Location to Mount St. Michel is perfect. The restaurant Le Pre Sale was better than expected.

Our first room was very small; we asked for a different room and they easily accommodated.

The location was ideal for the transport shuttles and the air conditioning was wonderful in the heat.

We were told we would get a code to enter the parking area the day before check in. The email sent couldn't be opened and the hotel did not respond to emails for the information. We had to park elsewhere and walk a decent stretch. then, when asking for the code to move our car, the front desk wrongly said that the code was sent us in our first email. that gate was also the source for many delays as lines formed when people often tried to use it for public parking and failed. All of this didn't spoil the trip but wasted significant time.

The room was very spacious, tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. Simple and functional furniture with lots of storage space. Large bathroom, comfy bed. It was great to have a fridge and a tea/coffee maker in the room. We loved watching sheep from our window! The breakfast was delicious with great variety of choices. Free parking (but you have to pay to enter the zone where hotel is located). Shuttle bus to Mont Saint-Michel stops in front of the hotel.

No elevator for heavy luggage. The separate toilet room was very small. No safe in the room.

If you are visiting Mt St Michel, this is the place to stay - it is literally the closest you could stay within walking distance (a long walk to the actual site) but given the location is closed off this is the shortest distance if walking or you could take advantage of the buses that take you there are stops every 10 min and can be caught literally in front of the hotel - hotel is clean, the 18 euro bfast is totally worth it and the location itself has other amenities like restaurants and an ice cream shop right in the vicinity

There is no safe in the bedroom and the room still uses regular keys for entry

The hotel is the perfect base to explore the Mont Saint Michel, and the price is fair considering the location. Our room was nothing special but it did the job for a one-night stay. We traveled with our teenage daughter and we appreciated that the third bed was a proper bed, not a cot like some hotels would squeeze in. The room was clean, quiet and warm, but a little small for three and not very cozy. Parking was just outside of the building, very convenient. Breakfast was excellent, buffet-style, we found everything we hoped to find and more. We walked over to the Mont, probably 40 minutes, a very nice walk - but another time we took the free shuttle bus. The bus stops right outside the hotel, super convenient. I definitely recommend the hotel.

Good location near Mont Saint-Michel. Breakfast buffet was included and ok. The premium rooms are way nicer than the standard rooms.

Not sure what booking.com was thinking, but when we arrived we got an ugly three bed room. The staff was not really helpful and insisted that this is what we booked, but the booking was for a standard twin room via booking.com. The plattform literally booked us the ugliest and cramped three bed room, so be aware. We decided to upgrade and pay more at the reception to get a premium twin room which was way nicer and had slippers and a bath robe.

Comfortable stay with good sized room and well appointed bathroom facilities. Moving from separate toilet to bathroom basin is clearly unhygienic though. Decent location for Mont St Michel. Car parking next to accommodation fine. Reception staff exceptional and helpful throughout.

Upstairs rooms need carpet as we stayed downstairs and could hear noise banging on floors above. Very expensive and limited restaurant next door made it feel a bit of a tourist trap. No gluten-free option as though conditions don’t exist. Barrier 12.50 euros to enter site is not a good design but plenty doing it!

The hotel was modern and clean and the room had a superb bathroom with a fabulous shower. Parking was reserved in advance and paid for on exit. Beds were comfortable and the hotel was really close to Mont St Michel so only a 2km walk or a quick 12 minute bus ride. The restaurant next door was booked by the hotel for us and the meal was excellent.

Nothing I didn’t like but would only stay here purely to visit the Mont as there’s nothing much else around the area.

Hotel is perfectly situated for visiting Mont St. Michel and was easy to locate and access with the instructions provided. Very clean and comfortable accommodation with a bar and restaurant attached. Staff very friendly and helpful, good breakfast buffet and good food in the restaurant. Shuttle buses run to and from the Mont right outside the hotel, although it is a short pleasant work for those able to. Good area for cycling and plenty of on site parking. Recommended.

Nothing! Would recommend making a reservation in the restaurant if you plan to eat there in the evening as it is popular.

We expected a very "basic" hotel/room given that all the hotels near the bus stop seemed to be classified as 3 stars. However, Mercure appears to have been recently renovated, or at least the bathrooms have been. Although our expectations were modest, but it was important to stay within walking distance of the Abbey, our expectations were exceeded. And the shower was one of the best we experienced on this trip in France. The room was large and clean. and the location was perfect, walkable (long walk) to the Abbey, and across the street from the one shop/coffee shop/small grocery and close to the bus stops. Also, the adjacent restaurant seemed to have slightly longer hours than some of the others nearby, which is important given how early the restaurants near the Abbey close.

Although the restaurant stayed open a little longer than most, nearly all the shops and restaurants closed around 6pm on the Abbey, which we did not expect. After dinner, some of our group returned to the abbey, but there is not much else to do after hours. So it would have been nice if the bar area of the restaurant would have stayed open longer, especially since the Euro Cup was on TV during our visit. However, given the location, room, bath, etc, and the very reasonable prices, we would definitely stay here again.
