Breakfast was very fresh, a really good breakfast. Location and view, rooms were clean and modern

On check in 16 Apr, there was very little information provided by the staff for transfer of bags for our camino trip. It seemed like this was a common request but the reception staff gave the bare minimum of help. The lady on reception the following day was superb. She helped us with labelling our bags and ensuring the collection company sorted out proper labels. We were a group of 5 and would recommend staying here but some staff could do better

Nice breakfast. Spacious rain shower / wet room combined with full size bathtub. Location was good - opposite Gran Vía de Vigo shopping mall, bus terminal and train station allowing us to take a short train ride to Pontevedra for a day trip.

We stayed during mid-March but surprisingly the room was very warm. We were told that the air conditioning unit could not be individually controlled or changed in each room due to the season!!! Warm air was blowing. The receptionist told us to either switch it off completely or open the window instead. 😡

The hotel was perfect. The staff, very attentive. Elena and Manuel in the reception area went the extra mile to help me and see that I was well cared for. Thank you for sharing an email with helpful hints about the area too! The Occidental definitely goes the extra mile to assure you have a wonderful stay. I also enjoyed having the train and bus station across the street along side a lovely upscale mall with a supermarket and restaurants.

We really liked this hotel and the staff were really nice! It is a great location, right across the street from the mall (which we highly recommend you go to!) and restaurants. We were right on the Camino and saw quite a bit of pilgrims.

Compared to other hotels we stayed in along the Camino, we felt like this hotel was a little more "corporate" and were charged for more items that we were used to getting complimentary elsewhere. We didn't have a problem with paying, but we noticed that it lacked that authenticity we were used to.

Super clean. Very comfortable bed. There was a steamer in the room for getting wrinkles out of clothes, which was very handy. Staff very friendly. Very central location. Very close to train station, bus station and taxi rank. Also the Ascensor Halo makes getting up and down the hill a lot of fun! Lots of nice restaurants in the area. I would definitely stay there again. Have stayed in worse for three times the price!

Tea, coffee facilities in the room would have been appreciated.

Location, and the view.

Evening check in desk clerk was very professional and helpful. But the daytime clerk was rude, and gave me incorrect information regarding catching the bus versus calling for a taxi. Told me the bus service does not run to the airport as often as the evening desk clerk, which was incorrect. The length of time that the bus takes going to the airport , was also way off. Clearly trying to steer me to the more expensive taxi.

Front desk staff were great. Had an issue with a waiter who really didn’t care about my questions. I am diabetic and asked for a chocolate croissant 5 mins before the breakfast was open but it didn’t matter. I tried to explain that my sugar level was very low and that I needed to get something to raise it immediately but to no avail.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I especially loved the view from my window — it was absolutely stunning. The room was also very comfortable, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back!

The hotel met our needs perfectly. There is limited parking in an underground car park. The parking spaces are compact. You will need your best driving skills to park especially if like us the car is a recently picked up hire car! We were pleased to have secure parking

If you take the train it’s perfect across the street, taxi ride from Vigo airport 25EUR. The rooms were very good, only a little smaller than expected. You have to scoot over if you are standing by the foot of the bed to pass by your side of the room. Very updated new bathroom. Staff were nice 👍 breakfast was also good specially the bacon.

Small rooms if you have a partner/spouse standing by the foot of the bed he/she has to scoot over. Provide facial towels tho I notice European hotels does not provide it based on our other stays somewhere else.
