Best hotel available in the small city of Uppsala (due to lack of options), unbeatable location, solid breakfast (but more options in breakfast can be better, sometimes also occasionally gets crowded). Duvets good and room clean.

Some cost-cutting: no slippers provided (but sent upon request), no free bottles of water provided. Also the scrambled eggs are a little too watery. Breakfast gets crowded sometimes. Dinner menu should improve a lot. The pillow is too soft - often have to put together to have good sleep. The shower pressure is weak.

This is a great place, located in city center. Hotel has very decent standard, it offers all you may need. Room was spacious and clean. I would like to call out the attitude and approach of staff, when we arrived it turned out that this hotel has no parking for cars higher than 2.1m what left me with no option than removing the (quite big) roof box. Amanda and Jakob were of great help with removal and finding a space in the hotel where I could store it overnight. I am a regular user of hotels all over Europe and this type of attitude is not common yet it improves the guest experience greatly. Would book again and I will recommend to friends & family.

No such things. Just be aware if your car is higher than 2.1m you won’t fit in the garage 🙂

Comfy bed, large bath and fantastic breakfast.

The wifi in our room was awful and dropped out almost every 2 minutes. Reception staff said we were likely between 2 wifi points so it sounds like they’re aware of the issue and nothing has been done to fix it. Troublesome as it was wet and rainy so we tried to watch a movie with our daughter and could not. We also had booked a triple room and the only place for the bed to be set up (that was a fold out bed) was under a shelf so that wouldn’t be suitable for an adult and we had to move it so our daughter wouldn’t injure herself on the sharp corner.

The staff were so lovely, helpful and friendly! The breakfast was great and I very much appreciated the different selection and choices! The location of the hotel was extremely convenient - right opposite the central station, therefore the accessibility to the transport system is not a factor to worry about when staying at this hotel!

One thing that could be improved would be to have bed sheets changed more often. Although once I did let the hotel staff know about this, they kindly arranged this and my bed sheets were then changed regularly during my stay.

I liked the breakfast, many options, juices, vegetables, fruits, fish, cooked and scrambled eggs, delicious cakes,.. The restaurant was really good, excellent option when it is too cold to go outside. The size of bedroom and toilet/shower room were spacious. People from front desk were always smiling and open to help you. There is a supermarket close to the hotel 3-5 minutes walking. 5 minutes walking from the train station

No frigobar in the room, but you can leave your belongings in their fridge. The liquid soap in the shower, I did not feel that was effective, little bit oily.

Breakfast selection was excellent. Range from breads, cold cuts, yoghurys etc and hot breakfast. In each 'section' there was a good choice. Our American family were very impressed.

The ventilation system did struggle to keep the room cool. Apparently the design was innovative.

The staff here are seem so happy and are so friendly, nothing is a problem. The food is excellent, especially breakfast. We had adjoining/accessible rooms and the were great. The accessible room had a wooden floor so it was easier for the chair to move around and plenty of space too.

One of the bedsheets had a stain on it. I think it probably was washed but the person making the bed would have noticed this. The accessible shower did not have a shower seat. Neither room had a window that could be opened and while there was good aircon/heating, fresh air was missing.

The staffs was exceptional. More so Maya, Jacob. And Amanda stood out the most. Provided formation about the area and even assisted me with a parking ticket. I will ensure if my staff comes back to uppsala that the raddison will be the first choice. Facilities may differ between hotels. But the staff is what makes a stay truly remarkable.

Room could have been cooler and matress softer.

This hotel is nicely located in the heart of Uppsala, right next to the train station but on the quieter side. Of course one has more hotel options next to the river. But as a city in the size of Uppsala, staying next to the train station is much more practical especially when you are traveling with multiple suitcases. The river is too far away to walk with your luggage, but too close to take bus/taxi. The staff is very friendly and helpful, flexible and can accommodate for special demands. And the rooms are very standard and neat, clean and cozy. Lots of breakfast options!

I liked the location, cleanliness but above all I was impressed by the breakfast. It exceeded our expectations!

I didn’t like that when I asked one of the waitresses for a tea mug (don’t like my tea in a coffee mug) that she said they must be all in the dishwasher BUT when I asked another one she immediately went and got a whole bunch!! Staff need to be thought to make at least an effort instead of making up stories 😉
