The bed sheets were luxuriously soft and good bed! Good sized, basic hotel room. Toilet separate from bathroom is a plus. Very close to Mont St Michel no-traffic zone, so can walk.

No kettle coffee/tea. Having to pay extra 10 Euro for parking per night

Loved the location and the very friendly staff! Breakfast was super and the bus pick-up and drop-off was right in front of hotel, never had to wait more than a few minutes. The hotel is almost the last stop going to the abbey and the 2nd stop on returning, so it’s so convenient. The rooms are small and basic, but who needs more when you have Mont Saint Michel right around the corner? Everything was super clean. We loved the dam nearby for great views of the island as well. We walked a couple of times as well. It’s just a super location.

No negatives other than weak wifi, but that seems to be the issue everywhere.

Air-conditioning is not available in the rooms although we were okay in the May heat.. Jun July would be a bit uncomfortable in the heat.

Excellent location, right beside walkway to Mont Saint Michel with free shuttle bus every few minutes to the abbey. The rooms were clean and comfortable, staff friendly with a shop next door and a few restaurants nearby. The breakfast was well worth getting and very reasonable. The view of Mont Saint Michel makes up for everything as it is such a magical spiritual place.

Wifi connection is not good, but we had read the reviews and were prepared for that. Also the parking is €12.50 for 24 hours, but if you leave the site, you have to pay this again, we did not leave as we only stayed for a night, but be prepared that the restaurants on the site and on Mont Saint Michel are quite expensive. Also, as we stayed on a Sunday, every restaurant was either closed or shut at 9pm that evening, thankfully we found a takeaway though we just made it before they shut the doors too! There were a lot of hungry people walking around that night!

Excellent location for visiting Mt. Saint Michel. Shuttle bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Access by car is via special code into area that is not accessible to the general public, so there is no traffic issue.

Paying for parking- need access code 6-digit access code for the road gate. No in/out privileges. Basic charm similar to Motel 6 - no frills. No elevator. No air-conditioning or cooling fans in rooms. No in-room amenities: lack kettles, mini fridge. Password/login required every time to access.

The hotel is good and looks quite modern, although the rooms are a bit outdated and need some attention. Anyway, our room spacious and comfortable. We stayed there only for 1 night, for that purpose it was a very good option. Breakfast was good, there were quite many choices, although it was still a usual continental breakfast. But the quality of food was very good, only coffee was average, but no complaints, it's not a specialty coffee shop. Parking is plenty, but it's not free, you need to pay for it when you exit the village at the gate. Instructions from the hotel wasn't very clear, so I just used Google Maps to navigate to the hotel, at the gate you will need to enter a code provided by the hotel and take a ticket, which you pay on your way back. The location is the main reason why you want to stay here and not in a newer hotel farther from the shore. We walked to the abbey, but you can also take a shuttle bus. We walked there twice, second time at the sunrise, when the shuttle bus don't operate yet. Of course we could stay somewhere else and drive there, parkings are open 24h, but saving even 30min at 5am is felt ver well by your body and mind.

I looked for a good budget hotel as close to Mont St Michel as possible on the ‘mainland’, near the causeway. I booked Hotel Vert because it had good ratings, a reasonable price and was in walking distance of the Mount or the causeway shuttle buses. In addition, I wanted to see the sunset and not simply visit in the busy middle of the day in the heat of July. What a good decision! The hotel is very clean, friendly staff who helped us beyond expectation. The room was basic, but a good size with good beds and very clean. Excellent water pressure in the shower. It was exactly as described plus a bit better. We paid extra for breakfast which is a cold buffet with lots of different choices. I ate loads so I didn’t need lunch! It is only 3 minutes walk to the causeway, it couldn’t be nearer. We would have preferred if the room has air conditioning, but then it would cost more. We slept well even without aircon. I would definitely stay here again. Not just for Hotel Vert itself, but for a much superior visit to Mont St Michel.

The room was very well established for my 4 person family to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Mont St. Michel. Overall, the stay was very nice and the staff treated us terrific.

The weather at the time was rather warm, and I often worry about open windows in travel towns...but we needed to open the windows to avoid being to hot to sleep. A small air conditioner or window fan would have made the night more comfortable. Additionally, I require power for my sleep device (CPAP), and the closest one was on the wrong side of the room.

We had a spacious room with a large window that opened to let in fresh air and overlooked the green space. It was quiet and clean and met our basic needs. The shower was good and the soaking bathtub was appreciated after a full day of walking. They gladly stored our luggage in a secure room before check-in and after we checked out. A handy location to catch the shuttle bus to Mont St. Michel. A misunderstanding over charges was resolved to our satisfaction.

The room did not have a kettle nor fridge.
