Resort and staff was great. Excellent food available almost 24/7. Shuttle service to various areas of the resort was great. Ongoing entertainment if you wish to participate. No end to the booze if that's your thing but very little drunkenness evident.

Quite a ways from the Cancun airport, so fairly costly for transportation. A dedicated resort shuttle would have been nice to avoid confusion and aggressive taxi drivers. Re the airport, avoid buying food or drinks there as it's extremely, outrageously expensive.

Great resort. Lots to do. Friendly staff. Extremely clean. We upgraded our bracelets when we got to the property to have access to all bars, pools, and buffets of all 4 resorts. It was worth the $18/day. Coba does have a beach, but it is a good 10 min walk from this resort, or you could catch the golf cart trains (which were plentiful). The grounds, lobby, and pools were beautiful, with lots of friendly guests. They had a great kids program.

It is frustrating and annoying that the "no saving chairs" policy is not enforced. Premium spaces sat empty in the shade for 3-4+ hours. People would go to the beach and save spots at both the pool and beach, for morning then afternoon. Chairs need to be cleared of towels, if not being used for more than 30 mins. There are enough chairs and shade, if people don't get greedy. The beach is extensive, but a little rocky in areas, however, there are some smaller bays, that were sandy and nice to swim in. Our room had a whirlpool bath, that needed you to step up into, and climb down and out, which was a little tricky, especially when the floor was wet. Not sure about all the rooms, but a walk in shower would have been better.

Large all inclusive complex with beautiful pools. Very comfortable room. Helpful staff. Nice beach area with small reef close to shore. Amazing food and choice for the number of people catered for. Also very good in al a carte restaurants.

Bit difficult to find info on activities. Didn't have hot water on two occasions in a five night stay!? Not at all convenient for any transport other than expensive taxi. Rooms bit dated.

The entire staff is excellent, the buffets have a wide range of Mexican and International food choices. Breakfast is a huge variety of fresh fruits, veggies, eggs every style. Property is well maintained, and starting renovations- Nightly entertainment is excellent, Sports Bar has a dozen screens- and great bartenders. Karaoke night was fun. Origen stage show is professional, beautiful and a Monday night treat at the Tulum resort. I liked having 3 resorts in one- Coba, Akumal and Tulum- for beaches, and entertainment choices- good shuttle system

Staff is short-staffed in the Coba and Akumal buffet dining rooms. They work so hard and always behind in refilling buffet items because there are so many eaters and not enough people refilling the buffets.

Food was ok. We would have enjoyed more authentic Mexican food though. Location was a little far away from what we wanted to do. We felt that the staff was excellent the buffet staff especially Miguel, we all fell in love with him

Bedding... I wore eye makeup once but found it on several pillow cases and I was alone in my room.

Every employer was amazing .They were very helpful and always had a huge smile on their faces. I’ve never seen such great hospitality no where in the USA or Europe. It was my first time in Mexico and I really enjoyed every single day. This will be our yearly place for vacation. The food was very good. And everything was clean. Highly recommended to my friends and family.

Mosquitoes were very bad. I hope they try to fix that in the near future such as using bug sprays on the resort.

Everything!!! The kids club and family friendliness was impeccable and my daughter loved it. They even had the kids do performance in a legit theater with amazing costumes. The food was delicious with lots of options. The price was unbeatable. And even though it says only beer is unlimited online, that wasn’t the case. You could ask for any cocktail, extra liquor, and anything except a few special drinks all were included. My daughter and family absolutely loved it and plan to return.

Nothing really. You have to take a shuttle to get to the beach but that is really easy.

Excellent location, family oriented resort with water park. Close to the beach with daytime free transportation. Thematic restaurants are good but limited to one dinner every 2 nights stay and demand early reservation (more than 24h in advance, hence needs to be lucky if arriving for a short stay). Free 1h standup paddle or kayak per day, although dependent on weather. Good service, staff in general very friendly and helpful.

Accomodations a bit outdated, could be better. All inclusive food had a lot of variety but not necessary quality, juices did not taste fresh. No elevators, that means hauling baggage up yourself when staying in the 2nd or 3rd floors, if you don't find staff nearby to help or don't have the time to wait for them to arrive (the resort is large and your room might be a good 15-20 min walk to the lobby area, although you can request a ride from the lobby to your building complex/room). Information about thematic restaurants and reservations should be more clear on website/app, or better yet, explained during checkin.

Everything was great. The staff were helpful. Meals were delicious, especially the a la carte restaurants. We would return again without hesitation.

The only small hiccup was that the airconditioning unit was leaking in our first room and the ceiling below it fell down with a huge gush of water in the middle of the first night. This said, the staff resolved the problem as quickly as possible at 1 AM and got us into another room.

food exceptional selection and quality. Best asset/value are the staff...amazing, helpful and friendly. Thank you Andres, Maria and everyone else!!!

resort management...please keep up with repairs, maintenance. There was some rain while we were there and the ceiling in our room and the hall was wet and peeling. That's expected in this climate but needs to be addressed on the ongoing basis. We still would not vacation any other hotel.
