Tina was so attentive to our stay...even upgrading us to the self contained annex because it wasn't being used! We were even shown the other 2 options in true Bullseye style (here's what you could've won. Lol) and allowed to chose! The annex was military parade standard clean, very cosy and comfortable. The cooked breakfast was superb, with fresh eggs from Tina's own hens. As a side not we had a very pleasant walk along the river to the King Alfred Inn where we received an exceptional meal, before the return walk home.

We received a warm welcome from Tina, the bedroom complete with huge four poster bed was lovely and the bed was comfortable, great country side view out of the window. The grounds were spacious with good secure parking. Great location right by the river and on a good cycle route. Breakfast sat out in the garden watching birds and chickens was great and the food plentiful and very tasty although we did feel guilty about eating the fried egg in front of the tame chickens !

Tina went to so much trouble, even when the sun came out we found breakfast laid outside!. It was a real home from home and well, that bed enabled such a heavenly night's sleep. The view from the bedroom window was lovely and we spotted deer in the field in the evening and again early in the morning. Sparrows abound being well fed by Tina. The chickens roam. Excellent location. We had no idea such a gem was there and we have passed by for many many years visiting relations in Wells and Stratton on the Fosse

Excellent accommodation in a lovely setting. The host made us feel extremely welcome and we enjoyed sitting in her beautiful garden. One outside area looked straight over the river Tone. We had lovely weather so breakfast each morning was served outside. We were treated to ice creams one day when we arrived back early from a day trip which was a lovely gesture. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area. We had our bikes and enjoyed cycling on the Somerset Levels. Some lovely community cafe/grocery shops only a few miles away. The King Alfred pub is within walking distance for an evening meal.

This was the second time of staying here, and I'm sure won't be the last. Tina is a warm, welcoming and lovely host who cooks an absolutely fabulous breakfast to boot! My sister and I shared the twin room and our elderly parents, who hadn't been before, stayed in the ground floor annexe, which perfectly fit their more limited mobility needs. The accommodation is immaculate with tea & coffee facilities provided, very comfortable beds and a lovely outlook. We were very lucky to have glorious weather so enjoyed our brekkie al fresco in the sunshine :) With family friends living in a neighbouring village this will be our first choice for whenever we visit the area - highly recommended! Tina is a great host - friendly and helpful, and cooks an excellent breakfast! We chose the very quiet twin bedded room at the back of the house - warm with deep carpet, views over river from both windows, attractive decoration and well furnished. Large en-suite with good shower. Property is easy to find. Easy parking. Nice garden. We enjoyed the company of the hens and gentle dog. Good meals at King Alfred at Burrowbridge and Royal Oak (community pub) at Stoke St Gregory.

The mattresses didn't quite provide the support we are used to. Short flight of steep stairs to bedroom - we will enquire about staying in the ground floor annex next time. But both not great problems.

Everything about Morland was fabulous. The location was peaceful and scenic, the bedroom was big and the bed super comfy. There were so many thoughtful touches - from fresh milk to Celebrations in the room! Breakfast was fab, and the nicest thing of all was being greeted with a big slice of cheesecake and cup of tea to eat on the decking overlooking the river. So much more than a typical B&B. I loved it.

Surprisingly good twin room. (Better than I was expecting from the pictures.) Sweets and well maintained folder of advice and guides in the room. Quirky decorations (e.g. mouse figures on stairs) Friendly hens and dog. Location next to dyke at back of house with river on other side - reminiscent of the more rural parts of Holland. (But in Holland almost everything is neat and tidy - in England the scenery and properties look less maintained.) View across Somerset Levels at breakfast.

Nothing really. However, as it is in "the middle of nowhere" one has to drive along narrow bumpy Somerset Level roads to get to it.

The wonderful friendly atmosphere created by our host Tina. Breakfasts in the garden each day with beautiful views. Wonderfully comfortable beds. Enjoyed being in the countryside amongst the chickens. Tina was happy to cater for our every need and we enjoyed our chats with her. Definitely recommend.

This is a fantastic B&B. Spotlessly clean and quiet, we had a great sleep and a wonderful breakfast outside looking out across the levels. It's a short walk along the river that runs behind the house to the pub for dinner with a wonderful sunset and bats on the way back. I would 100% recommend this as a wonderful place to stay and we will be back again.
