Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable apartment with more space than expected - two bedrooms and a sofa bed. Basic kitchen equipement - kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, crockery, pans. Beds already made up was a huge plus. Plenty of towels (including dish towel), hot water and a bath. Heating was ajustable. Balcony with lovely view. There was a lift. A few minutes walk from the centre of Luz-Saint-Sauveur so no need to take the car for an evening out. Several bars and restaurants.

Parking was at a premium at the weekend. Noise came through the ceiling. Sofa bed could have been more comfortable. One of the cupboard doors didn't work so half the cupboard was out of service. Only one dishwasher tablet was supplied so you need to bring everything else - washing up sponge, liquid, cleaning fluid. No toiletries supplied. No English speaking channels on the TV. Only 4 kitchen chairs and 4 places in the salon area even though the apartment slept 5. Only 4 mugs, glasses and bowls but plenty of plates.

The location is fantastic, situated conveniently close to major attractions and public transport, making it easy to explore the city. The indoor hot water pool was a highlight of my stay. It was well-maintained, and the water temperature was perfect for a relaxing swim after a day of sightseeing. I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms, common areas, and facilities were spotless, which made my stay even more comfortable and enjoyable.

The accommodation is basic but excellent value for money for people who are going to be out all day and mainly want somewhere sleep. Cooking and dining facilities in the accommodation are more than adequate. The location near the centre of Luz-Saint-Sauveur is ideal - within a few minutes walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants, and perfectly located for visiting the best sites in the High Pyrenees. Luz must be one of the best locations in the region for anyone wanting a centre from which to go walking, cycling or simply touring the area by car. The small swimming pool on site was a welcome bonus on hot days. The reception staff were excellent - very friendly, helpful and spoke good English. Responses to a couple of email queries in the weeks before we arrived were prompt and thorough.

There were no disappointments. The website gives detailed information about the facilities available on the site and in the rooms, and the many photos accurately represented these. WYSIWYG.

There is everything you need, little kitchenette, fridge, kettle, important for a family - separate toilet and bathroom, huge balcony. The Residence is located perfectly, a few minutes walk from the village centre, and is very quiet. Big car park is just in front of it. Was very clean. Location is absolutely beautiful and great start for cyclists to do the famous climbs. We would like to thank the staff for all the kind help they gave us with our extra enquiries )))

The breakfast could be better organized. There was no sponges, washing up liquids, bin bags, shower gel, no tea or coffee, nothing for the first night/morning. The bedrooms are tiny.

Nice ski-chalet setup ten minutes walk to the town centre. Good heating. Mountain views. Staff very professional and pleasant.

Fixtures a little run down in general. Dining table plastic topper felt cheap. Bathroom heater didn't work. Central heating control panel display was broken. Toilette exhaust fan fell loose from the wall when control string was pulled. Second bedroom was very small.

Clean and good facilities. Great location and staff helpful and friendly. Especially liked that you could order bakery goods for the following morning.

Minimal cleaning products supplied for a self catering facility. Had a brush, mop and one cloth for washing but nothing else. Cleaning supplies could be bought from reception or supermarket but for a short stay did not need to buy bulk. We We’re happy to clean ourselves but more cleaning supplies would be useful.

Great base for exploring the area. Good self catering facilities and comfy sofa. Balcony with big views. Easy parking and access. Easy 10 minute walk to town with lots of restaurants. Lovely inside/outside pool with no restrictions out of school holidays.

Small double bedroom, but comfortable bed

We enjoyed the views from our balcony and the evening sun on our return from our day trips. The pool and hamam were a great addition to our stay for relaxing after cycling and walking trips

The location of Val de Roland is perfect. This was our first trip out to the Pyrenees, and we couldn't have picked a better spot to start exploring. Since we traveled over a holiday weekend off-season, many businesses were closed i.e. restaurants, shops, and activities. We were just there to explore and hike. The rooms are small apartments, great if you stay for two days to one week or longer. There is a small kitchen, bathroom and we had three beds (2 adults, 2 kids). The balcony in our unit looked out directly to the mountains, it was exactly what we were looking for getting out of the city for a few days. We only saw one woman working the front desk and she was great, despite being on her own she had everything under control and was incredibly nice. We'll definitely return to this location! Val de Roland is within one hour of the Cirque de Gavarnie and another ski town called Cauterets, which is on the way to Pont d'Espagne.

The only disappointment was that the pool and sauna were being serviced during our short stay, but that just got us out to do more activities instead of hanging around in the pool. The staff informed us that the heated pool/sauna would not be available prior to our arrival.

Very well thought out accommodation, comfortable beds, very helpful staff, nice little outdoor area, very clean, friendly atmosphere. Sensitively planned to fit in to the environment.

We didn’t use the pool but wouldn’t have fancied being one of the sixty allowed at a time! We were only two so we’re very comfortable but it would have been cramped for 5.
