This youth hostel’s location, right next to lake Zurich, is ideal for open air swimming (water temperature in July 25 was 24oC!), ; the towns of Zurich or Rapperswil are easily reached by public transport. Good base for several hiking tours too. The views out of the windows are stunning too. Breakfast buffet was excellent

Excellent location by the lake and a short walk away from the train station. The hostel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast and a possibility to have a quick dip in the lake.

We found the hostel expensive compared to the other places we have stayed previously, however it seems to be in line with overall prices in Switzerland. It is a stunning but very expensive country.

Close to zuerich and the alps and more important direct on the lake of zuerich swimming 🏊‍♀️ the breakfast was delicious

It was amazing view . Clean room, quiet and nice 😍 Gabriel ( staff ) was super friendly and really nice guy! Thank you so much for everything 😍🥰

The location is top notch. Simply excellent! And also next to the train station. It was very clean, the rooms, bathrooms everywhere. And there was a good breakfast in the morning.

Only one problem was, wi fi was not working in my room. But honestly I didn’t mind it so much.

The food was good and plentiful and the staff very helpful. The area is very beautiful and it was a good atmosphere with families and all age groups. I would go again if l was passing that way on my motorcycle.

I liked the lake view and the breakfast. I liked how the person who did the check in for me treated me. I liked that I was able to have a bed in girls room. I liked that I was able to leave my bag in the locker room for luggage before check in and after check out.

I didn't like the late check in time.

Good breakfast. Excellent location with rail station very near to the hotel. Wonderful Lake Zurich added value to the property.
