The staff at the Crown Hotel are really amazing, professional and courteous. As a solo traveler, it was nice to be back and to be remembered by staff and to have pleasant interactions. The place is phenomenal, clean, the best location you can get in Glastonbury right on the square, and the food was absolutely delicious. The chef that was there while I stayed was amazing, for both dinner and breakfast. The room was perfect too, a nice view, comfortable bed, tv and great shower. I will be choosing the Crown again for my next Glastonbury excursions, and recommending to friends!

There are quite a lot of stairs, but the staff were kind enough to carry my luggage up when checking in! I would say that one problem I had was that one of the days when I left my towels on the floor of the bathroom to be changed, unfortunately they had not been, so I had to reuse the towels I had left. This only happened once though.

I love this place! I’ve been coming to Glastonbury for the past several years to attend a spiritual gathering and the Crown has gone from “the closest place with a room on the dates I want” to “Ahhh…home again.” I’ve been in both the Dolly Parton room (super comfy to lay my head those soft pillows) and most recently the Bob Marley room (chill vibe, slightly better for longer stays like mine). The food continues to be top notch. Fair warning-if you’re in the higher floors, the staircase can be really steep.

I wish breakfast started a little earlier. I often have an early event or bus to catch and would love to be able to eat at 7.

Beautiful welcome, amazing room, delicious food. We were completely wow’d by it all.

Ok so we both had high street facing bedrooms. Oh my goodness the noise. Horrendous!! There were musicians in the street literally under our windows on guitars, harmonicas and singing until 02:30. I can’t believe that no one from The Crown pub staff team didn’t say anything; they were there making noise from 10pm. I did gently ask them how long they be there for but they said they’d move on soon….and never did. We all felt wrecked the next day and it ruined our day feeling so shattered from awful sleep.

The hotel is right in the center of all the shops. I walked to all the major attractions like Chalice Well gardens, White Spring and the Tor. The Abbey is also really close. Rooms were clean and a decent size. Looked good and had all amenities I needed. Despite sitting on top of a pub it was quiet and safe. Although I did stay during the week and not the weekend. Staff was really helpful and always kind and welcoming, apologising just for being busy. The outlets also had USB ports which was really handy for European travellers who don't have the same plug. Breakfast was delicious and big portions. Lots of choices.

Bed was pretty small. I travelled alone, but with 2 people it would be very cozy. The window was a little hard to open since one of the cords were broken. Once I got the hang of it, it worked. The doors aren't soundproofed very well, so people coming in or leaving could be heard. Not everyone was considerate of this. Breakfast was after 8, which had me eat fast a few times. Especially when it took a little bit for food to arrive, because it's all made fresh and warm to order.

The hotel was very central at the bottom of the high street within walking distance of Glastonbury Abbey. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The main communal area was a large bar with lots of comfortable tables and chairs with an area off to the side for having breakfast. Meals were very good, mainly Thai and Eastern food. Breakfasts were good with vegan and veggie options. The bedroom was medium size, comfortable and with ensuite shower and toilet and comfortable bed

The only real disadvantage for guest with mobility problems is that the hotel has no lifts. A member of staff did carry my suitcase up to my bedroom on the first floor, but those in wheel chairs couldn't really access bedrooms in this hotel. There was a toilet with disabled access on the ground floor. There was background music in the bar/dining areas but it wasn't too loud and not very intrusive.

The location of the Crown Hotel cannot be beat. In the heart of Glastonbury, anything you could want is at your doorstep. I stayed in the Dolly Parton room which is tucked away toward the back of the hotel. No view from the window but much quieter than if you're on the front side of the property. There were lovely snacks and water waiting for me, which was greatly needed after a long day of train and bus travel. The staff was very kind and my room was clean. The shower was dreamy with great water pressure and shampoo and body wash provided.

The noise level at this hotel can be a challenge because of its central location. I was also a bit disappointed in the breakfast as I've stayed here before and the food wasn't as up to par as I've experienced in the past. This hotel is on the higher end of pricing in Glastonbury and so I often choose other accommodations when possible.

Really lovely place. Welcoming stylish interior. Very friendly and really helpful staff from offering to carry my bags, advise on parking and lending me a phone charger when I brought the wrong plug! Amazing breakfast I stayed two nights so tried the avocado and poached eggs on sour dough and the Crown breakfast. Both excellent. Good coffees too. Friends joined me for an evening meal and we had vegans and meat eaters. Everyone was well catered for with plenty of options and the food was delicious. Friends also came back to join me for breakfast as it was good. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars guys I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Crown and I would definitely stay here again.

The one negative would be my room was right above the high street. Lovely to be so central I could leave the car for my whole stay, but Some late night noise and then the bin men at 5:30am collecting the bottle bins. If you’re a light sleeper take some ear plugs or even better …a great addition to the tea tray in the room would be to provide a of packets of ear plugs that would have done the trick.

The wide bed was very comfortable and the shower lovely. The quirky names for the rooms was fun. The location was absolutely perfect in the centre of the village. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good.

Even though the heating was put on in my single room, the room remained cold. qne there was no view from the window. The washbasin area was rather cramped. It was odd that there was no reception as such. Check-in is done online beforehand and you ask for your key or anything else from someone at the bar.

Staff were really friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for you, even though they have a very busy job and we're doing their best to keep up. The room location was brilliant, decor was good, room size was just about sufficient. Clean sheets and towels all round. Amazing breakfast. Would stay again and thanks to the wonderful staff.

Amy Winehouse room. For the size of the room the price is a bit much, not enough room for storage if you were to stay there more than a couple of nights. Mostly clean, however there was a layer of dust of the little ledge next to the bed. The window blind is mechanical and takes around 5 minutes to fully close and open. Pillows very flat.

Really superb. Great location. Hotel was exactly what we were looking for. Room was great, very clean, big comfy bed, great shower. Hotel staff were really good, including non front of house. We drank in the bar and were oleased to find local beers. We also enjoyed the cocktails. Food was really good (and good value too). Breakfast was included and we both enjoyed it. Thank you for the lovely flowers and card that were in our room on arrival for my wife (to celebrate our anniversary). You have managed to create a modern hotel and bar while remaining in touch with the rest of the town.We definately plan to return.
