The staff were really friendly, the rooms were SO comfy, spaciousand immaculately clean ( our even has a bed where you can adjust the firmness!) Shower was nice and powerful too. Breakfast was amazing: every food you would wish for, all well cooked and fresh. We ate at the restaurant, all four of us really enjoyed our meals, desserts and drinks. We didn't have e time to use the wellness area but it looked great. Definitely recommended and we will be back for a visit soon. The proce was extremely good for the experience we had .. thank you !

(+) Location: Very central, within short walking distance to central area, landmarks, and restaurants. (+) Facilities: The room was comfortable, tidy, and modern. (+) Restaurant: The adjacent restaurant is amazing, and definitely worth visiting. Great interior decoration, broad selection of drinks, and very tasty food. (+) Price: Good value for money. In Sweden, you typically pay double for the same quality.

(-) Spa facilities: The spa area is located on the 5th floor, however you need to use the very unclean common elevator or the (also unclean) stairs to go there. Only a bathtub jacuzzi for 4 people, and a sauna room are available. Likely occupied most of the time, at least that was the case during our stay. The view from above is nice nevertheless.

The location is fantastic and it’s a basic, value for money hotel. You get what you pay for. The relaxation area was a really comfort the first day of the stay. The sauna and the jacuzzi didn’t work the second day and there was no notice about it on the door or the floor. Breakfast is good and some of the staff are really great and helpful, others are not interested in the hospitality business and seem totally disinterested. Overall, it’s was a good experience.

Relaxation area didn’t work on one of the days of our stay. We visited at 4:30 pm (very well within the relaxation times).

A peaceful stay for one night with a comfortable bed. Getting to the railway station from the hotel was quick, and views of the rapids are almost next to the hotel. I was especially impressed by the beautiful furniture in the restaurant, which was also used for breakfast. One of the most enjoyable places to have breakfast in my life. Plenty of dishes were available for the breakfast. As a Finn, special thanks from me for the porridge and berries.

The room was in need of surface renovation. The doors had taken damage at some point and the surfaces were also in need of painting. Opening and closing the door of the shower box was quite difficult due to the small side of the bathroom. When I was getting out of the shower, I tried to open the door slowly outwards but it still crashed loudly against the toilet seat. I had to open the door inwards and go through the small space left between the door and the wall.

The rooftop sauna and hot tub were a nice addition, although not the hottest tub or sauna, they were still very relaxing and I appreciated that they were included in the cost of the room rate. My room rate was very affordable, the room was minimal, and there was no window, but the darkness was perfect to sleep in. I enjoyed the restaurant downstairs for dinner; the breakfast had many options to satisfy. I would recommend this hotel for a simple, affordable stay in beautiful Norrkoping.

I found some of the details in the room to be lacking: no fridge or minibar, and the shower pressure was a little bit intense with no way to adjust it. The hair dryer was in sad shape, with duct tape to hold it together and no way to adjust the settings. The lack of a window did make the room very dark without the room key in the card slot to turn the lights on.

The breakfast was fantastic and the room was very spacious.

In Booking.com, the hotel was indicated with parking spaces, but there were none available and you had to park on the street. Unfortunately, we were assured at checkin that we would only have to buy a parking ticket and then be allowed to park in that spot. The next morning we had a parking ticket of 916kr because we apparently parked too close to an intersection (8m instead of 10m from the intersection). Please inform your guests about such problems, especially if you know that the law enforcement agency is very strict!

Clean, new and comfortable hotel in a great central location. The staff were very friendly and accomodating for our late check-in time. The breakfast consisted of high quality cold cuts and also some hot foods. Overall would definitely recommend!

There was music playing until after midnight from what sounded like a neighbouring restaurant or bar which was quite audible from the hotel room so it was difficult to get to sleep until the music stopped.

We booked for one night, because we weren’t sure if we will like Norrköping. The next day we had very good breakfast and decided to stay two more nights and explore the city. The hotel is clean, the stuff is friendly and the location is perfekt! The room we had is big and comfortable. If we visit Norrköping again we will book again the First Hotel Central.

We had the room in the backyard and the windows were facing the Restaurant Wintergarten. We couldn’t open the windows or the curtains. But it was fine, because we were all the time outside, exploring the city.

Nice hotel in the center of town, I walked for about 10-15 minutes from the central train station. The staff was very nice and helpful. They also have wellness, but I forgot to use it. The breakfast was good. The room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean. The also have a restaurant.

I didn't notice anything bad, but I feel this is more like a good 3 star hotel, rather than 4 star.

Breakfast had plenty of choices, warm, fresh, cooked. Rather quiet considering there is a busy pub on the ground floor. Warm and comfortable. Self-check-in and self-check-out are possible, and there is help from the pub staff if the receptionist is already headed home.

Parts of the breakfast room are very dark, and it can get very busy. As in most hotels in the European north, there is no wardrobe to put clothes.
