Glad thet had a lift to 3rd floor. Glad thet gave me a sea view and was able to help me to stay in the same room as I booked 2 extra days on top of this one. They smiled at me but didn't speak much. If I needed anything they told me to ask.

When asking them for a shower mat they gave me a second bath towel. English was not too good & when talking with them they didn't understand what I was saying. Very pleasant people but not much conversation. Didn't always see anyone on reception. 1 man waited an hour to see someone. I think on change overs they need more staff.

It's very clean, small single room has a lovely view. Shower was easy to use, hot and clean. Towels and bedding lovely and clean. It's very good value for money if you prefer to eat out and don't need staff assistance. I prefer this. Very quiet hotel, convenient location. I would not recommend for families. Really enjoyed my stay. 😊

Are think stating there is parking is mis leading. The staff also don't speak English so you really need to be happy to work things out for yourself. That suited me fine. The hotel is not expensive and it's perfectly adequate.

It's not bad if the only thing you need is a bed for the night and some easy food before you leave the next morning. This hotel is ok for a cheap last-minute stop over. The bed was comfortable, and the included breakfast was nice, but it's not the kind of place you could comfortably stay longer. The staff are friendly and do their best to be helpful. The hotel is conveniently located by the sea, and not too far from the main attractions. It only takes about 10 minutes to walk to the pier and the seafront shops and restaurants. There is a reasonably priced car park just a couple minutes walk around the corner, which is £7 for 24 hours parking.

Being cheap, the place also feels cheap, a bit grubby, and worn. Unfortunately, they're not very good at washing dishes. A number of items in the dining room were stained and dirty. Dishes still had sauce from what I can only assume was the previous night's dinner. They advertise as having 8 parking spaces, but they're so small and tight that they can realistically only fit a maximum of 3 cars without blocking anyone in or being too close to the next car to be able to open the door.

I love how it was right on the beachfront and we had a Seaview room which was amazing 👏 all the staff was lovely the breakfast was lovely also. Staff couldn't do enough

I didn't like all the previous reviews tbh I was dreading staying here due to the bad reviews the room was spacious we had a sea view family room and breakfast every morning for 2 night for £150 which is an absolute bargain for a family of 4!! The room was clean we was on the seafront and if you've stayed in western before you'll know all the hotels are dated. I don't understand all the bad reviews. If you want 5* pristine room/dining etc go pay the prices for that.

Very pleasant staff, the location was great and the children really enjoyed themselves. At breakfast my children wouldn't eat anything that was offered until the chef offered to make my son cheese on toast.

Cleaning needs to be improved. Our room that was booked had dirty sheets and a dirty towel left on the floor in the bottom of the wardrobe covered in stains. This I reported straight away and we was moved straight away and upgraded which was lovely. But as lovely as the sea view room was the telly didn't work, windows were broken so couldn't close them of a night and being on the front was noisey with wind and cars, bathroom wasn't cleaned very well as empty "female" wrapper left by toilet. My bed clothes had a large stain on but as we had been moved already didnt want to complain again.But overall lovely room with a little tlc needed.

The staff were absolutely amazing. Sofia particularly. The breakfast was good and the coffee delicious. The staff learnt our names and greeted us everyday with smiles. It wasn’t the most expensive but it was definitely worth what we paid.

We stayed 6 days and room was never looked at by staff so by the end we had large amounts of rubbish. We asked for clean towels and few times but these were never forthcoming.

I became ill from radio therapy after a cancer diagnosis I couldn't stay at the hotel due to having to leave for hospital,the gentleman on the desk asked me if I wanted another room kindly but I wasnt well enough to stay,but he was fantastic and sorry i had to leave he offered me another room to stay in but i wasnt well enough thank you for your kindness sir.

Obviously due to not staying I tried to get a refund for exceptional circumstances but the policy stated it wasnt refundable spoke with the manager who was an understanding man but couldn't refund me so it was an expensive hours stay but I understand.

Old school B&B perfect for pre-breakfast seafront walks followed by a generous cooked breakfast. If you are looking to rekindle your childhood, this is the spot. The location is a lovely walk along the seafront and far enough from the centre that you can simply enjoy the sound of the sea. The staff are all incredibly friendly. Lots of the guests during my stay had mobility issues, obviously check with the hotel before you stay, but it seems that they are well prepared in terms of access and parking was available directly in front.

The place isn't modern, but it is priced to reflect this.

We had a twin seafront room, was nice, spacious and bright. Comfy beds. Good warm high power shower. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Free parking on driveway in front of hotel. Good breakfast , and good view of seafront in restaurant. Hotel is a bit dated but clean and good value for what we paid. Has a lift to get to upper floors.

Could do with a new kettle as handle cracked. Would be good to have a full length mirror put in the room.
