The property is ideally situated for the airport. The room we had was bijou but totally adequate for an overnight stay. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot, there were tea and coffee facilities and even biccies and chocs! Considering the property is on the flight path into Bristol we were surprised it wasn't noisier.

There is a TINY sign directing you down an equally lane to the property. Absolutely not visible if driving either way along a very busy road. We drove past it 3 times before seeing it. The curtains were a bit thin for the light outside. The owner made us aware upfront that there is no parking, and he wasn't joking, so don't try and bring a car. The rooms are fine for one night stays but if you have a lot of luggage you will have problems storing it. Not an issue for us, but may be for others.

- Easy to find, very close to the airport. - It’s everything you’d want from a pre-flight stay with few frills - a clean room, comfortable bed, small en-suite and that’s about it. But what else would you need for somewhere to stay for a night before an early flight? - Terry checked in with me to confirm the booking on the day and made it very clear how to let myself in and where the room was. - good strong WiFi.

The only downside is because it’s a small property and the rooms are close together, noise carries from the corridor. There was nobody being disruptive, but you could hear them coming and going. It didn’t bother me at all, but for people who are noise sensitive, just bring your earplugs :)

Only 10 mins walk from the airport terminal, so perfect for bed before an early flight. Bed comfy and shower hot and spacious. Tea & coffee & kettle in room, which was clean and nicely furnished. Airport Tavern on other side of road does food for the evening, and cafe's in airport are good for breakfast.

Rooms not the largest so you may struggle if you have a lot of luggage. As it was a bit warm in the room, I had the small windows open - you'll find you can hear the early flights spooling up and taking off, but as I was getting up anyway it wasn't an issue for me.

Excellent location. I stayed here twice before and after going to the airport, once in a double room and once in a single. The walk to the airport was super straightforward and felt safe even though i was alone and it was the early hours of the morning. The rooms themselves were small but clean and cosy and nicely decorated. They provided clear instructions for finding the room and provided a choice of cereals for breakfast. Would definitely recommend though I preferred the single room to the double room.

I found it a little noisy both with planes (though that cant be helped with being so close to the airport) and i could hear other guests. The double room felt very small but was adequate.

Super easy to check in - we arrived late and had instructions on how to get in the room. On the airport bus route which was super convenient - less than 10 mins walk to the airport. Completly fine for what it is, really good value for its proximity to the airport

The reception had a really strong chemical air freshener in which smelt awful. The room wasn't soundproof so we could hear others opening their doors late at night and early in the morning. There was a gap under the door which let light in, and the landing light was left on all night

Excellent location, right next to the airport, easy to walk in just 10mins, as close to the airport as you can get! Good communication from host, check in was easy, bed was comfortable so I slept well, room was cosy and I liked having a kettle and coffee sachets for the morning. Room is quite small but you don’t need much space when only staying one night before a flight. I had a double room in the annexe. Very happy with my choice to stay here, I have stayed in other similar properties near the airport but Hathaway House is the best so far. I would certainly stay here again next time I have an early flight.

The bedding was clean but it didn’t smell totally fresh, the bathmat in the bathroom was dirty. It’s quite expensive for an en-suite room but you are paying for the location, which really is perfect for the airport, and it’s nicer than other properties that I have stayed in close by at a similar price

Hosts were fantastic. Convenient location just off the roundabout to the airport. Simple but cosy room.

Quite noisy, in some parts to no fault of the property. As it was very cold the radiator was on through the night and was quite loud. There was a lot of activity around the property such as motorbikes which made quite a lot of noise. The room was cosy and for the most part comfortable however the mattress was a bit too soft for our liking, and due to the size of the room it was a standard double, which may be fine for some but was a little cramped.

Really helpful owner, we turned up very early due to work on the train line (we didn't. Want to risk missing our flight) so we arrived much earlier than agreed! the host was so helpful , and let us in very early. and was very very nice. We walked to the terminal which is just a gentle 10 min walk, fantastic , we even wheeled a suitcase, which was no problem (we were quoted £25 and £45 by the robbing taxi companies near by) we would definitely stay here again, very convenient, pub over the road does food, so all good, see you again next time.

Fantastic location for the airport, easy to access even arriving late as I did. Lovely cosy cabin room. Basic amenities but clean with lovely water pressure in the shower. Clear instructions in the room on how to check out early

Not Hathway houses fault, but an observation for those who’re arriving late -there are very few late night food options for dinner if you’re after 9pm as the accomodation is a bit outside the city. Best to prepare for this before you arrive

- convenient location, bus stop just outside - good contact with hosts, info provided via text and booking messages - late check-in wasn't a problem - complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits, towels, soap & shampoo - very comfy bed with lots of pillows - the whole place was a quiet space which was respected by all guests

- rooms are a bit small if you're not travelling alone but for a shorter stay it shouldn't be a problem - cleaning person came early and woke me up
