Try to stay here as often as I can, first time about a month ago, the cabins are extremely cosy, well equipped heating, extractors, small kitchen well equipped for self catering, small shower room with toilet and basin, bed is very comfortable, mattress and pillows, sofa pulls out to make another double bed (anyone using the sofa bed advised to bring own duvet and pillows) WiFi in the cabins also small decking area outside with bench, right next to a lake, guests I have spoken to have always been friendly and considerate, always very quiet at night I Would highly recommend it to a solo traveller, or couple, small home from home, Personally, I would and could easily live in one of them as it has everything you need 👍

Beautiful grounds Beautiful hut, high quality furnishings Peaceful escape:0) Walking distance to The Healing Weekend festival. Loved ensuite, rather than having to go outside for toilets and shower. Loved internal kitchen with fridge. Fridge so quiet. All self contained, so convenient beautifully done. Has extractor fans for the kitchen and ensuite, so not humid. Thoughtfully done. Think it had USB charging sockets too? Farm shop and cafe fabulous Loved the sheep roaming around. Would have taken part in activities such as canoeing, had we stayed longer, although a bit pricey for us.

Couldn't get the electric hobs working Shower temperamental Couldn't lock door- as only staying for one night and could lock valuables in car, not a real issue. Messaged host, who was lovely and got back to me quickly, saying would fix. :0) Quite expensive per night charge, making it a one nighter for us I guess you are paying for the escape

Apologies, but on one of our three nights a larger party arrived in the lodge opposite and played excessively loud Asian music with an outdoor bbq. We didn’t want to report them but it came close, but other residents on site were also not happy about this as it could be heard across the site for 4 hours. I was feeling unwell that night with migraine and was trying to rest and sleep :/ i I do understand people want to enjoy themselves but need to be considerate of others Maybe there needs to be a polite notice up somewhere although we did read about it . I would not choose Reindeer Walk lodge in busier times due to its location next to the outdoor bar/cafe area and potential noise.

I personally love the cozy, homey feel of the cabin—it instantly puts me at ease. The goat room and the farm around it feel so majestic, making the whole experience unique and serene.

We arrived late at night, but unfortunately, one of the light bulbs caused a circuit issue that cut off all the electricity. We couldn’t reach anyone from the team, which was understandable given that it was Christmas holidays. Luckily, a fellow guest who had stayed at the cabin the previous year helped us locate the fuse box, and we were able to resolve the problem.

Cabin was unreal - so cosy and warm, log burner was amazing. Hot tub was great. Everything was so clean. Staff were friendly and the man at reception let me feed the sheep. Close to Glastonbury and Cheddar Gorge. Can imagine activities would be good but it was too cold so we didn’t do anything. Bar and farm shop were great.

Hard to fault. Bed is quite small and had a footboard so bf was diagonal most nights as too tall. A smart TV would be good with Netflix etc. We bought a laptop so wasn’t an issue as watched stuff on there.

I liked the location and the facilities, really peaceful. The staff were excellent, there was a query with the booking with regards to whether it was pet friendly, we had in fact not booked a pet friendly pod however the staff were really accommodating and allowed us to bring our furry friend. There was also a change to our pod however communication was excellent. We took part in the onsite activities whilst there and our boy thoroughly enjoyed it, the instructor was lovely.

Check in was 4pm and the onsite shop and cafe closed at 4pm which was disappointing as we then had to go elsewhere for dinner.

The pod was lovely. It was well equipped with linen, towels, kitchen equipment etc. and tastefully done. All clean and tidy and looked new! The dog was very happy and it was cosy when it rained in the night and beautiful when we woke to sunshine peeping through the glass door. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful but with a trail by the river and a farm shop and cafe.

A small light would be good in the evening so the main bright lights could be turned off or dimmed, and a peg for my outdoor waterproof would be better than using the only coat hook in the bathroom.

The courtesy call before we arrived was welcome and the check in very simple. The welcome was excellent. The pod was clean and tidy and very comfortable. With everything needed to settle in immediately. The site was very well maintained and peaceful. With a cafe, bar and shop on site with board games, Activities such as archery, hatchet throwing, kayaking and more.

Very clean and very warm - in fact we had to turn off the towel rail it was so warm! But we were very lucky with the weather. Rhiannah on the bar/coffee shop was amazing and so friendly - she really made our stay, chatting very happily to our 3yo! 😊

I thought we had 2 bedrooms but it was in fact 2 beds. Also, the farm shop was a bit disappointing. We were there for a Monday night so perhaps they had sold out after the weekend but we ended up having to order food in which was disappointing as one of the reasons we chose them was we could eat there after a long drive.

The lodge was beautiful, spacious and comfortable for a group of 6. The kitchen area was well equipped and clean on arrival. The beds were very comfortable and an added bonus of having beds made up on arrival. Great to have 2 bathrooms with 2 toilets! The views were stunning and we were lucky with the weather so were able to sit on the veranda area to enjoy the peace and stunning view. We loved seeing the sheep/goats walking around and the friendly cats calling by
