We stayed at both the Hyatt Pune and the Blue Diamond during our family trip, allowing for a direct comparison (I'll post a similar review on Blue Diamond's booking.com page). Hyatt's breakfast and pools are outstanding. The breakfast is served in a large, welcoming room with a bright terrace that catches the morning breeze. The selection is plentiful—both Western and local dishes—and very tasty, with extremely attentive staff. The pool and sport center are top-notch, featuring a scenic layout with a main pool long enough for proper swimming and a shallow pool for children.

Though our room was spacious and bright with a living/dining area and bedroom overlooking the pool, it felt very tired and below Hyatt standards (compared to my previous experiences in Tokyo). The woodwork was damaged, cupboard hinges were loose, and most surprisingly, the electrical setup was minimal: just one main switch for the living/dining area and one for the bedroom. You couldn't even control the bed lighting individually—utterly inconvenient in disappointing.

We were visiting just for one night and we had a comfortable stay, thank you. 24 hour Room service was a saviour as we got back from a concert really late in the night and we were starving. I did use the fitness centre which was a little small but was set in a nice location by the pool, the steam room and sauna was nice too, the health club lockers were not properly accessible as the property was going to be renovated. Breakfast was the highlight - a huge variety to choose from and wonderful service from the restaurant team.

As we arrived there were quite a few people checking in and so we were asked to be seated and offered a drink which we could order - we each ordered some tea (there were 3 of us staying at the hotel). At checkout the next day, I noticed our teas were added to the final bill. I had to discuss this with the team as when we were offered the drinks we presumed they were complimentary welcome drinks as we had to wait quite a while before we could check in. We also were not presented with any bill to sign at the time so I was slightly confused with this additional bill at checkout. It was eventually cleared off our final bill but again this took time to resolve and we got delayed as we had a taxi waiting to depart at a particular time. The service otherwise was very good, thank you.

Stay was three nights. First room was a bit small for the price, and had minor issues I addressed to Manager and Krati Sharma, Executive Representative. They worked double-time to resolve all issues, we negotiated a very reasonable upgrade to larger room. Professionalism and consistent service in EVERY department far exceed any issues. Krati took full charge, and everyone at this location, far too many names for me to recall, made the stay superior! Especially food service chef, all in dining area deserve 10+ score as well. Thank You!

I pointed out issues in original room layout where doors, especially bathroom doors caused difficulty blocking access to bathroom, due to hanging on wrong side. (left vs right hinged) Also found toilet flush button annoying to reach without joggling seat and lid each time. Some interior designs are dated to 1980's. Assurance was that many of these issues are already being updated. As I say, Lead by Krati Sharma completely overshadowed even these issues, which I presented to them as genuine feedback for their future reference.

The breakfast experience was a delightful blend of variety, quality, and impeccable service. It had quick and healthy bite or even a leisurely, indulgent meal. The attention to detail, the diversity of options, and the elegant setting make it a perfect choice for starting your day on a high note. Daily was accompanied by coral at the breakfast table, which is really very thoughtful as i was sitting alone. Also to mention my favourites missal pav, bun maska and filter coffee. Room was good with a great view.

Should keep the small spoons at guests disposal as had to ask for them daily.

Well-kept and spacious rooms. Most beautiful hotel pool I've seen in India so far. The Spa was excellent as well. The breakfast and dinner buffet were good. Staff was friendly and supportive. Overall, what you get for the competitive prices is well worth the money.

The furniture was a bit dated and the terrace of the bar and restaurant is directly next to a very busy and dusty street. Also, some of the neighbours like to burn their trash right next to the terrace.

I recently decided to visit the city of Pune to explore tourist attractions there. I was surprised at the amount of traffic in Pune which I didn’t expect but it had also been a long time since I last visited. Nevertheless, a great city with a good number of tourist spots to visit in and around the city too. I personally liked Aga Khan palace, Shaniwar Vada and the Japanese friendship garden. Must visit. I book a room at Hyatt for this trip and was very happy with my stay. Clean hotel, helpful staff. I must mention Bikash at front desk who was extremely patient and helpful. The housekeeping staff which had Biswajit kept my room really clean and were quick and efficient and made sure to have everything well stocked in my room. I had an issue with my pillow (too soft) and they immediately gave me 3 more with different firmness to try. Very sweet of them to do that. The restaurants are very nice and the gym and spa area is outstanding. Loved using the gym and steam everyday . Overall had a great experience and was thankful to the friendly staff for making my stay extremely comfortable.

It is worth the price for the service, safety, and creature comforts. The staff were easy to contact and held my room while I was stuck in Delhi Airport for 24hours and only arrived the midnight before I was checking out. So many hotels would have charged the full amount and cancelled the booking but they were communicative and helpful, yes I did pay the full two nights but honestly, worth it not to have to find a hotel at midnight for 12 hours!

I liked everything about the hotel.

Breakfast was excellent. Room was a little small, however, it had all the facilities needed and it was clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent. They were polite, helpful and very efficient. It was Christmas when we stayed at Hyatt. So, the team had a wonderful surprise for my 6 year old son. There was a Santa Claus coming to greet my son right from the top through the window. My son did singing and dancing with the Santa across the window, He was so so happy and delighted. Also, the hotel provided free cakes and cookies for the kids on Christmas.

Nothing.

This is a beautiful hotel located on the extremely busy Nagar Road highway. However once inside, its hard to believe it's so close to a main road. It feels like an oasis of peace and calm. Nice pool and spa, several restaurants. Lovely breakfast area with facilities to eat on the terrace. Extensive breakfast buffet with Indian, European, Chinese options and very attentive staff. Rooms were spacious, classy with stylish bathrooms. Plenty of water bottles provided.

There was nothing to criticise. Everything was just perfect for my stay.
