The location is easy to find and the checkin was good with the helpful staff. Meals at the restaurant was good.
The room was not quite ready when it is said it is ready. Attention shall be paid to the details of the room to make it a pleasant stay, instead we had to walk up and down the stairs to get to the reception for assistance.

Perfect location and I was delighted to have a bathtub. Perfect after a long day of walking.
my room was missing a kettle. But -- this was a one night stay so it didn't matter. And the staff explained that they were unable to provide a kettle as they were ordering new ones. So - appreciated the effort to meet my needs.

Les Terrasses Poulard was a fantastic opportunity to stay overnight on Mont St. Michel - a truly wonderful experience! The hotel was nicely located on the Mont, a short walk from the entrance and up a flight of stairs, versus some of the other hotels which may be a further walk with additional stairs (this matters when carrying baggage). Be prepared for narrow hallways and stairs and set your expectations accordingly - you're staying here because it's on Mont St. Michel. The hotel room we had was nice, and you can open your window to let in a breeze. The breakfast that's included was very nice as well, and located just a short walk away at a nearby restaurant.

We had two rooms; 309 and 112. Room 309 was breathtaking! It was a triple occupancy in the Ermitage. Room 309 offered one window on each side of the room which provided an incredible cross breeze and views to both the shore and the Abby; it was really spectacular. Room 309 was very spacious as well. Room 112 was very nice with two windows facing out into the alley and was comfortable. Overall, everything was very nice and modern. You can tell that the staff keep everything running smoothly and take pride in maintaining each room.
Room 309 had a very low clearance in the tub and even though we were all short, we'd hit our heads while bathing. Room 112 was extremely hot, since both windows face one direction and exactly where the sun hits, it was stifling and unbearable; it needs a fan for the afternoon to combat this flaw. Room 112 was also very cramped; the beds were large and comfortable so I think it makes up for taking up so much of the small room.

The biggest benefit is that you stay out on the island, but the crowds, even in off-season were staggering.
Check in was not efficient. Everyone checking into the varied properties showed up at once because no one could check in before 4, which is a very late check in to begin with. We waited in a small office with many others for almost 45 minutes. The staff of 2 were good but could only do so much. Additionally, when booking it was not made clear where our room would be. As it turns out we were further up the hill about 100 yards from the main hotel and office, and down steps by a restaurant. The room was quite small with little room to put luggage.

Was a bit tricky finding the room as an annex and up from reception. The instructions not as clear - maybe due to language barrier. Room bit bigger than I thought and we had a window overlooking the bay which was nice. Bathroom very compact and getting in and out of shower could be challenging for larger people as door only opens less thsn 1/2... Right in centre and walking to restaurants and points of interest at door step. Breakfast was nice and staff friendly and cheerful.
The curtains in room looked to be dirty.. the teraline had black marks on it. Shower leaked a bit - needs new seal on door and silicone along the join of screen and door base! For the money they get a bit of maintenance would spruce things up. The linen bags left in hallways surely a cupboard could be used looks untidy.

Staying on the island of Mont St Michel is magical! After the hoards of tourists leave, you basically have the place to yourself. We experienced a beautiful sunset and watched the tide come in. It was magnificent! The entry/tour of the abbey at the top is 13€ plus 5€ for a tablet/audio tour which was well worth it. Gorgeous! The views of the bay are breathtaking. The room was convenient and clean, perfect for sleep, bathroom and shower when we were busy exploring Mont St Michel every moment we could.
One downside- most restaurants on the island were closed for dinner. The ones that were open were 1) terrible or 2). Beautiful with good service but overpriced with mediocre food. It seemed clear that they knew they didn’t have to wow their guests because where else were we going to go? Lol. Google did not show the other were closed, we arrived on the island at 5:30 pm, hungry, and thought we had time and options to eat. However we visited on May 2-3, which is a holiday weekend after the May Day holiday. So perhaps some restaurants closed to give their staff a holiday.

Breakfast was excellent! Very easy to find check in. Had a little difficulty finding the St. Michel annex as the door to those 6 units appeared to have the name of another hotel on it.
Room got a little warm overnight.

The rooms were great! I had low expectations after reading some reviews but the room was comparable to a nice Marriott. Great new bathroom and great bed and bedding. And being right on sight at MSM was fabulous. We saw the sunset and the sunrise without many people around at all. C’etait parfait! We had rooms 201 and 202.
Getting there was not super easy. We speak French and could ask where to park and how to get there shuttle but it could be hard for someone who didn’t. It’s not intuitive. Just telling someone there is a lot at the bottom of the Mont did not been. Perhaps providing explicit directions will save a lot of hassle for others.

Staff were amazing, location was great (we were on the same floor as the reception so we didn’t need to lug our bags too far), bathroom was nice, room came with a kettle, and the breakfast included with the room was great!
My only complaint was that the room smelled a bit like mildew. The windows were single pane and water was condensing on them and getting into the window frame. The closer you were to the window the more you could smell mildew.
