Beautiful and quiet place just next to a lovely canal. Amazing setting, beautiful little houses. There is absolutely everything you need, and the very friendly hosts thought of many details to make your stay confortable. The toilets and shower are close by. There is a shared fridge and freezer, a microwave and a toaster. Lovely little 'restaurant' where you can have coffee, tea, cakes and I believe some sandwiches. There is even a little room with a flea market! I wasn't sure what to expect when booking last minute, but his clearly was above my expectations. A magical place (for those who love nature and don't need shower etc in their room)!

It’s an absolutely beautiful location. Clean and convenient Awesome for small kids!

Not a lot of bathrooms (only two to share!) leading to a wait in the morning. Good to be prepared for that. We had “Smedjan”, which was a bit tricky since the door did not close easily (it had to be barred from the inside or the outside) and there were cats who really wanted to run inside. If you want a charming place and like cats it’s absolutely great but if you want something convenient Smedjan is not for you.

Amazing place. Located opposite the sluice connecting the lakes. Yachts and even ships pass by the window against the backdrop of the forest. It's quiet all around, fields and forests. I slept well, had good dreams. In my house there was a stove, dishes, a kettle and original furnishings. In a word - a village - chickens, roosters, silence. Toilets are 30 meters away and clean. I would be happy to stay here again.

Wonderful place, but not much to do when it is rainy weather.

My neighbors who were two germans traveling by bicycle from Trelleborg to Stockholm, arrived just a few minutes after me, soaking wet, and they asked for at place to dry their clothes, but that was not a possibility. The place is just beside a bicycle pathway, and therefore I think there should be a place to hang up your wet clothes, for those who comes by bike.

location is beautiful and relaxing. Cabin was clean, beds comfortable and the breakfast was good.

missing bug nets on the windows. not such a minus, just inconvenient but would have preferred hard boiled egg in the breakfast hamper instead of raw ones, having to cook them ourselves in the morning isn’t so practical in the tiny room.

Really nice concept of small houses on the property. Really good decorations inside, they all have a theme. We had the laundry cabin. Unfortunately it rained thought-out our stay. Nothing they could do anything about. I can imagine it's a beautiful place with sunshine!

Idyllic countryside location with rustic style. It was nice to be waken up by the rooster. There was coffee and tea in the room.

Room Verkstat was a bit chilly. There was a small cat door in the door and the heater was not working sufficiently. Maybe not needed if the outdoor temperature is high enough. This room was in the appendix building which usually are not well insulated. The bed covers had some stains.

Amazing nature place, made with love, lots of places to sit outside by the river and chill. Has all essentials.

Very simple but super idyllic country stay. Rustic and lovingly decorated facilities. Tasty breakfast. Beautiful and peaceful nature surroundings.

Clean. Well thought through. Every essential was to be found. Truly a wonderful atmosphere to stay in “Smedjan”. Very authentic.

I wished there was water in the cabin, but, one cannot wish for everything.
