I just got back from a one night stay at this hotel. The reviews on here are so accurate. I like the check in they send you by email the day before check in / or once you booked. There is plenty of car parking at this hotel. When I arrived the check in it was so easy I was in my room 5 minuets after arriving. My room was decorated to a very high standard, also the bathroom. Both rooms were very clean. I staid in a single room, it had a nice big window with plenty of nature light. There was a mini bar ( which I did not use, however the prices they were charging were very compatible) The refreshments tray was well stocked with plenty of different tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh milk in a small bottle, also a bottle of water. Breakfast was excellent, as the reviews say on here, I gave 10 out of 10 for breakfast. An order was taken for my hot food, you could help yourself to freshly warm cooked pastries, a good selection of cereals and fruit juices. I would definitely stay here again.
Nothing, I had a great stay.

All the facilities were very good, as expected. Great location. Clean and well maintained
When I made the booking through ‘Booking.com’ I specifically asked for a ‘dog friendly’ room and I considered I had paid for one? On arrival, the property did not have any indication that we were bringing the dog. (Even though I had sent an email a couple of weeks in advance) The manager had no idea we had booked for the dog, this could have been a real problem if a dog friendly room was not available! The dog did not have a ‘welcome pack’ or facilities provided for him, as stated in the hotel details.

Great staff . Food was lovely. We had an evening meal & full english breakfast and both were really tasty and well presented. Nice village pub. In the room, it was clean, fresh ,crisp white bedding. Nice choice of nibbles (Payable) and information . Water & tea & coffee.
The room was a little warm. They had provided a fan which really helped. The shower valve needs looking at. Its really stiff, to the point it bruised my husbands finger as he tried to turn it and you have to turn it all the way around to get any warm water. Also issue with the drainage from the tray, super slow, so you need to be super quick with your shower or it overflows.

I didn't have breakfast, so can't comment. Unfortunately, there were no milk pods with the coffee-making facilities in the room which I didn't notice until I came to make the coffee when I woke up. I decided to spare the staff the presence of me in my jim-jams and had my coffee black. No great hardship. The shower is a bit blocked, with the tray filling up rather alarmingly. Still, a good way to wash the feet! The room was small, but perfectly formed and well-equipped (subject to the missing milk pods), but I thought rather overpriced. But then I don't know B-on-Sea, and that could be the going rate for the area. So, the main plus point is the staff: very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
Mentioned in the above section, but in a nutshell: price of room/value, lack of milk pods.

the room was very comfortable, plenty of tea, coffee, bottle of water plus a basket of snacks at an additional cost if you wanted them. The bathroom had lovely big fluffy towels and nice quality handwash, shampoo etc . The only downpoint was the cold water tap in the basin didn't work, so I had to clean my teeth in hot water! Everywhere was very clean, and lovely big cushions on the bed. I was a solo traveller, and ate in the pub, but felt comfortable when there. The menu wasn't extensive, and not really to my liking, but I still found something which was tasty.
My room was at the front of the hotel and as it is a main road, there was a lot of noise and at times vibrations, but this certainly did not detract in my having a great night sleep! There were a few areas in the bathroom where the paint was slightly peeling, but this just added to the charm tbh as it was an old building.

Stayed here 9-10 March 24 Room 2 parking was ok because we got here very early but as the evening progressed it was heaving! Obviously a very popular place for locals to eat and drink! Checking in was very friendly. Very nice little comfortable room. Nice bed and pillows. Small shower room only and everything was really spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. Had a great evening meal in the bar all served by really nice charming and friendly staff. After looking round this seaside town and visiting 2 other pubs I’d guess this one is by far the nicest and most popular for sure. Didn’t eat breakfast so can’t comment on that. This is a very nice place to stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends.

Well located for an easy level walk to the town and seafront. Easy to find, a straight run about a mile off the M5. Clean and tidy room in an older building and well serviced. Separate rooms entrance to the side of the pub was useful.
Adequate parking spaces but some could be a bit awkward to manoeuvre into in a larger car, maybe my parking skills.

Breakfast was delicious, and cooked to order, so it's well worth the wait. The evening meal we had was exceptional, the fish and chips, and belly pork were wonderful. Meals were a fair price, for what you get.
The canned music whilst we were having breakfast, session-singers singing 'the greats'. When we went to the bar, on our last evening, for a meal, the noise from other customers was awful, we had to shout to be heard.

Great location. Walking distance to the town centre and beach. The room was clean and spacious with a good size ensuite. Very comfortable bed. Great beer garden and undercover area. We joined in the trivia night which was such fun. Staff were lovely and welcoming.
Unfortunately we were above the kitchen and the extraction fan was very noisy. It did go off around 10-11pm but started around 7ish in the morning.

It was in a good location with plenty of parking. We stayed in room 1. The room was large with a large bathroom.
It was fairly close to the seafront and it wasn’t far from the M5 either. It has a nice bar with a large outdoor area. We had dinner at the pub 1 night and enjoyed the food.
