Large and comfortable room. The heating and hot water worked perfectly. Very comfortable bed with good sheets to withstand the cold weather. Good location on the edge of the main road and close to restaurants and a gas station.

The breakfast shocked me because it was eggs in a plastic bag, they were not freshly made. Maybe other people like it or it is normal but not for me. I stayed 3 days so you can imagine the same thing every morning, the same processed egg in a package. The coffee and bread were good.

The price is unbeatable. Not sure what people expect from a 2 star hotel, but the cleanliness level was better than most motels of this caliber.

No bananas or apples at breakfast. I understand that it would probably be a huge loss to them. They are not very busy.

Managers were personable, helpful, and gladly provided local information. The facility is open to pets; pet owners that create trouble for guests are asked to leave in a business-like manner. Good management of the pet privilege!

Breakfast was a little light.

One of the few hotels in Fairplay and the staff was really friendly and had a very cozy feel. Nice real size coffee maker in room.

Bathroom could use upgrading and extra cleaning and TV wasn't working.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean. Bed was comfortable and the price was more reasonable than anywhere else. Continental breakfast included.

Hotel was clean and rooms were comfortable.

Housekeeping came to resupply towels and left our room door opened. Personal items were in the room but luckily nothing was taken. I spoke with front desk about it so they could speak with housekeeping regarding the situation.

beds were very comfortable. Plenty of hot water, breakfast was adequate(fruit, yogurt, bagels, muffins, and cereal). good climate control in rooms. Plenty of parking. Owner allowed us into breakfast room at night to play cards.

The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The breakfast had several choices, which was really nice.

Remove the mold around the bathtub.

The downtown was only about 1/4 mi away. An Asian restaurant next door. Another restaurant down the road. Store and gas close by. Although this is an older hotel, amazingly clean and comfortable.

Very few breakfast choices. If you don't like oatmeal, you're out of luck. The muffins are the unhealthy mass manufactured ones. Toast and cereal, or even just toast, would be a welcomed addition.

Hoss was great- very helpful and accommodating! He also gave us new, super comfy pillows to test out, which were wonderful! The room was clean and location is right next to a couple breweries and restaurants -my friends and I were there to hike and it was a perfect spot to meet up. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.
