You could only use the restaurant inside with aircon - for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Other guests than me disliked the aircon. I recommend using the outdoor terrace as an outside option I paid extra for a deluxe room for the balcony and the view . However, with the room placed in the corner and right next to a compressor of a kind, opening the terrace door or trying to stay at the terrace was very noisy - constantly. Further , with the said room in the corner, the wifi was unstable

We stayed for one night, the hotel is in the perfect location, easy access from the historic centre and a short 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal. It faces into the water and so we had beautiful views in the evening. The indoor pool was great (it was a bit cold the day we were there for swimming in the outdoor one). The indoor pool was lovely and had a large window facing over the water outside which could do with a clean, otherwise you'd have a great view! Unfortunately the hot tub/hydro therapy facility was not working the day we were there. The decor is a little dated, but everything in the room was clean and very comfortable. The shower had good pressure. The breakfast was outstanding, a great selection of meats, cheeses, cakes and pastries, scrambled eggs. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We loved the location walking distance to the old town and the pool next to the river. The breakfast was excellent. We used two meeting places and they were great too. The staff was always smiling and wonderful.

We didn’t like anything. Things to improve? The first room we received 132 had a bad smell, we believed was from the indoor pool. We were changed as soon as we complained. I don’t know how can you change that. There is a humidity smell in some places, friends staying in other rooms also noticed that. Suggestion: the hallways are too bare, no pictures, nothing. I would add a complementary bottle of water in the rooms.

Great location on the riverfront. The hotel common area is around a pool which is directly in front of the river. The hotel is in the old town, so you can walk to restaurants and shops very easily. Our room was very large with a balcony. The breakfast buffet was very substantial and many options. Juan at the front desk was very helpful with getting a SIM card to work. He spoke excellent English. The check in was easy and the woman who helped us was very friendly. She sent chocolates to our room for our wedding anniversary. We paid $ 115/night including breakfast. This was an excellent rate for such a nice property.

Pool area had no bar service. Many towels from guests left on the chairs and loungers. The constant thump of disco music around the pool starts about 11 AM.

Hotel was very nice for the price. Good location. Good property. Friendly staff. No complaints. It was close enough to everything, and nice enough for a good visit to Colonia.

A little loud in the morning because of construction during winter season. They were touching-up for guests who visit during peak season. Walls and ceilings were thin. Sorry neighbors.

We we're happy with the hotel's location, not too long of a cab journey away from the Buquebus ferry. It's at the end of a quiet side street, right at the water. The view from the pool was great, especially at sunset. Breakfast was alright and staff were helpful when we required their help. I would come back again.

I found the interiors and furnishing to be quite old and in need of a change. Some of the pool area, underneath the edge slabs are also in need of a clean.

The property is dated. The patio door was difficult to open. Peeling paint and other indications of wear. Beds were too firm for us although I know this is personal preference not shared by all. The indoor pool is open to the upper floors creating sauna in the lobby and hall. Exercise equipment was old and not adequate , especially the nautilus-style weight item.

Staff was very helpful and eager to provide great services. The breakfast buffet was large with many options to chose from. The pool was a nice getaway from the heat.

The faucet in the bathroom was overused and turned itself off after a while. The shower head was very old and sprayed water across the bathroom. Overall, the entire property seemed a bit dated.

Hotel sent their driver to pick us up at the bus station. Check in was fast and friendly. Desk clerk was very friendly and tried to help me find a battery for my camera. Corner suite had an awesome view of the pool and the river. Breakfast was good. We had a cheeseburger and salad for dinner at the restaurant. It was good. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

I paid for a Spa Tub suite. Spa tub was totally disfunctional. Restaurant full dining menu not available until 7:30PM, too late for us. Breakfast was good but no comparison to what we had at the Radisson in Montevideo.
