The hostess, Cecile, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She resolved some issues on the spot and always checked with all the guests during breakfast. She was kind, helpful, and always available. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The location is also great, walking distance to the historic part of the city, close to the origani museum and aquarium.

Perhaps the staff need more training on turning on the lounge's TV; they tried, but the TV could not be turned on. They also resolved all my requests efficiently and within a reasonable time. I want to highlight Gabriela from the breakfast service and the reception staff, who was great and super helpful.

Colonial style property, very pleasant rooms, nice seating area although perhaps a little tired, A very nice touch was that staff put out jugs of water so that you could pop in during the day to refresh yourself even after checking out (if, like me, you had left luggage there).

Rather surprised there was no bar area: as a solo traveller I value a glass of wine in the evening, particularly when there is a pleasant terrace to sit on. I suppose they don’t have the demand, but I felt the lack!

The location is great!! Rooms (bed) very big and confi. Breakfast and coffee delicious. Pool is small but I was able to enjoy it a little big after the breakfast with no other people. Anyway you should be exploring beautiful Colonia and not sit at the pool :-)

One lady at the reception was a little awkward. It may be a language barrier. She was very strict. What time you are coming to breakfasts 8,9 or 10!?! No, you can’t stay at the pool area after you check out, you can only leave your suitcase. Anyhow I’d go back and recommend this hotel to my friends :-)

Perfect central location with easy walking access and distance to everything. The Hotel still holds its charm and character and rooms were large. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and provided information to our many questions.

No kitchen amenities or bar fridge in the room, would like to make tea, coffee or have cold drinks or snacks. The ferry arrives late and we had no access to obtaining any UA currency as ATMs close at 7pm, so we missed out on dinner or even a cup of tea the first night.

This is a beautiful hotel full of charm and character. We had a memorable stay and would wholeheartedly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Colonia - a destination worth so much more time than the usual day trip from Buenos Aires. The rooms are charming and full of character and the courtyard is a lovely place to relax in the evening with a beer.

Lovely clean room in a good area of Colonia. Nice grounds and pool. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Good continental breakfast.

Our first night we had a couple next door who were really loud and you could hear absolutely everything word for word. The sound proofing is not good between rooms unfortunately so it’s just luck who you end up getting in the rooms around you.

Lovely character property. Very helpful accommodating staff. Pleasant garden/terrace area with small pool to cool off in. Breakfast was good we enjoyed our two night stay and are going to return there for the final night of our trip. So that says it all really.

A few more sun bed cushions and umbrellas by the pool would benefit.

We had a spacious room on the second floor overlooking the courtyard. The room was sunny and bright. The shower was great. The breakfast was delicious with homemade sweets, fresh fruit and fresh squeezed OJ. The king bed was very comfortable - like sleeping on a cloud. Plus - the staff were so kind and friendly.

Good breakfast, great location, sweet staff, great value, clean & fun decor. Excellent base for exploring Colonia del Sacramento. Recommend staying a night or two. Lots to enjoy in this charming town (especially after the day trippers leave)

Walls a little thin, room next door was having fun

The staff was friendly and always pleasant. The entire place had a fab vibe. We spent six days here and immensely enjoyed the experience. The buffet breakfast was delicious. We would stay here again - old-fashioned charm and hospitality.
