Very nice renovated hotel in 50s scandi style. Really lovely. The family room is great with small kids. The second room is small but fits a bed for two kids. The staff is very friendly and professional and can give good hints. Breakfast was great. Fresh and organic. The homemade organic ice is also fantastic. Dießen as a town is also nice. Restaurants are very close and good quality. The peer is very close to take the boat. Can recommend for staying some days.

Very steep stairs to the rooms might be problematic for some people. The kids loved them. But we had to be very careful.

A wonderful welcome. Nika, was so lovely and really looked after us each morning at breakfast, even presenting me with a candle in a pancake for my birthday and helped my daughter on law with ice pack after she had been bitten by an insect. We had a wonderful time a this comfortable hotel and hopefully can return soon.

Room was spotless, cafe where I had breakfast was busy with non guests at 9am, so that says a lot for the place

Nothing, although when I arrived it was one of the nights they didn't do meals there were plenty other places to go. There was however, a wedding party having a meal, the spread looked too good to eat. Congratulations to the bride and groom. Would I stay there again, Yes.

Very nice rooms and comfy bed, nice Café with great breakfast and good coffee in the ground floor. Helpful and friendly service - we'd like to come back 😃

Our only idea for improvement is to find a different solution for the TV. We heard the TV of the neighbours, because it is fixed on the wall. Maybe you can find another solution for this?

Staff sometimes a bit busy, room a bit small, also bathroom - but still nice. just if you travel as a couple avoid having too much luggage ;->

Perfect location and the food was outstanding. The manager went out of his way to make us feel welcomed and gave us local historical details about the area.

Well situated for train station and ferry on the lake. Plenty places to eat nearby, but if you’re staying at the Goldammer you’ve got to the cafe there.
