The staff is very nice. It's a simple place with beautiful old rooms, charming. The food at lunch was better than I would have imagined. I had the ravioli and it was incredible! It's a quiet area up above on the road going to town. Helpful to have a car, but we took Uber.

The wifi connection isn't the greatest. So if you need to be connected for work, try to stay close to the reception, I think wifi is stronger there? Also, there were 3 of us women in a triple room. One of the triple rooms is better for a couple with a child. The other one is better for 3 women. lol My friend stayed in a single room that was beautiful! I will do that next time :)

The gardens and surrounding areas of this place are incredible, even more beautiful than the last time I visited 5 years ago, it's very rustic French, it just oozes charm. The bedrooms are old French, furnished with thought and are stylish, The staff are very pleasant, nothing is too much trouble, we arrived a little early and because our room was ready they let us into it early. The breakfast area again is filled with beautiful flowers, foiliage and herbal plants and everywhere is fragrant from the flowers. The pool area overlooks the valley and is a very tranquil place to either laze around or sit with a drink or a good book. The two resident Retrievers are a lovely touch, such chilled and friendly dogs. They also have an onsite library for guests. The walk up to the Medieval town is around a 10 minutes. Also you can take a bus (655) from the same side of the road of the Hotel to Cagnes Sur Mer (15/20 mins) then jump on the train that runs to Antibes, Juan Le Pins and Cannes etc. I can't rate this place highly enough, this was my 2nd visit and will return for sure. Nothing everything is perfect here

Full of well nourished flowers and fruit trees. Rooms super clean and stylish. Comfortable bed and pillows. Great night sleep in the hills of south France! Super well maintained property. Great view with infinite pool. Family run with two gorgeous and great mannered golden retrievers. Dinner is superb quality and made by the owner lady directly. The prawn with brandy sauce is particularly impressive - simple, fresh and with lasting brandy taste. Breakfast can be served right in front of your room or at the garden. A short walk of 15 mins by the secondary path to St. Paul as suggested by the owner. A very nice back walk. Overall a great experience and highlight of our trip.

Le Hameu is a typical Mas Provençal set in a paradisiac garden, a stone’s throw from the walking gateway into St. Paul de Vence. It really is a “hotel de charme” with it’s charming antique interior design where every ceramic is a chosen one, and that magical boutique hotel feeling where the owners really make you feel special and offer you their kindness and tailored service. The breakfast is excellent, and the pool area is spectacular and relaxing with panoramic views on the surrounding countryside. I warmly recommend staying at Le Hameau!

The place is like a lovely tiny and very quiet village with a beautiful view. The swimming pool is fantastic and always available. Staff is friendly.

Most of the sport machines are not working. There is no fridge in the room and the ants are very good at finding anything you hide. The breakfast comes with options at extra cost, which is fine when you don't eat too much. The dinner possibility is very limited and not flexible but you have the town at walking distance with plenty of restaurants.

This was one of the best accommodations we've ever had. The spacious garden, with a sparkling clean pool and lovely terraces, truly made our vacation feel like a vacation. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and flexible, allowing us to check in early. The breakfast was excellent, and the homemade orange marmalade was absolutely delicious. It's just a pleasant walk to the center of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, and the views along the way are stunning.　Thank you so much.

There is nose candy as well as eye candy everywhere. The jasmine was in full Bloom. Wow. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our beds were comfortable. We had a bath / shower combination. Heaven. There is a hot tub and a pool with an amazing view. For meals, we ate the fixed priced menu the 1st night. It was very good and tasty. This is a moderately priced hotel with outstanding service. The location was perfect for us. Outside the city square, private, with in walking distance. Thank you. B

Unfortunately in order to walk into St Paul de Vence it is necessary to walk a small section on an extremely busy and dangerous road. I felt that this could be solved by the hotel allowing use of the pedestrian gate which is immediately opposite the pedestrian crossing. This unfortunately was not allowed as the gate was permanently locked. I wonder if they could consider an electronic key pad system to this gate so that guests can use it as I fear that someone will eventually get killed walking down the stretch of road from the main gate. It won’t stop me returning as the hotel is beautiful but I feel the need to comment on this in case there are people with children planning to stay.

Loved they had two golden retrievers on property! The location was awesome! A nice quiet spot removed from the busy coastline. Very beautiful property with lovely details. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Loved the drink service poolside!

They only had three seatings available for dinner each night. We were not notified ahead if time of this or I would have made dinner reservations there for a night when I booked.

18 years ago I stayed at Le Hameau with my husband for his 33rd birthday. I was 3 months pregnant with my daughter and now I visited the place again with my daughter. I thought was so nice that the breakfast was exactly the same as it was 18 years ago. The fresh croissants & the fresh orange juice produced in the garden made our second stay as memorable as the 1st one. This time I also got to meet the owners , a superb Italian couple that were very friendly.

I think maybe the owners could think of investing in solar heaters for the pool in order to keep it open all year long and guests could enjoy it in a hot Aprl day as it was when we visited.
