I was in Uppsala for a conference at the university. The location was excellent, a pleasant 20 minute walk away. The station is a little nearer. There is also a large Willys supermarket about 10 minutes walk away. The size of the apartment was larger than I expected with plenty of room. The kitchen, dining, living and sleeping areas and bathroom were all excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly in dealing with a couple of questions I had.

The only issue is that I had a ground floor apartment at the front of the building. There was some (not very much) noise from the street and I had to be careful opening the windows.

The location was perfect for us. When I booked I was a little concerned about being a little ways away from downtown but I’m so glad we stayed there. It is right by the river across from the park and was the perfect location for us. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to assist us with a small problem we had when we checked in and they were great the entire time we were there.

One of the rooms didn’t have plugs close to the bed, but the staff managed to get us an extension cord and a power strap to help us out and were incredibly helpful the entire week. The instructions and location of the laundry could’ve been more clear so that we could’ve taken advantage with that, we didn’t figure it out until it was too late.

We were upgraded to a premium room, which was very large and spacious, like a small apartment. Furniture and kitchen utensils are all new (ikea type). Beds very comfortable. Well located, next to the river promenade, and within walking distance to the center and the university (approx 15-20 min). A big supermarket approx 10 min away. The apartment was very quiet (at the moment the road nearby had no traffic due to some temporary works).

We had no complaints. Some suggestions, that may be usuful to guests: a foot towel next to the shower, a cutting board in the kitchen. In this room (number 12), the bed head is on the same wall as the main door entrance to the hotel, so it vibrates when people enter or leave. This is a bit disturbing, but can be fixed by moving slightly the bed.

I stayed in Uppsala for work for two months, and the Foundry Hotel was an excellent choice. Its location is ideal—very close to the hospital where I was working, with a lovely walk by the river to the city center. Both rooms I stayed in were spotless, which is something I really value, and they appeared recently refurbished and fully equipped with everything I needed. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly helpful and always welcoming with a smile.

This is a very professionally run apartment hotel. There is a management office on site, which is open 10-15 Monday to Friday. Emails get answered quickly even outside working hours. The facilities are new; the shared washing and drying machines were especially useful. I stayed for four weeks and got complimentary weekly cleaning and change of sheets. The studio had its own vacuum cleaner if you want to clean yourself. All in all I had a very good stay here and I will probably come back.

The studio apartment is small, it is more like a regular hotel room (although it has full amenities such as a full kitchen). There is quite a bit of construction work taking place in the neighbourhood and depending which way your windows are facing this may disturb you. In the summertime the restaurant next door has an outside service area right next to all the rooms facing the street. There was a continuous bad smell coming from the sewage in the bathroom.

The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable! I think the kitchen is well-equipped and the fridge is quite big! I liked the laundry system, it felt very well organized. The instructions to get to the room were also clear. The wifi was good. The ventilation on the bathroom was loud, but it was okay with the door closed and I eventually forgot about it.

It would be nice if they had an option to get soap for the laundry. If you are staying a week or so, it's not worth it to buy a whole bottle of laundry soap... Also, the lift feels like it belongs in a construction site.

Be very careful where to park, enough places to park but keep the right lane. When you are checking out be sure that you check out on time, If you want to throw away the garbage or go out the exit at one minute out of time, even if you are already out of the appartments the key carde does not allow you a second more

It was a comfortable room nice and close to the river. The bed was comfortable, good water pressure in shower, and spacious.

Washing machine and drier were advertised as being in the room and they were not- they were available onsite but required advanced booking. Air conditioner didn’t have a remote to it so couldn’t be used and it got very hot. (I’m from Australia and I don’t usually feel the heat!)

Well-equipped room with kitchen facilities, location is near the river, with a nice walking path into town. There is a grocery store within 10 minutes walk. I arrived early and messaged them, and they let me get into my room before check-in time which was really nice after a long flight!

Room was hot (unusually hot weather the days I was there), but they are installing A/C so that will be nice once it is installed.

Every was absolutely fine! It's the second time I stayed in this hotel and once again I appreciated the services. The studio was very clean and neat with all the utilities included. Nice communication with the staff (via email and in person). The location is okay, if you don't mind to walk a bit it's totally fine. (Aprox 15' walking to the city centre)

I would say the stairs and the thing we had to use two different stairs to reach the studio. One of them was a bit steep also.
