We had a 1 night stop over on the way to Devon. We were very happy for the stay at a reasonable price. We booked a double room with a dog. It was easy check in on a bank holiday. Contactless with staff but easy and convenient. Room was basic but clean with the use of the garden and kitchen. Everything we needed, had a little chat with the manager in the garden who was very pleasant and friendly. Would recommend everything we needed and pet friendly.Also a couple of pubs in a short walking distance Thank you for our nice stay 😀

There was an incident where the fire alarm was set off at 5am but Dave handled it immediately and the guest was promoted vacated from the premises. Very well handled. The bathroom door in our room didn't shut without causing a loud bang so was worried if caused disturbance in the night

Absolute joy staying here the room was excatly what we needed extremely comfortable clean spacious TV tea coffee facilities well stocked tray ... The beds what can i say the mattress was so comfortable even better than my own bed you sunk into them pillows were very good quality an amazing sleep i love that you have an entry code to main door and can come and go as you please the owner was so helpful parking is a short distance away and even that isn't an issue i would absolutely recommend this guest house 100% ... So going back perfect night away thankyou 🙂

Very good location. Close to where I needed to go. The McMillan Theatre. Very comfy bed. Room far bigger than I needed but did want a private bathroom.

Only problem. I was in a road room. Room 11. The traffic was constant. Probably one of the main routes through Bridgewater. I am a light sleeper and like a window open. It was quite noisy all night. Request a rear room if you like a quieter night.

I only stayed for 1 night as a stop over. It was a nice place to stay. It had everything that it said it had. there was a hand wash basin in the room. The staff where friendly and fast response time.

I had to park quite a long distance away as there was no parking and streets where crowded - I managed to find a parking place near the station. (about 7 mins walk away)

Loved how easy and quick check in was, the rooms are adequate for what was needed, smart tv’s in every room. The hotel is dog friendly which is perfect and great for us.

Shower thermostat was broken and it went from freezing to scalding hot in 25 seconds and did this for the entire time in the shower.

Very basic but had everything you need. Comfy clean beds. Clean room and bathrooms. Excellent price as well

Shame about the not en-suite rooms but I never had to wait so wasn’t really an issue. Also very thin walls and ceilings

Nice little room next to the kitchen, was tidy and prepared nicely when I arrived. Great little en suite. Only stayed for one night but would definitely use again if I am this way again. Checked in via messages and the same to check out.

Very nice greeting and very clean. Ideal for bike packing or people on a charity ride etc. Thanks very much for your kindness and good luck for the future.

Maybe get some locks that people could hire and maybe have the bikes under a cover. We are an odd bunch that take a lot of pride in our bikes.

Stayed here a few times to visit events nearby, always very good value + comfortable, and check-in process is simple.

Front room was a bit stuffy, it would be useful to have a fan as can't open window due to noise (not an issue when I've stayed in other rooms). Option for earlier check-in would be nice
