Etoile des Grèves has an amazing view of Mont-Saint Michel. The window of the room is facing the Castle and watches over the astonishing landscape. The host was very polite and eager to help with any questions we had. Most importantly, everything was exceptionally clean ( including the shared kitchen that it was available for use during our stay ). There are also parking spots available in case you get there by car. Breakfast was very good and cozy.

There is nothing that we did not like.

The breakfast was delicious, many kinds of jam, croissant, baguettes, cheese, milk, coffee and tea. The whole place is so beautiful and you see Mont St. Michel from the restaurant, rooms and from the parking lot. And it's close as well like between half an hour and an hour, depends on how many times you want to stop to take pictures. The room is clean and we have stayed at a shared apartment were the kitchen and the living room are shared. The garden of the hotel is beautiful and well maintained. And the owner is a very nice and gentleman.

There was no eggs at breakfast, I guess this is the only thing we've missed! Other than that and overall it was a very good experience and I definitely recommend it. Just keep in mind that October is the season where the mosquitoes were all around! Sometimes they were very annoying while walking and if you're allergic make sure to pack your meds.

Mont Saint-Michel was one of the main reasons we visited Normandy. We booked a room in Etoile des Grèves because of the view to Mont Saint-Michel. It was totally worth it! One of the hiking routes to Mont Saint-Michel starts here and brings you through the fields packed with lovely sheeps, but if you prefer the shuttle bus you can take it, the stop isn't that far by walk. Free parking was granted. Our host Stéphane was lovely, he gave us all the useful informations that made our stay here simply unforgettable: hiking tips and towns to visit nerby. Our room was nice and clean and the breakfast was outstanding too. If you stay here make sure to visit Saint-Malo and Cancale too. Thank you very much!

The setting was spectacular, we couldn't stop looking out the window! It was in a quiet area but within walking distance of Mont Saint Michel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with shared lounge and cooking amenities. Nice selection for breakfast in a friendly dining area. Plenty of parking.

Magnificent views of mont st michel. The gentleman owner was really friendly, polite and welcoming. The room was simple but relatively clean.

We came during a heatwave - it was stuffy due to the summer sun. Can consider a standing fan to provide some ventilation. Enjoyed stay nonetheless as it cooled down at night.

What a place. Will recommend everyone to stay there for a visit to s Mount st michel. Free shuttle stop is only 15 minute by walk, so you can avoided expensive parking there. And the view from the room, dining room and property exterior is simply out of the world.

Absolutely nothing

We had an amazing stay! The location is just perfect - right next to a field with sheep and the view is absolutely stunning. Breakfast was such a treat with fresh croissants and juice every morning. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a real French vacation.

Amazing location and host - 5 min fast walk or 10 min easy stroll to the free buses to Mont st Michel - we walked back early evening to avoid the return queues. Nice breakfast selection with fresh brewed coffee and takeout drinks! Rooms are modern and functional, would certainly visit again

Not a complaint at all but no local shops that we could find so stock up on snacks and soft drinks if you plan to return to your room early

Great proximity and view of the Abby

We knocked and rang the bell several times. The owner didn't answer. Then, I knocked on the windows until I got the owners attention. He was super nice and apologized for not hearing us, but It made me nervous for a bit.

The apartment is located very close to Mont Saint-Michel's shuttle bus station, approx. 10-15 mins walk. Very nice buildings, large car park, friendly host, comfortable beds, quite, good breakfast. Shared dinning room. You can see Mont St. Michels from this dinning room.
