While located out of the city center, it is not far from a metro station in a safe, less busy area with plenty of stores and restaurants. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was included in my stay. Rooms are not large, but there is air conditioning and plenty of storage. Washers and dryers were available for 2.50 each (card or coin). You can easily purchase detergent at the supermarket next store. Housekeeping was provided every other day.

Be aware that this is a university residence, so nearly everyone there is a young college student. You may feel a bit out of your element if you are older when you are in the minority in the dining area or using the pool. That said, all were very nice and it's not an issue; you likely will spend most of the day in the city.

I enjoyed my stay at Residencia. The staff are experienced, friendly and welcoming and gave us everything we needed. The WiFi is reliable and my room was very clean with a fridge included. We heard no noise from other guests and was able to check in and out late at night to catch early flights from the airport. Our host even offered us a breakfast to go when we checked out at 3am which was a very kind gesture. The place is well located in Barcelona with a 10 minute walk to bus/ metro and shopping area. There is also an affordable supermarket to buy groceries around the corner which saved us money. The breakfast is basic but nice, you get a yoghurt, breakfast sandwich (cheese or meat)/ a pastry and toast included which was plenty for us for a short 3 day trip. Lastly, the pool is very nice and we were sad to miss using it properly as it closes at 8! I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you Residencial for hosting us 🙏

For a longer stay in Barcelona, I would’ve liked some more hot breakfast options would be nice like fried eggs, some vegetables, or protein like beans/ vegetarian sausage for variety.

It's a student dormitory during the school year but it was very nice in there. Better then some hotels I stayed in. AC, fridge in the room, quite tidy, roomservice daily, nice personel. Close to the metro station, very nice and safe location, lots of nice restaurants in 10 mins walking distance (the really nice ones were full in the evening so I recommend to make a reservartion). Carrefour is 2 mins away by walk.

The breakfast was continental which is fine by me but the problem was that they offer mainly a sandwich (called bikini I think) which is meant to be put in a contact grill. The problem is, there is only one contact grill and it takes f-g forever to get your toast ready as there are lots of other ppl. Which may not be seen as a negative by some but it was something that pissed me off everytime right in the morning (yes, I am not a morning person and this didnt help at all :D )

It was as I was expected. Good value for the money. The room was cleaned daily. Easy to reach center with metro. Breakfast was fine (included in the price). The room has shutters for the windows, so you can sleep in complete darkness which I love.

The door closes loudly because the door mechanism does not slow down the door while it is closing. Other guests who wake up very early in the morning may disturb your sleep or you may theirs :) just a small detail.

Lots of things to do (swimming, billiard, table tennis, ...), rooms where clean and staff was friendly and helpful. There's several supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and the metro is only 500m away. Free breakfast, although quality was so-so (in particular the "juices" were just flavoured water).

Toilet didn't have a window or fan, so stayed smelly for a while after one of us used it. Showering was a bit awkward as the shower handle would often fall off its holder. Sink was almost blocked, though that got fixed quickly. A bit distant from the city center, though with a metro pass that's not an issue.

The rooms are clean, functional, and comfortable. Perfect for a great night's sleep with good air-conditioning if you need it. The pool is great and so is the breakfast. The metro is nearby for transport to the city center. The staff were friendly and helpful, also with storing luggage. I enjoyed being away from the overcrowded streets of Barcelona. Enjoy the local vibe without hype. I had a really fun time.

Though not the most obvious location, it is in the university district so there are great little eateries, small shops, and silupermarkets in the neighborhood..

Location and calm. Staff helpful but curt (Catalan character ?) A cold water dispenser in the lobby was an absolute saver.

Place has absolutely no character and zero activity to distinguish it from an airport place where you shower and sleep. Even the TVs in the lobby are turned off, their remotes banished. Breakfast has been trashed before, and now I see justifiably.

It is a cool place located close to María Cristina subway station. Although it is a student residence, there are some places for travelers like me who need to spend 1-2 nights in that area of the city. The room is nice, with fridge and A/C, and the staff is great. They allowed me to stay in the common areas (living room) while waiting for my train. The breakfast is also very good. I enjoy my stay!

Room and facilitiy is clean and well maintained overall. Staff was nice. Location-wise, it is 30 mins travel from center-center. I liked it a lot as I prefer to stay in quiet area, but if you prefer proximity from main tourist attraction, this is not the place.

Located in a quiet area of Barcelona, but very close to the metro station Maria Cristina. The rooms are small, but with AC, a comfortable bed and a big desk. The breakfast is simple, but enough for a good start into the day. The staff is very friendly. Very good value for money.

My room was not completely clean when I arrived, there was leftover food under the bed.
