Location to Mount St. Michel is perfect. The restaurant Le Pre Sale was better than expected.

Our first room was very small; we asked for a different room and they easily accommodated.

Comfortable stay with good sized room and well appointed bathroom facilities. Moving from separate toilet to bathroom basin is clearly unhygienic though. Decent location for Mont St Michel. Car parking next to accommodation fine. Reception staff exceptional and helpful throughout.

Upstairs rooms need carpet as we stayed downstairs and could hear noise banging on floors above. Very expensive and limited restaurant next door made it feel a bit of a tourist trap. No gluten-free option as though conditions don’t exist. Barrier 12.50 euros to enter site is not a good design but plenty doing it!

The hotel was modern and clean and the room had a superb bathroom with a fabulous shower. Parking was reserved in advance and paid for on exit. Beds were comfortable and the hotel was really close to Mont St Michel so only a 2km walk or a quick 12 minute bus ride. The restaurant next door was booked by the hotel for us and the meal was excellent.

Nothing I didn’t like but would only stay here purely to visit the Mont as there’s nothing much else around the area.

Hotel is perfectly situated for visiting Mont St. Michel and was easy to locate and access with the instructions provided. Very clean and comfortable accommodation with a bar and restaurant attached. Staff very friendly and helpful, good breakfast buffet and good food in the restaurant. Shuttle buses run to and from the Mont right outside the hotel, although it is a short pleasant work for those able to. Good area for cycling and plenty of on site parking. Recommended.

Nothing! Would recommend making a reservation in the restaurant if you plan to eat there in the evening as it is popular.

We expected a very "basic" hotel/room given that all the hotels near the bus stop seemed to be classified as 3 stars. However, Mercure appears to have been recently renovated, or at least the bathrooms have been. Although our expectations were modest, but it was important to stay within walking distance of the Abbey, our expectations were exceeded. And the shower was one of the best we experienced on this trip in France. The room was large and clean. and the location was perfect, walkable (long walk) to the Abbey, and across the street from the one shop/coffee shop/small grocery and close to the bus stops. Also, the adjacent restaurant seemed to have slightly longer hours than some of the others nearby, which is important given how early the restaurants near the Abbey close.

Although the restaurant stayed open a little longer than most, nearly all the shops and restaurants closed around 6pm on the Abbey, which we did not expect. After dinner, some of our group returned to the abbey, but there is not much else to do after hours. So it would have been nice if the bar area of the restaurant would have stayed open longer, especially since the Euro Cup was on TV during our visit. However, given the location, room, bath, etc, and the very reasonable prices, we would definitely stay here again.

Mercure Hotel Mont Saint-Michel This is a beautiful hotel. The breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal. The staff were so professional and helpful. Erwan and the other members of the team looked after us so well in the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and served generously. The choice of the decor is modern and the ambience delightful. Parking facilities are excellent and  access is easy through a code provided by the hotel, in advance. The location of the hotel is superb with a free bus service to the Abbey. Bus stop is located just outside the hotel. We really look forward to our next stay in this hotel.

Absolutely loved this hotel! I had actually booked a cheaper hotel prior but upgraded to the Mercure upon learning that the rooms in the other hotel weren't air conditioned and totally don't regret the decision at all, the Mercure really exceeded my expectations! Firstly, the rooms - they were newly renovated, very spacious, had nice furnishings and floorings, and had large windows with lots of natural light. The bed was really comfortable with lots of pillows provided, there was lots of floor space to put our 3 suitcases and 2 backpacks, adequate wall sockets placed around the room and more than ample parking outside for our car. The hotel restaurant was really good too - we had dinner there and the food didn't disappoint. Finally, the location - it was perfectly situated in an area with lots of other hotels with the bus stop to Mont Saint Michel along the road right in front of the hotel. Going to and fro was as easy as it could get with buses arriving every 10-12 minutes.

The location is absolutely perfect, just minutes away from Mont Saint Michel. It is about 15min walking or you can take the shuttle bus right in front of the hotel. If you want to see the the island for sunrise and sunset, I can highly recommend this location.

Breakfast is OK but not exceptional. And this is not the fault of the hotel, but a hint that would be appreciated that one should make a restaurant reservation ahead of time since the limited amount of restaurants there tend to book our quickly.

The best thing about this hotel is the restaurant. We had an amazing dinner and the breakfast was fabulous also. The rooms are nice and comfortable with all you need.

The hotel looked a bit like a motel with some rooms leading straight onto the outside, which thankfully we weren't given. We arrived early and the cleaning staff were at work and the place looked a mess, which wasn't a great first impression. The public toilets could really do with a revamp as very old and dated, though the room facilities were very good. Overall we had a nice stay but the photos are nicer than reality and the hotel is not really like a 4star, only the restaurant is.

During my stay at the resort, I had an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the level of service and attention to detail. The breakfast was the highlight of my stay. The spread was extensive, and the food was of excellent quality. The other restaurant options were equally impressive, and I enjoyed every meal there. The restaurant staff were courteous and always went out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant dining experience. Overall, my stay at the resort was everything I could have hoped for, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

I would have booked a River view room if it was specified on the bookings website, we had a view of the parking lot. An explanation from reception was given about visiting Saint Michel but not how the tides work consequently we were stuck for an hour until the high tide subsided. We also had a transportation issue due to being a bit remote and would have been better if we rented a car to visit this resort.
