it is a beautiful property with beautiful surroundings. The family that owns and runs the cottage is happy to help you with anything you want to do.

It is set in a tranquil location, is spacious with lovely countryside views. It is a period property with modern interiors, tastefully decorated and and very well appointed. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.

The home and surroundings are gorgeous and clean, the breakfast was generous and delicious! this is great for a stay away from the hustle and bustle. Mind the big dogs though!

This will only apply to guests taking a pet or people who don’t love dogs; the owners have 2 very large dogs that roam freely everywhere, and sit in front of the windows of the place looking in. They are very calm and sweet but it made our stay a nightmare as I have a little dog who is anxious unless left alone. One of the dogs terribly wanted to get close to mine so I had my dog barking A LOT of the time, even at 3am as an outdoor noise woke her and she was so on edge. I did mention the two big dogs coming to our side of the house was a difficulty at check in and visibly struggled to hold one of them from coming close to mine but the only suggestion I got was that my dog could be leashed as there was a long leash in the garden we could borrow. I think we did not understand one another and just wished we had been informed prior to the stay as I would have known this wasn’t the right property for us. All in all, it ruined our stay which is a shame. Lastly, the beds are 2 twin and thin mattresses on box beds, I personally found them too soft.
