Staff were great, our daughter is disabled, requiring oxygen therapy and a feeding pump. Her oxygen supplies were arranged to be there ready in our chalet for when we arrived. Her feeding equipment was delivered to which staff carried it down for us. Any enquiries were sorted, and no matter what help was needed, all staff members were more than happy to help! Not many places these days have a friendly smile and make you feel like a home from home!

We had a couple of ants lodging with us, but it's to be expected with the hot weather. There is a great little shop on site but nothing else without walking 15ish minutes (or over 30 minutes with a bad back like mine)

Warm, helpful, and very accommodating welcome despite our +11pm arrival. The chalet was exceptionally clean, a great sized space with all equipment and accessories we needed to hand. You couldn't tell the chalets accommodated dogs because the high standard of cleanliness was SO good, your cleaners are definite keepers!! We didn't use the bar or cafe as we were visiting with family close by, but they both appeared very nice and the shop was well stocked at reasonable prizes. We loved the close proximity to the beach 😆 and lovely lavender edged green borders. Thank you to all for helping make our stay so enjoyable.

Recycling wasn't clearly labelled for sorting & with new mandates coming in (some areas are live), I guess that's something that will need reviewing & implementing. Our adult children (18 & 22) were alittle uncomfortable on the single beds, but Im guessing they're made for younger lighter children, so we would bring quilts to cushion next time.

The location of the chalet I stayed in was perfect, close to the park, entertainment, swimming pool & shop onsite. It’s opposite the beach so lovely little walk. Entertainment on evenings from kids club up to night entertainment is really good

The booking system for swimming needs to be changed as we couldn’t book at all. I had to speak to the lifeguards to be able to get us in. The chalets wasn’t the cleanest, hot water kept going off after one shower. Hardly any cutlery to cook with, beds are so uncomfortable. Bathroom smelt of sewage.

My favourite place to be. Love the chalet so much room. Close to the beach. Bus ride to Weston-super-Mare is right outside and lovely scenic route. Love that you can get food from the take out cafe on site & take it into the club house to eat. Bingo great.The new out side area is stunning with heaters & TVs to watch the sport..perfect. I just love it here. Won't go anywhere else.

The only downsides for me is the bathroom on the small side but that's just a personal preference. I think a bottle of wine is way over priced. Nice Rose Wine but £21 a bottle is a bit steep for a bottle with 10% abv. Would have been nice to have a bar menu on the table for ppl who don't go to the bar to see what drinks are actually available & prices. The entertainment team I applaud 👏 not an easy job when not many kids in but they did a great job especially kieran, funny entertaining. It is just a shame that people leave straight after the bingo so the room is empty.

Chalet was good sizewise. Liked the grass area outside. Very close to club.

No hooks in bathroom for towels. Bought 2 sticky hooks for the wall. It was smelly urine. Smell bad by loo bought 2 air freshners to put there. The pipework was shoddy and the wall panels very badly fitted. The wardrobe space was non existant not long enough for shirts the hanging space no where for dresses. Bathroom door was very hard to close the hinges appeared to be held on by loose screws

The staff were amazing, Kieron gave 110% to his job. Meg and Damon were really friendly too. Couldn't fault the entertainment team. The lady with mid length blonde hair in the supermarket and prize redemption was really friendly and helpful. The swimming/adventure hunt/pedlerz/laser tag all were free which I thought was amazing and very easy booking system. Outdoor heated terrace great for when with the dog. Plenty of parking. Well stocked shop. I couldn't fault it. Extremely patient security. Did a great job with 2 drunken imbosiles xx

I have mobility issues and it looks like its quite close to the beach. It's through tiny nettled paths and up and over dunes. So drive up the road and walk straight on. Parents who don't keep an eye on babies/young children falling and tripping after repeated calls from staff to keep an eye on their children and keep them off the stage. When I say repeated I mean to the point they were nearly begging them! They are entertainment staff not babysitters! None of that is John Fowlers fault though.

Think you need to provide a mat for shower as we went to buy one as very dangerous underfoot , some areas of chalet need attention dirty curtains, hanging off rails not enough hooks, cobwebs above patio door , few hairs on bedding , overall good value for whatvwecpaid and definitely come again.

Some parents need to keep children supervised especially at night very noisy running around at midnight .

Staff were helpful and efficient on our arrival. Lodge was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Ideal for our Boxer dog also. 5th time here, will be back in September, outdoor seating area by the clubhouse, heating and television outside for sport as dogs not allowed in side, so ideal if you bring your pup. Swimming pool also on site along with well stocked shop and take away food also available.

Going home

The entertainment is great for the kids, good play areas, good bingo sessions, good accommodation for the price too very nice and clean was abit doubtful after some of the reviews but it was really nice.

The cafe is overpriced and the burgers aren't great quality. The drinks are quite pricey too but to be expected. The sauna was off which I was looking forward too and the swimming pool was quite cold my daughter was shivering.

The location was very good directly off a decent road and opposite the dunes and then the beach for walking. The shower water pressure was great. The beds were comfortable. Checking in was easy and staff responded quickly to queries.

The cold water tap were very old/awkward/broken in the kitchen, kettle and microwave were not great and around the skirting boards, shower, and corners in the bathroom the property is showing its age and is very worn out (quite cringey in places).
