We asked for two rooms close together and the hotel kindly upgraded us to interconnecting rooms. This was much appreciated and really enhanced our stay. The WiFi was fast and reliable. The beds were really comfortable and spacious. Everything was very clean and we enjoyed all the Rituals toiletries. Breakfast was delicious! My children loved the pancakes and Belgian waffles. The Nutella dispenser was a highlight. The location was great for exploring the City and less than 10 minutes walk from Temple Meads station. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful.
The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great. The dinner menu was quite limited.

the location is near to the train station so I could travel around Bristol and go back at the time I like but not worry about the distance from the train station. the hotel is near the park, too. good to had a picnic there. the kids' facilities in the reception are also a game changer. there's play area with books and toys (the XBOX was absolutely phenomenal as the kids love to play with it!)
the sink in the bathroom is a bit clogged when we came in. took some time to drain the water. the TV channel is also a bit out of date. should put smart TV and streaming media as people nowadays not watching live TV anymore.

Good location close to train station Excellent breakfast buffet ( English breakfast) 🍽☕️🍳🥓🍄🟫🧀🍶🍉🍍🍌loved the croissants and waffles so tasty😋 freshly made !🥐🥞🥓🥖 Friendly staff Very clean room and bathroom, clean bedding, clean and quiet corridor , load bath towels, beautiful decor all over the building. Dining area is very plaisant , clean and beautiful. furnitures and lighting are stylish and modern. Will always book my stay at Novotel.
Fridge was too small I didn't get much information about breakfast and lunch service upon my arrival.. No airfreshner in the bathroom, no tooth brush or tooth paste. Small playing area for kids

The room was roomy with a comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities at hand, a carafe was supplied to collect water, the water station was situated just outside the room near the lifts. There was a fair sized fridge in the room. Hotel location was good, we walked to our party venue with ease. Parking was very good and priced accordingly. Breakfast was delicious serving a great variety of foods.
Check in, that’s the only thing that let it down, this particular staff member was unwelcoming, lack of information, not even a smile! All other staff members were courteous and helpful.

The Staff. They were/are brilliant - We have a convention in Bristol every May and for the last few years we have stayed at the Novotel and the staff have always looked after us brilliantly - barring one member by the name of Cedric who was a subject of complaint many times for his rude, arrogant and obnoxious behaviour towards us. However, the other Staff have always been superb - special mention to Sia, Jerry, Serena and Nina/Amina, the best in our eyes. Just to show you how bad Cedric is, we were so pleased to hear he wasn’t working during our Convention as we wouldn’t have to deal with him.. How he got a promotion is beyond us…
Nothing of note

We liked our room and found it very comfortable for our stay. The bed was as we like it, we appreciated having a proper sofa and a little fridge. Everything was clean and the staff we met were lovely. The location was great for anyone requiring Temple Meads Station but also easy walking distance to the harbour area.
We were expecting a walk-in shower (as shown on our booking info), for access reasons for my travel partner. We did manage with care but would obviously be an issue for some with limited mobility. I suggest people double-check on this before arrival if it is an important point; am sure that the hotel will assist.

Luxury stay, affordable. Excellent restaurant & perfection throughout. From arrival, parking, food, room services and perfect everything! Can I say how polite and helpful every single staff member was. I didn't wait at all for anything, not for reception, not for room service, food service, elevators, car park you name it. This made a very smooth, professional booking. Stay and parking that anyone could ask for particularly central Bristol. plenty of parking and disabled parking with easy lifts. Overall amazing a willbe back for leisure rather than buisness next time.
NOTHING!!!

I really liked the room, it was room 102. It was so very quiet, except for some entertainment on New Year's eve which was totally understandable. The room was so comfortable, it had an excellent desk and seated area, it was so comfortable and perfect for my needs. The house cleaning service was very diligent and respectful. I liked the gym, it was well equipped and I liked the guides on the walls. The breakfast service was excellent, such a comfortable eating area. I would like to thank Serena, Sia, Gemma, Michael, Cedric, Marianna, Film, Jess, Olivia, Ray, Freya and Maitri. They were all amazing and very welcoming, it really did feel like my home and safe space for 3 weeks. Thank you so much to you all.

Very friendly staff. We had two dogs with us and they were very helpful and welcoming to them too. Rooms were clean and breakfast was varies and tasty. Enjoyed the location as although it was quiet it was only a short walk to the busier parts of Bristol.
Very good location but just a shame it's within the the Bristol clean air zone which meant we paid and extra £18 (£9x2days) for an overnight stay. Not something I was aware of before booking but |I don't think it would have let it put me off knowing how good the hotel was.
