Lovely room. Mistake.with shampoos - but given free parking as ' compensation' ie 2 x conditioners & 1 body cream so no shampoo or shower gell. Also, there was only one dressing gown. We arrived in the early hours, so it was too late to report & make changes - but details like this I think are important & should have been correct. Don't agree with guests paying for parking & I hadn't seen this detail when booking online. Also, they now charge for the shuttle, which I think is relatively new & used to be an important decider where to stay if flying somewhere. Having said all this, the room was really nice, very comfortable & felt new & luxurious. Staff in the morning were very helpful. Night time staff could have been a little more aware - got the feeling he might have been fairly new to the role.

Rooms were very comfortable and the hotel was really nice and modern. Breakfast was of good quality and the location 5 minutes drive from the airport was perfect.

There was confusion about our booking as the front desk don't receive full details of what was booked from booking.com.. for instance we were given a double room and had to go back down to request a twin room. That room was set up for one person so one of us had to use a hand towel. At breakfast I was told that we only had one breakfast included in the room; it was rectified after showing our booking confirmation.

Everything went very well. Arrived after midnight and the night porter/arrival clerk was friendly in his greeting and very efficient. The offer to take the bags to the room was rejected as not necessary but he showed us to the lift. The room was immaculate, spotless and beautiful. Bed very comfortable. Lovely bathroom. Went for breakfast where we were greeted and made very welcome. Loads of choice and the offer to cook anything not already there. My wife took up the offer of scrambled eggs which arrived very quickly. Have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world and have to say this one is outstanding with super staff.

Absolutely nothing. Cannot fault it. Keep it up!

AIRPORT.My granddaughter was travelling alone on her first trip to Iceland where she met her aunt who had travelled from to Iceland from Manchester. . On the return trip, because she landed at 9.30 pm I booked her in to the Holiday Inn Airport hotel and also added a pick up service from the airport which I paid for. Because I was unsure how this worked I emailed at the time of booking and received a return telling me she had to collect her luggage and then phone the hotel and they would pick her up. They then said they did not operate this service after midnight. Fair enough. She landed. at 9.30 and I re-sent the phone number to her messages . She rang in a panic because it would not connect (unobtainable long tone) told her I would ring them on my landline. the same happened. I could not find an alternative number to ring the hotel but luckily she had enough money on her debit card to pay for a taxi. When she arrived they told her they had run out of slots for pickup. I have looked at the information I was given very closely and cannot find anywhere where I was told to pre book a slot so perhaps this needs attending to urgently. However, the least they should do is keep a line open for passengers to be given alternative advice. If I hadn't been available my granddaughter would have panicked and I do not know what she would have done. She was on her own late at night in a city airport unfamiliar to her. HOWEVER, The good thing is that the hotel was excellent facilities and she had a lovely room and thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast next morning so we shall use the hotel again. SUGGEST there should always be a line open for people to talk tp someone in an emergency. Luckily I was at the end of the phone but that might not be the case for everyone.

The staff! They were all so welcoming, friendly and efficient, just lovely. Bedroom was immaculate with view of woodland and the hills beyond. Bed was massive, perfect firmness for me. Bathroom had huge rain shower and really nice toiletries.

The neighbours - it's an airport hotel so you expect people to be up at odd times, but they had their TV on very loud from around 4.15am for a couple of hours whilst they showered, chatted and blow dried their hair 😵‍💫 Our room happened to have an interconnecting door so that possibly led to the noise coming through more than in a normal room.. Extra charges - £15 for car parking, £18 for one breakfast (we didn't bother), £10 single ticket for airport transfer bus.

We had a lovely stay. The hotel has been totally refurbished so everything is new and very clean. The rooms aren't huge but have everything you need for an overnight stay. We had a slight issue at check-in as the sofa bed for our son had not been made up but Debbie the night manager and Alisha the lady from the bar were incredibly kind and helpful and quickly resolved the issue. Similarly the hairdryer in our room didn't work but Debbie solved the issue immediately and was so professional and polite. All of the staff were very polite and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Our flight was delayed and we got to the hotel about 1am..the lady on night duty was so helpful.and friendly. I asked if we could.get some water, she said there was some water in our rooms and then a bit later came to our room with a larger bottle in case we wanted it. There was a kit kat in the room and a little.message on the note pad to welcome us. Just really lovely service. The bed was super comfy and the shower was fabulous.

There was nothing except could.do with a non slip mat for the shower.

The staff were exceptional and incredibly kind to us as we arrived after a very long flight delay. Thank you to Jed (The Handsome) for welcoming us so helpfully. The room was great and the beds were very comfortable. We had an amazing breakfast, thanks to the help and kindness from Rakesh. It was great chatting to him and we wish him the best of luck with his studies. We didn't expect this level of service and were blown away by the high standards. Thank you, all!

Everything was amazing Staff were so so friendly rooms were beautiful beds so comfy, meals were beautiful (but I thought bit expensive) ordered a sandwich for airport the following morning, £12 and £14 really expensive for what they were much cheaper in the airport so don't bother Apart from that every thing was great and would use again

Just the price of the food really Didn't know the prices before hand but afterwards found out the little numbers by each meal were the prices should have shown £ signs not just little numbers

Bliss on arriving - in the middle of the night - to find somewhere to park and to be greeted by a bright person in a bright reception who sorted everything for us. Equal bliss to fall into bed in a pristine room. Breakfast was good. Decaff coffee in the room was much appreciated at 2am!

Access to some food, if only a sandwich, in the middle of the night would have been appreciated especially given this was an airport hotel with 24 hour reception. Odd to have one with the other. Biscuits and a kitkat in the room did help but not quite the same...
