We were very positively surprised! To start, the view from our room was beautiful (make sure you wake up for sunset!)! Spacious and clean room in a peaceful area (we were woken up only by the swallows). Big kuddo for the shower, the best pressure and "termales" feeling we had in the country! Convenient restaurant on site, with excellent food including vegetarian options. The garden was gorgeous. We spent a bit of time admiring the nearby wildlife it attracted. We also enjoyed the accessible small trails around. Helpful staff and particularly friendly and accommodating owners.

Not a negative point for the place itself, but be ready to face some narrow and steep roads in the area. We recommend travel while there is light.

The buffet breakfast was not great. Food luke warm and limited choice. There were 2 large tour groups before us so not sure whether that was the cause. But it was a disappointment after the excellent meal the night before.

Thanks a lot, you saved us! After a bad experience with another hotel we booked just before arriving late in the evening, there was no other guests in the lodge so the place was actually closed. But within a few min the owner arrived and gave us a great room (spacious, clean with a beautiful view over the mountains the next morning) and an improvised dinner made by the host himself! The breakfast has been also excellent (including eggs, fruit, local cheese, cake, ...)

Beautiful grounds and fantastic views of the mountains. The rooms are cozy. The staff is super nice and accommodating. On one of the mornings we had to leave very early so they gave us our breakfast to-go the night before.

Small issue, I didn't like the polyester-looking bed covers, I prefer the kind that can be washed every time.

Wonderful suite - great view of the valley from the room. Comfortable bed.

Room a bit cold but when asked for a smaller heater it was fine. Food was pretty bland and not much variety.

Excellent location with beautiful grounds and views--near to where we went paragliding. Huge rooms with wonderful showers (plenty of hot water and good pressure). Refrigerator and microwave in room with dishes, mugs, coffee maker and hot pot. Balcony was nice. Owners were very friendly and welcoming.

WiFi was a little spotty, but that could have been due to the rain. We were given two breakfast choices and plates were prepared in the kitchen and served. A coffee bar would have been nice along with a small buffet of cheeses, meats, fruits, etc., similar to what other properties have offered.

the location with excellent views of the volcano, the walking trails on the property, the best breakfast of the whole trip, and above all, the friendly staff and owners. we were treated with true hospitality.

The scenery around it is breathtaking.

There is no noise insulation and people in the early morning are too noisy.
