It's in a very quiet street yet in the center. The staff is very kind. The pool is minuscule but long enough to do laps. The common areas are nice if you want to chill, read a book outside of your room. Fresh fruits in abundance at breakfast.

Two things annoyed me greatly: - smokers by the pool. The garden and pool are both small so any smoker annoys anyone in the pool or in the garden. They should only be allowed in another patio that is closed off to the rest of the common areas - because there's no real kitchen there's no egg to taste, they cook a bunch of hard boiled eggs in a machine and voila. Which equates to no egg for me. Besides this, we were given the room in front of the pool (main corridor) - we paid for an upgraded room (garden view) but in fact had zero privacy so we had to keep curtains closed. That's not an upgrade but rather an inconvenience, therefore a downgrade.

Very nice staff (English-speaking) greeted us at check-in. Beautifully designed property inside with a comfortable lobby area, outside sitting area and pool/garden area. Room was spacious enough, bed was comfortable, pillows and linens were nice. Everything worked and the room was spotlessly clean. Very quiet at all times. Breakfast was very good - hardboiled eggs, a variety of sweets, croissants, breads, yogurts, jams and whole fruits. All staff were very nice and caring. Wifi was strong. We were able to store our backs after check-out to enjoy the day before our late afternoon ferry. Just a short ten-minute walk to the terminal and just a block from the old town center. Great location!

Very welcoming and helpful staff, from reception to kitchen and cleaning. They offer a communal fridge to store anything you want. Comfortable bed, good shower, heating very effective, quiet. Nice communal lounge area, very cozy in winter. Excellent location for the old town and for many good cafes, restaurants and shops.

Room and bathroom were on the small side. Not a complaint but a suggestion would be to put some rugs on the floors in winter, tiles are great in summer but can be a bit chilly in colder months.

This tasteful little hotel is situated on a quiet side street neat the historic centre of Colonia. As this is small, you can easily walk around from here and see all the sites. The rooms are not very big but offer all necessary amenities and the bedding and cleanliness are excellent. There is a nice inner garden with a small pond/pool with a cascade that provides a lush, soothing background sound. A very special thank you to the great staff that made us feel very much at home. The breakfast was great!

A little gem a place in a magical town. Staff was friendly and helpful. The back garden and facilities are a little oasis. Tastefully decorated and unpretentious. Made our Colonia stay very comfortable. My one nit was the WiFi. I was finishing up some business and needed corporate access to my company.

The WiFi settings at the hotel did not allow me to connect to my corporate VPN. It worked fine for my personal PC, but my corporate access was problematic.

Fabulous staff. Truly - so kind, friendly, helpful, caring, sweet . You'd stay just for them alone! Muchas gracias. Very comfortable rooms and bed. Lovely warm shower. Heating perfect (it is winter at the moment!). Very good WiFi. Sufficient sockets for plugs (which take most foreign adaptors too). Lovely building slap back in old centre. Didn't have breakfast but looked nice. Coffee, drinking water, some liquors offered in lobby. All in all, a great stay. Wish I could have stayed longer! But, I'll be back!

Perfect place to stay while visiting Colonia del Sacramento! The room was big enough for the two of us, full of lovely details that showed a wonderful taste for decoration, making you feel at home. The breakfast was wonderful, too, with various pastries, bread, etc. There are many places to sit and read, and enjoy being there. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There are parking spaces in front of the hotel. This posada is in the heart of the old city, just two blocks away from the historical sites. Highly recommended!

- not the best value for money similarly to accommodation in Colonia in general - a fridge in the spartan room would be appreciated in subtropical climes as well as a kettle maybe and we were not in the cheap rooms so can't imagine what those are like

Each team member exemplifies exceptional hospitality, making the experience truly memorable beyond what any picture could convey. Our winter stay was particularly charming, with the cozy ambiance enhanced by a fireplace in the lobby area. The bed was dressed in pristine linens, and the bedroom featured a large television along with reliable Wi-Fi. This hotel is an excellent choice, conveniently located just 150 meters from the entrance to the historic center.

Location is good , very near the old town and the staff were nice

Too many stairs to all levels. We are away for 40 nights so have luggage and we just left suitcases in the car as it was too difficult. The picture of the pool is nothing like what it looks like which was grubby. The description said our room had a patio which it did not have.. . Certainly pricey for the room we ended up with.
