Great location. Friendly staff. Shout out to Freddie behind the bar who was very helpful. Bar prices were reasonable and the choice of menu at meal times was great. Really appreciated the fan left in our bedroom as it did get hot.
Very clean overall but our room was very small and a little run down. Low water pressure in the bathroom, a broken toilet seat and a bedroom window that only opened fully so couldn't be left open at night. Disappointed at breakfast when two of the items we ordered were not available. Apart from that we loved our stay and would visit again

It was an outstanding accommodation. Room was beautiful, clean, huge bed. The whole hotel, rooms, restaurant and outdoor area are very stylish, every single detail is well thought of, the nautical theme is running across the whole accommodation and restaurant. We could have stayed forever in there, so cosy and relaxing. Our room was cleaned and very beautifully decorated, we had a bath, tea and coffee, minibar, TV, enormous bed. The owner and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was brilliant, we also had few evening meals, and it was a perfection. Parking is big.

This place is lovely and clean, the staff were so accomodating and so helpful. The lady who booked me in and helped me get my luggage from my car, was so so so helpful and lovely. Very accomadating and nothing was too much. All of the staff were so lovely and approachable, it certainly made the atmosphere a lovely one. We ate dinner on site at Rock Salt restaurant. The food was excellent quality, and the portion size were big, I didnt finish my meal. There is a very good variety of different food on the menu. We also had breakfast in the morning, again it was fabulous and portion sizes were big, I struggled to finish my food! The english breakfast was out of this world. The location is perfect for Sand Bay, the sand dunes were lovely for me and my son to explore after breakfast! So peaceful.
The annexe room I had was perfect for the stay, but the mattress was abit softer than I am used to, having said that, I did manage to sleep, so it wasnt an issue really. There were no springs poking or anything like that.

We had 2 rooms to accommodate 3 adults. The room with the Seaview had the obstruction of the roof. The alterative room overlooked the carpark but the view was still pleasant with leafy green trees on the grounds. The rooms were tastefully decorated with a seaside themed , modern design. The food was delicious with high quality ingredients. The staff were friendly and accommodating Special shout out to Julie, Freddie and Ella in the restaurant and Chris? On front desk. Thank you all!
One of the rooms that we were in needed repairs. Door handle the the bathroom, chips at the bottom of the main door and windowsill. However, decore was tastefully considered and beds were comfortable. Plenty of supplies Toilet rolls Beverages Coffee machine Biscuits Toiletries Would rather water for the kettle to be in fridge or have a lid on the bottle

Superb little hotel on a quiet road. Staff were very welcoming and the check in was really easy. The room was clean and I had a great view towards the sea. I had a few drinks and something to eat on the first night and it was all really nice. I sat outside on the patio area and although it's next to the road it was pretty quiet and a good sun trap. The bed was comfy and there was a good shower, TV and wifi. Breakfast was good, offering a full english or continental with a few other options. Nice to see some of the locals coming in for breakfast after a walk down the beach (many with their 4 legged friends). I'll definitely return soon.
The walls are pretty thin so you could hear other guests sometimes and I imagine if it was a busy evening or they had a function on downstairs then you would need to want to be part of it as it would get loud. This wasn't an issue for me when I stayed as it was reasonably quiet both days/nights.

The room was downstairs in the annex and had an entrance hallway with bedroom off one side and bathroom off another. Plenty of space throughout. The bed was very comfortable. It was the ideal location, car park right next to the annex so didn't have far to carry my luggage, didn't need to go in the main building unless I wanted to and directly outside the door was the beach. It was lovely and quiet during my stay, but had the best weather also so was able to cross the road from my door and be stood on the beach. Also, only a short drive in to Weston-Super-Mare.
I find when relaxing in a hotel room, I enjoy having the TV on, but when its so small and in the far corner from the bed, it's almost as if there's no point having it there.

In such a beautiful location just over the road from the beach. Room clean and comfortable. The restaurant is beautifully furnished like a sea shack. The breakfast made from locally sourced ingredients was delicious and the staff were really friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay there again.
Booking email confirmed Check In ended at 9 pm. I was delayed due to car breakdown. Sent a message only to discover when I checked back that the email / messaging via booking.com does not work. Arrived at 11 pm with hotel in darkness and could not find any staff. Phone calls were not picked up. I could hear the phone ringing out in Reception. Eventually managed to resolve & hotel v apologetic, but very concerned there for a while that I would not have a bed for the night.

Clean, nice view, friendly and smiley staff and a well presented bar and restaurant area. Not much not to like tbh... A really nice breakfast for me too, so I would be very happy to come again.
Uhhhh ... The price between booking online was pretty dramatic. I accidentally booked the wrong day and paid as much for the day I missed as I could have paid for the entire weekend tbh. 140 quid is very expensive for one night and I could have got a 4 star hotel a few beers and a meal for that so I wasn't very keen on forking out that amount of money for a room I didn't use. It would have been nice of them to give me the online price instead of ripping me off to the tune of the full price, so for that reason they don't get top marks

When reading the reviews before we came we couldn't understand why some was so good and others won't. Now we know after our visit. It as LL depends what staff is on. One of the little older local cleaners were so nice Tue and wed , she asked if we needed anything extra above the norm. And each day she refilled the tea and coffee and milks with fresh towels and cleaned the cups and glasses . As we do pay the same each night so I do expect it cleaned every day as it was our first day. Nice to have a fridge in the room with bottle of water . Plus a fan in our room. Also the breakfast was nice . But again depends who was on. Mon and Thurs morning everything was good. .But certain tue morning when asked for poached egg on toast and asked for white bread, he said get your own from the toaster it will come out just two eggs. Certainly not impressed with him. Had to find him to order our breakfast as it was . Then after the teapot was left , we had to find our own cups and milk. Wed was the same with same man , but there was another chap behind the bar, and he was very helpful and got the well built chap to fetch things that he could could get. . But nice options on the menu. But pricey Shout out to the blonde young lady and young dark hair chap sat at the front desk late wed night. Who we had a nice chat with about people leaving their blinds open who was looking out to the sea ... (Haha) Also the tall dark hair cleaner who was there Tue wed morning. So helpful she was.
No unbreakables out the front as it was 26-29 so but if shade was needed there. Also on the stairs behind the stairs doors which were pinned back , I thought it was bit dark behind the door. .I touched and pull down on the top of the carpet , it came to it that it was think dirt and dust behind the stairs doors . The pile was about 2-3 inches tall of dirt and dust behind each door. I didn't think it would stay there long as any staff would have noticed the two piles and been ashamed of it, so it was removed that day. . Also under the glass at the dresser had tea stains under it. So I just lifted it and cleaned it the day we got there. But things were cleaned depends who was on duty.

Love this area and hotel because of it's location - not far from the town centre of Weston Super Mare, and very close to the beach. There's plenty of parking. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is clean, has everything you need, with a huge comfy bed, a fan (it was quite warm) and good selection of beverages and decent sized TV etc. There's plenty of choice for breakfast and the food is good. Great value for money. Would definitely stay there again. Recommended.
In the room we stayed in, the bathroom was a bit tired. Only a little thing, but the breakfast was a little cold.
