The staff were very welcoming and the room was large and comfortable. I was able to use the gym, pool and steam room during my stay, which I enjoyed. My evening meal was a little on the expensive side but was very nice, and breakfast the next morning was varied and plentiful. I'd certainly stay here again.

The steam room is in a peculiar location; after leaving the pool, you have to walk through the gym in your towel. With regards to the room, it could benefit from a little fridge (I brought my own oat milk for drinks) and the TV could do with updating as most folk have smart televisions these days. There wasn't much choice of things to watch. Still, these are only minor negative points, and weren't a major issue.

The whole team was making sure that our stay was brilliant. The gentlemen who is mostly around hotel is the best thing that has happened to this place, if he is manager he should be promoted to general manager but if he is general manager then he should have shares in the hotel. Amanda the lady who was mainly behind reception desk, also has been making sure we had everything. Waiters in the restaurant have been helpful and friendly. So in general the whole team makes this place worth coming back. Last but not least the room service team are great and have attention to detail (please see picture of made up bed for our son) Out stay in North Somerset has been really intensive due to business arrangements and thanks to Webbington hotel staff we had a place to come back to have well deserved rest. Thanks guys !

The property in general it’s dated and not updated. To start with, the pillows are almost non existent and you will get a flat hard bit of material wrapped in pillow case. The carpets are worn with visible holes. Blackout curtains ? What blackout curtains ? Most of the light from outside of premises shines trough old curtains. The swimming pool Water was cold and connection between sauna and steam room its horrible because you have to go trough gym to be in one of the places. Lack of reception in fitness area it’s also confusing. To sum it up, the owners or trust need proper shake up and work around premises has to be done.

Check in could not have been easier. Very friendly staff and very helpful about the local area. We had breakfast every day which was buffet style, but the staff kept all of the items fresh and therefore there was plenty of everything. It was very tasty. We also had dinner there one night which was also very nice. The room was very spacious and the bathroom had everything you needed. The bar area is quite small but does it's job and there is a large sun terrace with plenty of seating for you to enjoy a drink in the sunshine. You can eat out there too if you wish.

It is a little remote and the roads to get there are narrow and winding - but worth the drive.

Excellent breakfast , great accommodation, friendly staff . Only thing that let it down was not the noise from the wedding disco so much but the cackling from all the women out side the wedding venue room. Whilst we wouldn’t dream of spoiling anyones good time and wedding I did think it was a bit selfish towards the other guests at the hotel .

If people could be mindful of others and just how loud they were . As staff are not responsible for peoples behaviour but a sign or two to in the courtyard /circulation halls might not go amiss as voices after a few drinks does carry .

Food for evening meal was delicious - so much better than going for pub grub. Breakfast also great lots of choose. I give the food 5 stars. Staff were lovely the receptionist was most helpful, she told us all about the history of the hotel - and even printed for us some pages about the history of the hotel and area - please let her know how lovely and welcoming she was. Loved being able to use the swimming as a guest, the pool is lovely.

My dad is in his 80's and suffers with Parkinsons, he found getting in and out of the bath to shower hazardous - very slippery and no hand grabs to get hold off on the sides of the bath. He could of had a serious accident.

I stayed here for a stopover on my way from Cornwall to London. I loved the property - the overtones of an old stately house turned into a hotel. The pool is excellent with the sunlight streaming over it in the early evening. All the staff were super-friendly and helpful. I had a lovely drink and a meal in the bar and as a solo traveller it felt really laid back and I felt comfortable dining alone. The room (111) was spacious and quiet. I would definitely come back next time I’m travelling through.

The only drawback is it’s near a busy road (M5 I think?) and you can hear the traffic. It didn’t bother me though. The spa facilities are oddly configured and you have to walk from the pool to the sauna/steam rooms via the gym.

Ended up staying 5 nights the first room was put into was tired and I arrived 1 am and was a party going on and was in a block across from main hotel and room although clean was a bit smelly and tired, However next day they moved me to similar room that was clean and functional, Gym was old but again functional Breakfast was very good and I had 2 evening meals again that were good When I saw what my company had paid, think it’s definitely good value for money and all staff were nice

Found the location bit in the middle of 'nowhere' around country lanes, but was near, Weston S-Mare, Wells and Cheddar Gorge BUT you needed a car. Liked the layout of Hotel, menu was good, not particularly cheap but food hot and well presented. Breakfast 1st Morning Thurs 13th, bit of shambles. Come Saturday am and Dominika and 'girls' well sorted and very much on it, no inane 'chit chat' got on with the job, VERY professional. Swimming pool and spa area very good, staff very friendly and helpful. Lady on duty Saturday am was very good. (cant remember name).

NO LIFT, missed that!! Did get help carrying bags up to 3rd floor. Not great view out of window, overlooking back of main hotel, old roofs and back service area. Some areas bit tired and run down.

Out of the way and fairly quiet. Nice walks nearby. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Bar food was very good. I should think on a nice day it would be great sitting outdoors.

Quite a long trip from the motorway and getting back onto motorway is not easy if you're going north. Bit of a rabbit Warren but found my way eventually. Single room is exceptionally small. WiFi is slow and patchy. Too much personal information required to sign in. Breakfast was OK but not outstanding. Sausages and bacon were very low quality for the £15. Local produce would be better quality.

When we arrived there was a very friendly young man on the reception desk who was very informative, polite & thoughtful. He asked us if we were going to use the leisure facilities (as you need to book the pool) and I told him not this time due to my hip & my husband has hurt his ankle, we were given our key card and set off to find our room. Then the man from reception came running after us and offered us another room nearer the main hotel with less stairs, we were really impressed with how he had thought about my comment, a very good example of customer care. Our room was a family room, spotlessly clean, inners on the pillows & mattress cover with fresh cotton sheets. Lots of channels on the TV & a varied choice of teas, coffees & hot chocolate with packets of biscuits. Toilet facilities were clean & fully stocked of towels & toilet paper. We ate in the bar and was greeted by a very friendly chatty barmaid, she was informative and was happy to chat about the building and its history and informed us there was an information sheet available at the reception on the history of the building, that was a good read. Food was excellent, we chose the BLT ciabatta , onion rings & a side order of chips. Good price, well presented & definitely filled us up. We went down for breakfast about 8.30am, breakfast was explained that it was a buffet style and we chose where we wanted to sit. The buffet was the normal bacon, mushrooms, beans, sausages, fried bread, tomatoes & scrambled bread, had a nice selection of cereals with fruit or prunes & pastries, with your toast you had a choice of jams & marmite. Tea, coffee & juices were also available. There were alternatives that you could order like smoked haddock, fried & poached eggs etc. Free WiFi was great & happy with free parking too. Excellent experience down to amazing staff & good facilities.

This is only personal preference & that was that there was no hand soap in the bathroom and altho my husband loved the breakfast I wasn't impressed with the Scrambled egg as it was a solid lump and we had to sort of slice the egg, the mushrooms didn't taste very nice which I personally think they were in brine, but I might be wrong. These things certainly did not ruin my stay and hasn't put me off staying again.
