Pool and pool bar outstanding. Location was great in thick of everything bit quiet. You had best.of both worlds, one side was on water and exciting and.other was historic. Place smelled great . Would 100% stay again.

The parking metrics were NOT clear. Sign said no parking construction but when I went in they said you can valet which was 50.00 or park yourself across the street. We asked.guy and he said it's free there so we parked . They still charge us 50.00 - The person was not clear on instructions at all. Bar food didn't have ton of choices and was ehhh.

This hotel was the best part of my stay. The valet, off street parking, made feel very comfortable about my vehicle. Lobby is nice with fireplace/fake, nice seating. My room was ready early. The view from my room was fantastic. The hotel is quiet, could not hear doors slamming or street noise. Conveniently located at the end of River Street district. Very safe walking and near trolley pick up.

The breakfast was just okay. I think adding biscuits and gravy would be nice. Eggs were best option, potatoes can't stay anything other than soggy when in warmer baskets. But they did provide tortilla's which was nice to make egg burrito, and even some pulled/BBQ pork. Fresh fruit was good.

Breakfast provided us a variety of choices and was excellent. But I want to compliment the breakfast staff on a job well done. They were attentive and very friendly. I want to pay a particular compliment about Spring. I felt that she was like a part of the family and I enjoyed her enthusiasm and splendid personality. She helped with my brother who is recovering from a stroke and she did so without hesitation or pause. It's that type of service that helps repeat customers. I would gladly visit Homewood Suites again in the future.

The staff at this location were super nice and helpful. It was a pleasure to see such staff and their attentiveness to our needs. Of particular note, were the breakfast staff Sprin and Shahada. These two were over the top in their helpfulness and staying on top of our needs. Additionally, was the Concigree staff, both women were always welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to all that travel to this area.

The only drawback was that there is construction going on in the area and next to this hotel. It was a little inconvenient to not have clear access to the sidewalk.

The Entrance The aroma was beautiful! Front desk pleasure to meet What i loved was an urgent emergency came up first thing that morning. I had to gather myself together and my children and head back home a 4hr drive. I contemplated how things were about to go bc I really needed and had to check out and didn't know how things were going to go. So, make a long story short. I can't remember his name but please look who was running the front desk. He was an Angel....man listen, God always on time. Thank you so much

The hotel was real nice and clean. The rooftop bar had entertainment every night I was there. The bartender was great and made great drinks. The food wasn’t that good.

I didn’t like the fact that there was construction right next door. Instead of getting a city view. I got the construction view. Couldn’t look out the window without seeing a construction worker. Shoes always got dirty from walking outside due to the dust from the construction. Someone should’ve called and inform the guest about the construction or even gave a discount for the inconvenience

The beds were comfortable. The room was clean and great size for 4. The breakfast was good. The rooftop bar was pretty and had drinks and bar food to choose from with live music. The location was amazing and walking distance to everything. View of the river and sunset was beautiful. Cool to see the container ships go by. Enjoyed using the app for room controls, check in and valet.

Construction is happening. Jackhammer started going off above our heads at 8am on a Saturday morning. Valet $45 a night, it was always slammed busy. Ony 2 elevators, constantly packed. Housekeeping didn't clean up room or empty trash. Request for a later check out was given 30 minutes.

Unfortunately, we had to leave unexpectedly due to a sickness back home, so we did not get to enjoy the facilities. We arrived at 1140pm on Sunday night and were met with kindness. The gentleman at the door helped load our bags onto the cart and took them up to our room. The check-in clerk was very nice considering we were late arriving and nearly lost our reservation. We are looking to come back for a redo in 2 weeks. Our room was amazing but the view was of all the construction outside.

There were several things to love about this hotel - the location was wonderful; the complimentary breakfast was one of the best we've ever had; the staff in the breakfast area were amazing, as was Julie on the rtb. The makeup mirror in the vanity area was also a welcome addition.

The balcony door in our room (#604) was damaged prior to our arrival and could not be latched properly- and because we were there during Hurricane Helene (fortunately, just a tropical storm in the Savannah area), the door was sucked in and out all night making quite a racket. There were also several tornado warnings throughout the night, but we never received any notification from the hotel on where we should go. That would have been helpful. The room was nice, but barely big enough for 4 adult travelers. There just wasn't enough storage for clothes, toiletries, luggage, etc. for all of us.

The front desk staff was very friendly , the room was clean and the bed was comfy. The location was nice because it's in the downtown area of the city which made it convenient to shops and restaurants, everything is in walking distance. My daughter and I was 5 minutes late to the ending of breakfast, no one accommodated us, the staff was more so in a hurry to clean up but we did have cereal because it was still available. Lastly. I loved the personal touch with my name on the T.V, as a welcome message.

I thought the layout of the bathroom was very odd but otherwise it was useable.
