The stay was just amazing. We stayed off season in summer and the hotel was quite empty. The food was exceptional, we got two meals a day, which were both amazing. Special thanks to Goga, who was such an amazing restaurant manager. We got to the hotel early and they instantly provided us our room, way before check in time. Also when we left early they packed us a lunch package especially for us. Beka was a great receptionist and made everything possible for us. Thanks again, we will gladly come back.

Read this review, I will summarise everything. All the old reviews are outdated. Hotel is different now. In one word, Wow. After searching for a hotel in Gudauri, I saw this as the best choice. We arrived at 4th of june. It was empty (awesome). It's quite big. Rooms are good with beautiful views and balcony. Looby is very beautiful and cozy. Free sauna and swimming pool. And the best part? Breakfast and dinner. The chef is just different. She is really good. She cooks four cheese pizza and margareta better than Italians !! No joke! It's like a 5 star restaurant. And it's all for free. I haven't seen a hotel like this with this price. Staff is very good. Receptionist speaks English. What a kind person. Very good value for money.

Gudauri is a ski resort. So in summer I think its better to stay in Kazbegi. Although it's still a good town here. 30 min to kazbegi. Relaxing and very good scenery nearby. Plus its better than any hotel in Kazbegi. Only small noise from main street nearby.

The receptionist was so nice and very helpful and accommodating, he showed us all the rooms to choose the best view, the service was great overall. It's my 2nd stay and won't be last.

They built a new hotel right in front of this hotel, which blocks part of the view, and they have construction work going on, which also affects the view with all the trucks. Also the dinner wasn't great but with some feedback it can get better.

Very beautiful nature in the surroundings. The only drawback was the main road in front of our windows, which practically never stops, because the main route to the Russian border passes here.

Breakfast was very limited, without any fruits and vegetables. It was really put together very cheaply.

The breakfast was awesome and a lavish spread, Dinner too was amazing. The location was beautiful and we could get a panoramic view from our balcony of the mountains. Alex the Manager was very helpful, and Iraqli and the Chef attended to us as per our tastes.

The best location to stay in Gadauri. 5min walk to the ski cable car. The staff was amazing. Kudos to Beqa who was really helpful and was very accommodating. Will definitely come back again

The hotel is the one at the back beyond the ski rental. There was no dedicated parking except park where there's space in front of the hotel but that was not very far. The front desk was very helpful. The swimming pool is indoors but not as heated as I liked it to be. Took good 5 mins to adapt to it. The buffet breakfast is decent. The menu for other meals in accessible via QR code and that helped us take our time in choosing what we wanted.

room was smelling of unventilated toilet so we had to open the door to let it breathe. Always made sure to put the toilet cover down and close the toilet door. We checked out at 12 noon so they had no bell boy at the time as check in begins at 2pm the road access is crumbling and pothole ridden. The pool was not as warm as I would've liked, but was usable and I swam for good 30 mins.

I stayed at Carpe Diem Hotel in Gudauri at the beginning of March with my spouse, and it was a truly memorable experience. The location is perfect — right on the slopes — making it extremely convenient for skiing and enjoying the snow without needing to travel far. The rooms were warm, cozy, and clean, with beautiful mountain views that made waking up every morning a treat. The staff was friendly, responsive, and made us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. One of the highlights of our trip was the indoor pool and sauna — after a day out in the cold, relaxing there was absolutely amazing and added a touch of luxury to the experience. The hotel also has a nice après-ski atmosphere in the evenings, with live music or DJs in the lounge area, which we really enjoyed. Breakfast was good, with a mix of local and international options. Overall, Carpe Diem is a great choice if you're visiting Gudauri — whether it's for skiing or just a relaxing winter holiday. Great location, great vibes, and a great stay!

Overall, it's been a good experience, there have just been several niggles. Some people take milk in tea/coffee but no milk was provided in the room. The pool was not warm enough, the poolside loungers needed mattresses, without them they were extremely uncomfortable and the sauna wasn't turned on unless you requested it. The spa should meet expectations when guests come in off the slopes. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the menu extensive, but not everything advertised was available. We were a party of 6 and the ordered meals never came out together: adults generally don't mind waiting, but hungry children can get fractious making the dining experience uncomfortable. Breakfast was extremely good. Staff in all departments were all extremely helpful, polite and friendly. I would like to suggest that there is a bedside lamp at both sides of the bed and the mattresses could have been thicker and more comfortable. There were no instructions on how to use the safe. The hotel is very clean, warm and welcoming. Despite my many criticisms, intended only to help, I would happily return to stay there again.

Location is awesome. Just beside of the hotel, we tried snow jet and tandem paragliding. With dried sauna and swimming pool, we enjoyed the time. The room also very warm. The chassis of windows are very strong and reliable. Perfectly isolated from cold wind. I just woke up because it's too hot. Duplex Family room is very nice to stay for the family.

Breakfast menu is somewhat below my expectation.. Evey ski resort is not operational, The rstaurant should work at least.. There is no option to have a dinner if you don't have a car. Even if ski resort is closed, if the hotel helped me to learn Ski or guide for kids, it would be more better... If you visit in the middle of season, then these concerns will be not yours.
