Very nice lady. She provided extra plates so we could eat a cold dinner in the garden. The breakfast was delicious and catered to our preferences. Home made jam! We could play the piano in the living room. The bedroom is spacious, as is the shower. All very comfortable. Black-out options in the bedroom for a good night's rest. Seperate toilet. Everything clean as well. We parked the car in front and could leave it a while longer after our check-out. Our French is not very good, but we were able to communicate well with our host. The address is close to cafes, shops and museums.

A warm and friendly welcome from our host! The room was large and comfortable and had everything you could want and more! The bathroom was so nice! And all the little extra touches in the room were much appreciated. Earl Grey tea bags were provided (amongst others) which we sometimes don't even get provided in UK properties! We are used to having to take our own tea-bags everywhere so this was a nice change! It was an extremely homely and a well thought out room. Breakfast was lovely and our Host was very kind and attentive.

Wonderful location, right Near castle, church, restaurants (eat at La Popote, 2 minutes walk) parking in front of room, wonderful host , it’s like a home away from home, large room in house that is yours has large bed, wonderful shower, private toilet and entry, breakfast is served in dining room each morning (you are only guest) wonderful layout for breakfast, made us an omelette In addition to other items. Would stay here again without question! Wonderful

Parking on the property. Annie was wonderful... a kind and helpful host The bedroom and ensuite were large and attractively decorated, with a comfortable bed and bedding and effective shutters, and we slept really well. Lots of thoughtful touches, such as a kettle, adaptor plugs, magnifying mirror, etc. The breakfast was in a lovely dining room overlooking the walled garden...lots of choice and the homemade rhubarb and banana jam was a hit. Thank you Annie!

Our room was very comfortable and relaxing, with a great shower-room and facilities. Breakfast was really delicious with home made jams; a real home-made treat. Lovely table settings, linen and crockery; all enjoyed looking out over a beautiful, peaceful walled garden. A charming, friendly hostess who made us very welcome. Free, convenient parking on-site, all within easy walking distance of the town centre for good restaurants and Avranches Castle. Thoroughly recommend!

Nice size room and private bathroom on ground floor of hosts private house. Room was very comfortably furnished with a large bed. Everywhere was immaculately clean and bedding and towels were good quality. Annie the host was extremely friendly and made us very welcome along with our small dog. Nice enclosed garden made available for use by our dog. Private parking in courtyard at front of property and a short walk into the town centre. Delicious continental breakfast including fresh warm crepes, homemade jams and fresh local apple juice prepared and laid out by Annie in dining area on ground floor at agreed time. Very homely comfortable stay. Would definitely visit again if we return to the area

Annie was the most welcoming and friendly of hosts and we felt very comfortable in her lovely home. Our bicycles were stored safely overnight in a locked garage. The room was spacious and beautifully furnished (loved the three little sheep on the dresser!) and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was served in her comfortable lounge/dining room with a view of the delightful walled garden. The delicious breakfast included freshly cooked pancakes and Annie insisted on us taking what we hadn't eaten, as well as fruit, for our lunch. We didn't want to leave!

I liked the owners very much. They were generous to a fault. My arrival in Caen was significantly delayed and my arrival time very late. The owner could not have been more obliging. The room had excellent facilities and was exceptionally clean. The breakfast was really excellent - plentiful and of very good quality.

Nothing. I can only say the property met my expectations in all respects - very rarely so in my experience. I would certainly use this as a stop over in future if ever passing this way into Northern Brittany.

There’s a beautiful garden that we didn’t get to use because of the rain. The guest house is right in the center of town so we could walk to cafes and sites. The breakfast was really good & plentiful. The best part is the owner who is super accommodating. We were waiting for our RV to be fixed and she went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. She even gave us a ride to the repair shop the next day! Highly recommend!

What an excellent stay. We arrived late due to the Ascension weekend bank holiday traffic. We planned to arrive at 6pm but eventually arrived at gone 11pm to find our lovely host waiting to help us park up and let us in to our accomodation. The room was very spacious with modern en-suite bathroom. The property has a beautiful back garden for guest use. Breakfast was excellent with a great selection including a variety of home made jams. We will definitely be returning and can whole heartedly recommend La Boudrie.
