proximity to Bristol Airport, as we were flying the next morning. The evening meal was delicious and accommodation comfortable and warm.
Parking was chaotic, each room appeared to have a parking place outside the door but these were occupied by other visitors, either staying or there for an evening meal. The Roman blind, in the bedroom, was held up by a bulldog clip and there was no milk or cups in the room, we had to ask for these items in the main building. There is clearly a house keeping issue which needs to be addressed in our room.

A beautiful place. It was horse stables converted to accomodation. Each room was different. We stayed in winscombe room. We had an issue with the shower so they put us into the suite for the night so they could fit it. That was fabulous. The staff were top notch really friendly and accommodating. In fact they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Location was great, and breakfast an order system not a buffet. Try their marmite it's home made really tasty! The little touches like giving complementary drinks in the fridge on arrival . Rooms a good size.
Each day a tractor would come along and spray some foul smelling stuff on the paddocks! Nothing to do with accommodation. Menu could be tweaked for dinner. Lighting in room quite dark.
