We had a 1 night stop over on the way to Devon. We were very happy for the stay at a reasonable price. We booked a double room with a dog. It was easy check in on a bank holiday. Contactless with staff but easy and convenient. Room was basic but clean with the use of the garden and kitchen. Everything we needed, had a little chat with the manager in the garden who was very pleasant and friendly. Would recommend everything we needed and pet friendly.Also a couple of pubs in a short walking distance Thank you for our nice stay 😀

Absolute joy staying here the room was excatly what we needed extremely comfortable clean spacious TV tea coffee facilities well stocked tray ... The beds what can i say the mattress was so comfortable even better than my own bed you sunk into them pillows were very good quality an amazing sleep i love that you have an entry code to main door and can come and go as you please the owner was so helpful parking is a short distance away and even that isn't an issue i would absolutely recommend this guest house 100% ... So going back perfect night away thankyou 🙂

Nice little room next to the kitchen, was tidy and prepared nicely when I arrived. Great little en suite. Only stayed for one night but would definitely use again if I am this way again. Checked in via messages and the same to check out.

Very nice greeting and very clean. Ideal for bike packing or people on a charity ride etc. Thanks very much for your kindness and good luck for the future.

Maybe get some locks that people could hire and maybe have the bikes under a cover. We are an odd bunch that take a lot of pride in our bikes.

Stayed here a few times to visit events nearby, always very good value + comfortable, and check-in process is simple.

Front room was a bit stuffy, it would be useful to have a fan as can't open window due to noise (not an issue when I've stayed in other rooms). Option for earlier check-in would be nice

The guys there were great even dave the owner went out of his way to help because it was so hot will be going back next year

WiFi wasn’t great but not a big issue as just used my data. What more can you ask for giving the price of £45 a night. 👍

Room is clean and spacious. We've used the kitchen, fridge is shared with other guests and everyone respects each other stuff. Garden is small but lovely. Everything works and room got cleaned daily. Staff was really nice. Rooms have tea and coffee facilities, plus milk is provided and stored in the shared fridge.

Kitchen oven wasn't clean, parking during the day can be an issue as it's residents only and dogs need to stay on leads also in the small garden, which is understandable if there are other guests. Also dogs not allowed on the bed.

The guest house is really nice. The room was spacious and clean. The kitchen has everything you need should you decide to eat in or order take away. There is also a small garden where you can sit or if you are a smoker, you can smoke.

For dogs owner: your pet is not allowed on the bed, thought it was important to share. The kitchen oven was the only thing that needed a good clean. No parking on sight. All park spaces around the area are residents only between 8am and 6pm Monday through Saturday. We were lucky enough to be out and about during those times.
