The bed sheets were luxuriously soft and good bed! Good sized, basic hotel room. Toilet separate from bathroom is a plus. Very close to Mont St Michel no-traffic zone, so can walk.

Air-conditioning is not available in the rooms although we were okay in the May heat.. Jun July would be a bit uncomfortable in the heat.

Excellent location for visiting Mt. Saint Michel. Shuttle bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Access by car is via special code into area that is not accessible to the general public, so there is no traffic issue.

The hotel is good and looks quite modern, although the rooms are a bit outdated and need some attention. Anyway, our room spacious and comfortable. We stayed there only for 1 night, for that purpose it was a very good option. Breakfast was good, there were quite many choices, although it was still a usual continental breakfast. But the quality of food was very good, only coffee was average, but no complaints, it's not a specialty coffee shop. Parking is plenty, but it's not free, you need to pay for it when you exit the village at the gate. Instructions from the hotel wasn't very clear, so I just used Google Maps to navigate to the hotel, at the gate you will need to enter a code provided by the hotel and take a ticket, which you pay on your way back. The location is the main reason why you want to stay here and not in a newer hotel farther from the shore. We walked to the abbey, but you can also take a shuttle bus. We walked there twice, second time at the sunrise, when the shuttle bus don't operate yet. Of course we could stay somewhere else and drive there, parkings are open 24h, but saving even 30min at 5am is felt ver well by your body and mind.

I looked for a good budget hotel as close to Mont St Michel as possible on the ‘mainland’, near the causeway. I booked Hotel Vert because it had good ratings, a reasonable price and was in walking distance of the Mount or the causeway shuttle buses. In addition, I wanted to see the sunset and not simply visit in the busy middle of the day in the heat of July. What a good decision! The hotel is very clean, friendly staff who helped us beyond expectation. The room was basic, but a good size with good beds and very clean. Excellent water pressure in the shower. It was exactly as described plus a bit better. We paid extra for breakfast which is a cold buffet with lots of different choices. I ate loads so I didn’t need lunch! It is only 3 minutes walk to the causeway, it couldn’t be nearer. We would have preferred if the room has air conditioning, but then it would cost more. We slept well even without aircon. I would definitely stay here again. Not just for Hotel Vert itself, but for a much superior visit to Mont St Michel.

The staff was very helpful and it is ideally situated close to the free bus shuttles that go to the mont St Michel that runs every 10 minutes. The breakfast is nice and relatively cheap for the prices of the places near the mont. The bedroom was clean and the beds comfy.

If I have to complain about something, they don't have plugs beside the bed. Hopefully, they had extension switch to lend us (my parents-in-law needed some respiratory medical devices). Everything is expensive near the mont. This hotel is one of the most affordable ones, but still expensive..

The location was perfect for visiting Mont St Michel - a free shuttle bus right outside the hotel. A decent breakfast and easy walking distance to local restaurants.

It took us a while to find the hotel. The instructions refer to a code to access a barrier to the hotel car park. In fact, the barrier is there to charge for access on the road to Mont St Michel itself rather than the hotel car park. To clarify - activate the barrier to enter the area in which you will then find the Hotel Vert along with other hotels and restaurants etc. Our sleep was badly and repeatedly disturbed by the noise of showers and hairdryers from around 11pm to 2pm in the morning. A number of guests from a Japanese coach party decided this was a good time to have a wash and dry. Unfortunately, it was possible to hear the noise from rooms some way down our corridor. Rooms not well sound proofed at all.

The location is very good, few steps away from the free shuttle bus station, very convenient to get to the Abby. A standard scenic hotel with its own parking lot for guests to use. The room is not big but very tidy. Good breakfast, we booked for the one more day after trying once.

Our room is very small, we have to open a luggage under the table. The table is small too, cannot hold too many things. There are not many power sockets available.

The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a great location to visit Mont-Saint-Michel - there was a free shuttle to the island basically directly outside and it was only a few minutes' walk from the dam with a beautiful view. We didn't walk all the way to the island, but it would have been about thirty minutes and looked lovely.

The hotel walls were thin - we could hear things happening in the hall pretty clearly. The hotel is also less accessible to the surrounding areas other than Mont-Saint-Michel than we expected, which isn't the hotel's fault but is something we wish we'd known earlier. We'd thought about going to Pontorson for dinner (there aren't many restaurants in/near Mont-Saint-Michel and they're all pretty expensive), but the buses into Pontorson are infrequent and stop running fairly early. If you don't have a car, you're pretty much stuck in Mont-Saint-Michel and the nearby hotel area.
