Very cute set of rooms in a historic wooden house. The common areas are well tended to and very charming. The kitchen space is especially outstanding with all the equipment you could need to live like at home. It was quiet, although you could hear a little bit from the rooms around.

The mattress quality was quite poor in my room, with narrow uncomfortable beds. I was under the roof with only a velux window which meant no view and a bit dark - although that was fine since I didn't spend much time in the room itself. There was no problem while I stayed, but I imagine there could be a shortage of showers when the place is full. I was woken up in the morning by my whole bed shaking, presumably from a washing machine below! For the price, I think breakfast should have been included.

Easy automatic check in, very quiet and clean, lots of shared bathrooms to choose from, the common kitchen was very well-equipped and even had stuff for kids. Short walk to and from train station and city center. Liked that the bed linens were included here as they were not included at another hostel we stayed in and we had to pay extra.

We were initially given a corner room at the top floor behind the common kitchen area which felt like a small, dark attic with a small window in the roof, nothing like the photo pictured. The worse was that there was an incredibly strong, musty almost chemical smell that didn't sit well with us since we were traveling with our baby. We called and reception gave us a few room options on the top floor. They were slightly better than ours but the smell still lingered. Reception guy finally found a downstairs room which looked like the Booking.com photos with big windows and no smell. Thanks so much for your understanding and flexibility.

The location was perfect for us, close to the central station and supermarkets. The room was cozy and clean. There was an extra heater available and lots of electrical outlets. The beds were simple but comfortable. There was a nice communal kitchen, clean and well equipped.

The communal toilet was a bit on the small side, but that seems to be a normal thing in Sweden. The entrance door was a bit tricky, it took us some time to figure out how to get out of the building.

The location was really great! Walking distance from the city center, but also very peaceful area. Accommodation was really pretty and served well for our summer getaway 😍 Kitchen was well equipped!

The room was a bit dark during the night, since it lacked a ceiling light. Other than that everything was nice.

It was a nice small place, we were in a small room with 3 people. Location was pretty good, all the main places were just down the road and Uppsala's center is small enough that everything was close by.

It wasn't very cozy but that didn't bother us. The beds made a lot of noise and one of the toilets got clogged up, also the room was small and corridors very narrow.

Good location. 10 minute walk to train station and central shopping. Room small but very comfortable. Great communal kitchen facilities. Quiet location.

Bathroom and shower facilities very small with nowhere to hang towel/ clothing.

Code check-in - my plane was late and I took the wrong train, making my delay run up to two hours. Despite that, I could open the door and feel comfortable without having to make any additional arrangements. Beautiful old building. Good spirit.

Not too much! It took a bit long for the shower to get warm, but that did not bother me too much. If you want to put some effort in environmental issues: waste separation would be a good investment

My room was small but lovely, the shared bathrooms small but clean, kitchen was very good with plenty of seating and storage and cooking space. I loved the decor in the charming old house, which was easy walking distance from the railway station and all sights around town.

The breakfast buffet in a sister facility was without hot meals like porridge or boiled eggs (only waffles)

The message with check-out instructions (door code) etc. was sent only one day after our actual check-in, which created some extra hassle. Make sure that you receive the check-in instructions beforehand!
