We absolutely loved our 4 x night stay at Oltre gli Ulivi and it was the highlight of our 10 day trip to Puglia! This boutique hotel is set amongst a beautiful old olive farm (with the farm now next door) and is extremely peaceful and a great place to unwind and relax, but within short driving distance from many of Puglia's popular towns. We also loved the hotel's pool and enjoyed spending mornings / afternoons chilling there. One highlight of our stay has got to be the incredible homemade breakfasts, with fresh fruit and vegetables from the farm and delicious cheeses and hams. This was by far the best breakfast we had in Puglia! Another highlight was the exceptional service from the two brothers working there - Vito and Francesco! They helped us with amazing local recommendations for restaurants and things to do nearby. We loved visiting the beautiful villages of Ostuni, Martina Franca, Locorotundo, Alborobello and Polignano a Mare - all a short drive from the hotel. We couldn't recommend this hotel more!

One thing to note is this hotel is not in walking distance to any towns. The nearest town / village is a 5 / 10 minute drive away. But this didn't bother us as we drove to Ostuni (10 minute drive away) for dinner 2 nights (the best 2 meals we had in Puglia, our favourite restaurant was called Osteria Del Tempo Perso) and the local village for dinner 2 nights (5/10 minute drive away )

Oltre Gli Ulivi is a beautiful oasis where you can truly relax. We have had a jam-packed holiday, so it was lovely to spend a few days here to decompress and slow down. The villa itself is picturesque and very quiet. We loved that it had retained the beautiful details of the old building with tasteful modern touches to enhance it. The hospitality was second to none, from the drink on arrival to the thoughtful recommendations. I also think it has to be one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had. An absolute joy to stay here and the highlight of my trip!

What an amazing stay! Such a gem of a hotel. The owners were the best hosts and provided everything we needed. I highly recommend staying here. It was a luxury retreat. I definitely want to to come back. The breakfast was so delicious in the morning. The decor and property is so nicely done. Very inspiring.

Everything was perfect

This place is perfect. It's small, non-commercial, exquisitely designed, run by charming brothers and their mom, in an olive grove. The pool is beautiful. It's the quintessential white masseria with none of the tour busses. Breakfast was remarkable, but also in the evening they facilitated a beautiful table for the pizza we bought in town. They sent us to a friend for a tour of an olive press (tasting season is over for the working farmers). They recommended an excellent seafood restaurant on the Adriatic. They were engaging and just delightful. Cannot recommend them more highly.

See above - it was perfect. They are a bit remote, so it's good to find them before dark, but we drove home in the dark and had no trouble.

Oltre gli Ulivi has an excellent breakfast with freshly baked pastries/cakes/tarts, fresh fruit and fruit juice all served in a beautiful terrace. It is important to note that Oltre gli Ulivi is located in the countryside and is surrounded by olive groves. While you cannot walk anywhere, its location makes for a very quiet and relaxing place while being close to Ostuni and other places nearby with excellent choices for restaurants.

The welcome was excellent and the breakfast delicious. They were obviously very keen that their guests have a comfortable stay.

Would prefer tea making facilties in the room and also don't think you should have to pay for bottled water in the room, if you cannot drink the tap water. These are minor points. We had a lovely stay. Thank you

Beautifully simple, stylish, charmingly and professionally run in an unobtrusive way. Warm hosts and delightful breakfast in lovely setting. In such a super location in the middle of olive groves but easy access to all the main towns - day and evening. Really comfortable. Couldn’t fault it.

We picked this location for the first leg of our almost 1 month trip and it ended up being the best of the places we stayed by far. Francesco, Vito and their mom Lucrezia went out of their way to make our trip enjoyable and memorable. Francesco and Vito had great restaurant recommendations as well as knowledge of places to go and how best to get there. Lucrezia served the best breakfast we had in all of Italy and always with a smile from her and her helper. The location is perfect for exploring Puglia and we visited and spent time in all the best spots. The location is also close to several restaurants in the local small town that are very good and very reasonable as well. The property was also beautiful. tasteful, and very accommodating and everything felt new and fresh. I cannot say enough good things about this property and the family who runs it. It exceeded our expectations.

I cannot think of anything negative because the positives were too numerous.

From the moment we arrived, we knew that we had made a great choice staying here. Francesco and his brother Vito dealt with all of our needs in a very friendly and professional manner. Our room was large and very comfortable, and the pool was beautiful…just what we needed in the recent hot weather. Breakfast was amazing with a selection of cold meats, cheeses, pastries and fruit…perfect to start the day. We will definitely be recommending staying here to our friends…a perfect get away 😁

Beautiful architecture, finished to a high standard, super clean and beautiful location in the middle of the olive groves. Family run and incredibly accommodating, seemed a genuine pleasure to have us. There is also a reason every review mentions the breakfast - outstanding and varied! We can’t wait to come back
