The room we stayed was huge, it had a little kitchen with everything you need, a huge leaving room with sofas and chairs and a big TV, and the bedroom with a great size too. Each room has its own heat pump, which is great for colder days. The staff was amazing, the person I talked to was super nice and gave a lot of tips of what to do in town, where to eat, and what was the best time to go to Mt Cook.

The only thing we didn't like is that the shower is on a bathtub. If you are traveling with kids or elders (like I was), this can be a little dangerous.

Beautiful new renovations with a fully equipped kitchen with clean and a comprehensive set of utensils. The bathroom was luxurious with great eco amenities. We had a wonderful nights stay here and wish that more of our stays were like this during our South Island tour. Friendly and welcoming owners. Highly recommended. Great location for Mount Cook.

We requested 30 mins additional late checkout but unfortunately the cleaners were here so they could not accomodate, but this was understandable. Otherwise faultless.

Rooms are excellent! Well done up, new, thoughtful and clean. The floors are heated!! The rooms are also spacious - we were three of us and had enough space. The property also has laundry facilities. The service staff were warm and patient.

If anything at all, the only drawback is the lack of food options close by. And by close by, I mean right next door. If you drove 3-5 mins there are enough food options

The staff were very helpful. Recommendations for where to eat excellent. Was not expecting that we were actually getting what amounted to a one bedroom apartment, this was a bonus, enjoyed the extra privacy. The facilities and the room, were great, location a short walk form the centre of Twizel, but far enough that it was quiet, and Twizel itself a great place for visiting Mount Cook and surrounding lakes

Nothing really, pretty happy all round. We were travelling on a budget, this hotel good value for price.

The proximity to the pub to watch the All Blacks 😁 The friendly helpful owner. Having a coffee cart across the road. Having the golf course across the road , but sadly closed due to foggy & Hoare frosts. Big spacious bathroom with lots of hot water & great pressure.

Not having a room with a bath, will book next time. Abit chilly in the room, needed to keep heater on full all afternoon & night. In fairness it was - 4 outside.

It has everything you need - comfy bed, heated floor, cooking utensils, electric stove and microwave, coffee machine.

The water in the shower is either too hot or too cold but still the whole experience is perfect. Could be a bit noisy too in the morning when the workers start working / people outside moving around.

Quality of rooms was amazing. Room was equipped with kitchen which was good and close to town restaurants. The staff was amazing, they allowed to check in earlier.

WSeems the room was recently painted and We could smell new paint. Also the checkout time was 10 am. We find that too early. Some lady came knowing out door since we were still in room 10 pass.

Clean, spacious, cooking facilities and equipment provided. Close to town. Bed comfortable. Nice to have a patio area at the back.

Looked a little dated from outside but was fine inside. Outside patio area not separate from other units do not very private. Bath area alittle dated looking with shower over bath, but shower pressure good.

On the outside, the motel looks like it's from the set of an 80s American movie but the room was lovely. I say room, it comprised a well stocked kitchenette (incl fridge), bathroom, living space and separate bedroom. Parking spot outside. Very comfortable, clean and the proprietor at the desk was very helpful and friendly. Gave us a wee bottle of milk too! Excellent location for a short walk to find restaurants, shops etc.

Amazing!! All new renovation with excellent style and calming vibe. Very clean and well appointed. Friendly helpful staff. Nice laundry facilities. Great bathroom with walk in shower, all roomy. Nice little back porch and small garden in back. Convenient to town services. Quiet. Quaint, lovely, small.
