Beautiful location. Lots of correspondence with very friendly and helpful host which made everything easy. The cottage was well equipped and very clean. Excellent for anyone wishing to get away from it all. Lovely Pool as well.

We arrived late at night so a 'Welcome Pack' with milk and bread etc. would have been useful (happy to pay) as there are no shops nearby. Also more rubbish bags to take the rubbish and recycling to the collection point. A toaster would have been nice too. Very minor things but can make a difference.

The lovely view over the lake and mountains. Peaceful setting. Kids liked the pool. The little house was well kitted out with everything we needed for a fun and comfortable stay. Very good air conditioning.

There wasn't really anything that I didn't like. The wee house was great. The drive down to the house from the main road was a bit rickety, also we had 3 double beds, it would have been nice to have a mix of double and single beds.But other than that everything was very good.

Charming, rustic, clean and spacious accommodation situated in the countryside with views of the Embalse de Vinuela, typical Andalucian "pueblos blancos" on the surrounding hillsides and dominated by the impressive La Maroma mountain. Situated about an hour's drive from Malaga airport, nearest supermarket in Vinuela, (a short drive away) with more shops in Velez-Malaga town, (a 20 minute drive away) A car is essential to reach this accommodation and be able to get out and about and explore the area Key box to obtain keys to the property Air con in all rooms (main living/dining area, and two bedrooms) Large patio/balcony with table, chairs and sun loungers, to enable enjoyment of the expansive, panoramic views over the olive groves around the property Kitchen area had a fridge, electric oven/toaster and a small induction hob, suitable for self-catering and a washing machine A bathroom with shower over the bath and a separate shower room, both with toilets Large bedrooms (a double and a twin), large wardrobes with plenty of storage and hanging space Towels and change of sheets supplied Ample parking outside the property Swimming pool with sun loungers ( which we never utilized, spending our days trekking up and around the mountains!) Alojamientos Huetor is a great base for hiking and touring the area and we hope to return!

The huge bolster pillow, just the one for the double bed! - too hard and thick for me and not raised enough for my husband! It would have been nice to have had separate pillows to accommodate our different tastes! A hairdryer would be a welcome addition - fortunately, if it's hot, drying your hair is not too much of a problem! The Wi-fi was a bit temperamental at times and the TV had only limited Spanish channels

Everything was just great. We would recommend this property to everyone. The hosts were exceptionally friendly, helpful and their service was amazing. In a wonderful location with great views of the lake.

The only comment we have is the property would benefit from having traditional comfy pillows

This is our 3rd visit to Alojamientos Huetor. The location is great for exploring the area. It’s also lovely and quiet. Spacious accommodation and good value for money. Isa who is our point of contact is lovely and very helpful as to what is going on in the area. The pool area is nice with plenty of sun beds and it’s never really busy so we often had the pool to ourselves as other people staying here are out exploring the area. We will definitely be back!

Very comfortable house with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. It has all you need to prepare your own food if that’s what you enjoy, but there are many options of places to visit for meals if you prefer. Good AC which really helped in the 40+ degrees heat.

The pool was a little further from the property than anticipated but this wasn’t really an issue as it was a lovely pool

Everything was perfect, couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. We love rural accommodation and like to have our own space to relax and Alojamientos Huetor had everything we needed. We spent most nights on the terrace with a BBQ, dinner and alcohol, it's so peaceful. The accommodation was very clean, kitchen extremely well equipped, aircon in both rooms and the living area. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful and made sure everything was ok. There are no restaurants or bars within walking distance so you definitely need a car, but can recommend one only 15 min taxi ride called Venta El Charco, was very good. Overall a great experience and will definitely come back if we visit the area again.

The property was spotless, roomy and had lost of facilities, including a swimming pool shared with other residents. Isa (the host) was friendly and very helpful . She even drove from her house one night becasue we thought we'd lost our key (as it happened we found it). She gave us advice about local restaurants and places to visit. There were also breathtaking mountain views from our balcony. Excellent value for money.

The property was a little more isolated than we expected and the difficulty we encountered was getting to a bar / restaurant without the use of a car. The nearest place was about 3 miles away and this was mainly uphill. We were initially looking for a local bar / restaurant within easy walking distance. As it turned out, we had to use our car every time we went out, meaning only one of us could drink. As a result, we bought drink and spent a number of evenings at the property. If this isn't a problem for you, then this place would be idyllic.

The host is absolutely amazing for starters. Great communications, nothing was too much trouble. The property is really lovely - great size, fab facilities, clean. Outside area with view of the lake, also a separate porch with drying facilities (perfect!). Aircon in the rooms works so nicely. The swimming pool was so nice too - we went every day and often had it to ourselves! The area is wonderfully quiet - so rural and peaceful. Not the place to go if you want a party, but just stunning with natural beauty! You need a car for sure! Perfectly placed to get to a range of amazing locations that are in the vicinity. Highly recommend.

Nothing at all!

We loved staying here! It was our second house that we rented in our journey in Andalusia and the change of scenery was welcomed. The views from this house are amazing, mountains around, the valley with many fruit trees (you can take a walk to the lake) the lake down below, the swimming pool (beautiful and clean) and the many fig trees on your way there. The house was well taken care of, clean, comfortable, with two bathrooms (great for a family!), the hosts were super friendly, quick to respond and super helpful with all of our questions and also with us bringing our eldest daughter along at the last minute: they fixed an extra sleeping place for us. Overal a great place to do daytrips from, or to just rest and enjoy the Andalusia views and tranquility.

The electric cookingstove was small (2 pits) for a family and was a little bit broken. We love to cook, also on holiday, so this might be improved for the next visitors!
